A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyTue Aug 04, 2015 10:09 am

"What?..." that guy... Simon was it? Did he just say that... we have untill the end of the summer to stop Thesis and Anake?... Jack felt the bottom drop out of his world... it... it was so soon?... He thought they would have to corrupt every world before they could awaken their father... Jack thought he would have enough time to become at least a little bit stronger before the final fight... The crowds boos and jeers suddenly stopped mattering to Jack... He still heard them but, they suddenly made sense. These people were terrified and needed a scape goat, and Jack just happened to be there.

"Damn it... We don't have time for this!" with a grunt Jack would leap off stage and move towards Simon. "If you're truly as powerful as you say, why haven't you stopped Thesis yet!? Why do you need these innocent people to fight your battle for you if you're strong enough to finish this right now!?" Jack knew this guy could probably kill him with little to no effort... Just watching him tussle with Vash over here showed him that much... But a Hero doesn't back down just because his life is at risk, and he doesn't quake simply because those he is charged to protect turn against him. These people would always be Jack's number one priority, whether they liked him or not was a non issue.

"Simon right?... Well Simon. If the end is so close what are we waiting for... Let's go take care of this right now. Let's walk over to that stadium and finish this fight. Sharaku!" Jack would turn his gaze to his ashen skinned friend, the one who started him on his journey into this world of the supernatural... "Call up the strongest people you know... If we wait more worlds will fall... It's anticlimactic but we can't afford to wait another second.... I never thought we were already in the final two parter..."

"Sorry... Sharaku was it? I sort of lost my cool in the heat of arguing. Hey don't block me, I'm getting up on that stage." Then I quickly go around her and up onto the stage, near where the others are. "Once again, sorry for being lound. ;.; Yeah, this is the side of humanity nobody likes. Wow, so they are super hypocrites. I am honestly surpised I never noticed that before. I agree, why did you wait till now Simon? And why are you trying to involve the public?"

"Hmmm, is this one of those things where someone waits till the last second, wins the heart of the public, and steal what the rest of us have spent blood, sweat, and tears working for? Because if that is it your an ass. Wow Sharaku, looks like you really are the voice of reason. Ahahahaha, it's ironic really, the calmest person is listened to most attentively. No matter how truthful all the others are."

"Yeah, there is almost certainly a way to neutralize them without all the murders. Hmmm, maybe it's because each angel lived in one of those worlds when they were mortal, and they want to protect other worlds the only way they know how? IDK I'm just making up theories. Exactly Jack, he hasn't yet, and he suddenly steals the heart of the public. Waitwaitwaitwait, I'll only be on the sideline Jack. If I were to go out front and face the person in the stadium I would die. I think I'll be on the sidelines and heal those who come for healing."

"And yeah, no need to involve people without power without their consent. If they do have the power and they don't want to do anything, that's their choice. But I'll help in the little ways that I can. Even if it's just spamming Dia like there is no tomorrow. Sooo, what's the verdict? We gather everyone that we know having personas and face the big bad with this Simon guy at front? Or do we just not include him?" I'll worry about the angels again when the time comes to worry, but for now we need to go against the enourmous threat.

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyWed Aug 05, 2015 10:15 pm

So the answer to his question from the nut that had dared to touched him? Nonesense.

Sure he tried to explain what the hell was going on, but to Hiro it just sounded like a bunch of ramble. The angels were nice? “Super-heros” were calming stuff down? Portals to other dimensions? Okay, to Hiro some of that click well enough. After all, he was not exactly the normal guy now was he? Still this kid didn’t know that and to everyone else he was just a fed up citizen. If anyone was in the wrong, it was this kid for jumping to so many conclusions without anything, but fluff to back it up, so Rei did the only logical thing to do in this case, he tried to get the punk off of him using force.

But….somehow this asshole dodges? What the fuck man? And he was still keeping a grip upon him? And now he had him in a lock position? Oh this kid was too much. He was going to make him ---eh?

The movement and clang of a weapon nearby caught Hiro’s attention, his rage infused eyes swing easily to the white haired male that had performed the strange move apparently at the girl on stage's command. What was this new fresh hell, huh?

However, as he watched the guy, his fury would turn into a low burn as his eyes narrowed as he listened to what was being said.
Simon Alba…the angel and god slayer or so he said. While Hiro couldn’t say much to that claim, he had to admit this one did hold an intriguing power that suggested maybe he could back up what he said. In a nutshell, he had caught the tainted one's attention as the contact covered eyes looked the guy up and down as Hiro relaxed in his captor’s hands. As he relaxed, he took note the pink haired one gave up her fight and left the area. Good one less goody-two-shoes to deal with.

Even the chick left on stage seemed to be turning from her cause when this new dude made himself well known to everyone. Heh. Mr. Simon was looking more likeable by the minute. Of course Ranger Red was still trying to make his point stick, but Hiro was far less interested in this bull to attack one thing and leave the other. Now massacre all the problems? He liked that. The "for humanity's sake" part sucked, but hey a blood bath risked some sacrifices in pleasures right?

However, joy is cut short when one remembers the annoyances such as Mr. Justice that still held him. At his little speech about life and such, Hiro let out an audible sigh as he shook his head and looked over his shoulder at the guy.

“Seriously?” he would ask the other with an annoyed expression. If the kid believed all that bull, he was dead from the start. He really should just back down. This was no place for his dream like talk. Hiro probably would’ve said more if his attention wasn’t drawn back to Simon who was speaking.

“Mother, huh?” Hiro said out loud. It wasn’t intentional, but when someone talked like this guy did there wasn’t much to fight back with. Nah. Hiro was intrigued and eager to see if this guy could back his shit up. Thus why he was calming and least appearing to be drawn towards Simon and the girl’s cause. Simon became even more likeable when he got back at the kid for his words. Finally, someone that he could potentially work with! Chaotic or not, it seemed he and this guy lined up well enough. They just wanted the Angels and Gods gone, ya? He could work with that. At least this way he’d get his chaos and sweet revenge at the high class bastards. Sounded like a nice deal right about now.

Even as the girl spoke, he began to nod in agreement. Yep. Yep. Fight. Fight. He loved it. Hiro would’ve probably been laughing madly now, but then some dude came out of no where and jumped on stage. What the he--?

Hello! What did we have here?

Hiro’s eyes examined this new player on the board, everything from his skin color to way of speaking was interesting enough, but what had Hiro’s attention more was the eyes. What a pretty shade of gold. Just like something he was quite familiar with and that odd aura around him. What was this indeed. Hiro was intrigued, but almost immediately became annoyed as this one seemed to be trying to calm down people….with logic?

Hiro raised an eyebrow at this and all the words spoken. To be honest this was all giving him on big headache. On one hand you had the destroyers/fighter. On the other you had Mr. Hero. Now there was Mr. Logical who wasn’t really helping in the end cause like all he did was open more confusing doorways for already lost audience. On top of that he pretty much null what he was trying to do by placing focus on Simon. Okay….that was not helpful at all.

And what was this? Mr. Justice League behind him was spewing one sided nonsense again? Hiro was practically shaking with laughter due to this kid. He was trying to prove points, but kept contradicting himself with other words. Seriously, he’d kill his own cause at this rate. Oh, but wait this got even better.

Mr. Justice let him go and was now fighting to get on stage and yelling. As if yelling would solve anything. Hiro shook out his arms from the hold as he shook his head smirking at the kid and his useless speech. Such a sad little hero.

“Oh finally!” Hiro muttered under his breath, his smirking turning into a grin of pleasure as the girl came to face off the sad hero. He was getting tired of his mouth, but he didn’t know how effective she could be. After all, the kid seemed to keep blabbing no matter what was said. And won’t you look at that, now the people in the crowd were turning against Mr. Logical and even Simon was stirring the pot, but at least of everyone spewing this and that Hiro could actually agree with what Simon was saying.

Then along came Mr. Logical to challenge all that was said with his speech. This was becoming mind numbing, even for someone as insane as him! Fifty million questions focused on this and that didn’t help anything either. It was a chaotic mess plain and simple, but look at what happened when time was mentioned. Look how many hopeless faces turned up from under that rage and look how those on stage or near it seemed to lose it too. Look Mr. Red was coming after Simon. Heh.

With ease, Hiro moved himself between Mr. Red and Simon. He wasn’t going to let this guy jump all over him. Nah. Especially not when he had just contradicted himself in a major way. Acting as shield for someone who didn’t need one, Hiro would speak in calm tones as everyone threw questions of why at Simon. His voice was loud of enough for anyone near to hear.

“You guys are quite something you know? You get up on stage to spew your speeches, but then turn into screaming babies as soon your plans are blown to shit,” Hiro said to Jack with a cruel smirk on his lips; however, his voice remained leveled.

“Just a few seconds ago most of ya’ll "heroes" were calling for peace and calmness, but now you are asking your friend here to summon a different form army to race against a supposed time limit? You say the crowd jumps at the first thing said, eh Sharaku?” he said looking up at the golden eye man. “Well aren’t you and these "little heroes" doing the same? Simon says this and all of a sudden we have a onslaught of why didn’t you do anything, bro? What the hell?” Hiro would pause and as he calmly collected his thought,s the crowd somewhat listening as he began to think things out loud.

“Alright. So what do we have here? Angels and pissed off deities fighting against each other and getting a select few involved to try and counteract things. They say, they have been busting their asses to save us, but in the end we have nothing, but what was it that was said? Two fallen worlds, ya? And now hissy fits over fight angels or fight Ananke and Thesis. In the end no one who was “actively” doing “something for the public” has reached any sound solutions. So why wouldn’t someone that believed they could do something to actually help in this situation step up and summon people to their cause? The heroes ain’t helping us, so they give us the option to help ourselves. You asks for other options, but take this one into consideration. What if for a moment, this is us or them? Humanity or some deity that wants to control us, huh? You say this tower angel says things, but what if she wrong or trying to lead you astray? They are all player in this game and only want what is best for them. Not you,” he pointed to the people to on stage resisting this idea before he turned to crowd and pointed at them. “Or you. So why not get the bastards out of our hair? Power or no power, we got protect our own, right? And numbers have always won in the end, so why should that fail us now, huh? Why not stand up for ourselves for once?”

Rei would be silent for a moment to let that all sink before unexpectedly turning away from the crowd as he threw his hands up in the air, his tone of voice and attitude turning from dead serious to a dismissive one as he spoke.

“But what the hell do I know, right? I am just a trouble maker in the crowd, so why bother considering what I said? I am just blabbing like everyone else right? But here is something that is fact ladies and gents. Time doesn’t wait on anyone,” he said finishing his bit before falling silent, his eyes locking on Simon as he let “humanity” choose its fate.

As he watched Simon he would give him a Cheshire like grin before his lips parted and he spoke directly to the other.

"Shall live. Lives. Lived. Shall die. Dies. Died. It is Fate's way, no?" he would say in tones where only Simon could hear as he watched him with curious and intense eyes. Could Simon have a potential ally of his cause? Or were the words that of a madman watching someone that had interfered with plans before?

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyFri Aug 07, 2015 11:20 pm

When Tremora attempted to get around her, Rinna simply stepped to whatever side he was going for with a glare. This guy was rather annoying, and so were the others on the stage. If he attempted to hop aboard again, she would move to the side and swing her leg out, not kicking him back from the stage, but clearly trying to intimidate him. He was now getting belligerent in the improper way. Thinking about what was said, she remembered the word "Jack" again. She heard from this guy too, did that mean that the man in red was Jack? Meaning of all of the names on the list, the one that came to mind was 'Jack Rannells'. Simon knew it too, and looked at Rinna, who nodded. "So, Jack Rannells is under that mask? Interesting. Are you that big of a coward to hide behind one?" She looked to him, gauging the young man. This was mostly curiosity on her part.

Looking at Sharaku though, she simply couldn't let what he said go. "I am trying to explain what is going on. You are trying to get them to understand the Angels. What they are doing is the definition of brainwashing, when they mess with your concepts of right and wrong. There is a big difference between what we are doing." Rinna spat back. Simon thought for a moment. "If I helped you early on, they would have suspected I planned to send them all against you. That would have put everyone here in danger. Watch what happens when you disagree with an Angel beyond philosophy. They aren't as kind as you think," he said, looking to Naomi and Jack. "I can't speak for the other Angels. It is possible to neutralize the Angels whether you are aligned to them or not. If you don't want to end them that's fine. We can stop them as long as they are finished. They reside in the other worlds for reasons I am finding myself. Perhaps our worlds are connected somehow. Ever notice that you all cannot use your Personas here? You can in the Other worlds and the tower. You can fight there if need be." Several nodded and others scanned the area, eyeing at the rifts nearby. Whatever Simon meant, it seemed to have resonated in the crowd. "We can fight with you now. But only if your intent is to strike both Angel and Primordial down. I will not fight alongside anyone aligned with the Angels. That is my stance here and now." Rinna had enough trying to persuade them, that wasn't why she was here. "You all can take a final stand here, and we can prepare to end the war that these stupid gods started. Humans need to take back what they have fought for all of these years!" Rinna shot her fist up in the air, as the others gathered around Simon, prepared to defend him, glaring at Sharaku and Jack with faces of passion, anger, determination, a simple swirl of people, willing to finally side for something they truly cared for. Hiro's words  succeeded to affirm that choice that they all made. Only a short few seemed to stay away, perhaps still unsure or frightened to take a side. "You all can join us,  or you can run, and support the cause of this. You might as well be joining in on the war. If you side against us, then this is where we become enemies. I have honey and I have vinegar, which one do you want?" Rinna said watching Sharaku and Jack, while turning to Naomi once more. She didn't directly oppose her, but she was not sure where Naomi stood. If she wanted to support them, now was the time to do so. She looked at Simon, and he returned with a reassuring smile.

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptySat Aug 08, 2015 7:17 am

Eh. Fine, fine. Whatever they say. Sharaku would glance at Rinna. ''I'm simply trying to point out that it's narrow-minded to choose a side without understanding the other in any way. Unless you just want to be judgmental right away with your only proof being assumptions based on what you see. You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, as they say. You have an option of not following their views. I'll have you know, I've come in contact with Angels before and whatnot, and I'm not thinking differently. I still have my own opinion. You're butting into people's concepts too, so while you may not be doing the same thing, it's not completely different either.'' Right. So what if he had been in contact with Angels? His concepts of right and wrong were still his own. As a matter of fact, he didn't agree with Angel completely either, despite going with it for now. It was more beneficial to do that right now. But truth was, while her wish was close enough to what he could accept, it still meant fighting their way through all this pain, and changing at least something. He would rather the Event simply not exist. If a Wish was to be for humanity to decide, then they alone should decide, without any actual Angel influence. That one was what he had a problem with. Therefore, if it came down to a disagreement later, he would be fine with quitting this alliance, or whatever it was. Assuminh Angel would be adamant in her view. The Angels had minds too. Perhaps they could be reasoned with on some terms.

He would just shrug at the guy repeatedly trying to get on the stage. He didn't know who that was...but the guy was mostly just sprouting random things, and he didn't have anything to say to that. It wasn't really important enough compared with the rest that was being said. He would raise an eyebrow at Simon. ''I'm not sure of the difference. If they could have assumed that before, why couldn't they do the same now? But yes, if you go and claw at someone, they would defend themselves. That is true even with us humans, so of course the Angels would retaliate somehow. I don't see how that makes them even worse.'' As if they were the only ones that would do something when severely disagreed with. Not really fair to state that. That said, he would stay silent until the end when everyone said their pieces. He would look towards the guy in the crowd speaking up. ''I don't know about the others, but I'm simply trying to calmly discuss here. Are we not allowed to ask questions or anything? And I'll just let you know that if we haven't truly done anything, then the situation would be worse than it is now. Unless you've actually been watching what we did and how, I don't think you can just claim we haven't helped in any way.'', he would shrug. He personally wasn't trying to jump, simply understand this commotion. He wasn't yelling or anything. The others doing that was not his fault.

''In any case. I'm not trying to defend the Angels, no. I simply don't think hating on them so much is the right way. As a matter of fact, I don't really agree with them either. And if you were doing this a bit differently, perhaps I would assist, Simon. But not like that. It's true that people can use Personas on the Other side yes. But that goes for those that have one to begin with. Those who don't...what can they do? You're just asking them to go die there. Or what? Can you give people a Persona? Even if people automatically got one by going inside, a starting out fighter like that is glad to face off against a few Shadows and win. Angels are a good 20 times stronger, if not more. A person that doesn't have the fighting expertise with a Persona...is only going in there to ask for their own death. I myself am not even a God, and I could possibly kill everyone here who does not have power in less than a few minutes, if that was my goal. What do you expect them to do against an actual Deity? They would flip them a finger and hope they bow over?'', he would shake his head. ''This is what I cannot agree with. Making innocent civilians..possibly just a death fodder. You could have easily tried to appeal to the many people that have had Personas for a while, and could help out in a meaningful way. But no, let's grab those that have a 90% chance of death if they come close to a fight like that. This is what I call despicable.'', he would turn to Rinna. ''I'm sure you remember when we saved you. Before you got your Persona...you tried punching a Shadow. You couldn't even properly touch it without power. This is what you want to happen to people? A crowd of people like that makes no real difference to a few. One attack from a God could knock them all out in one go or kill. And you call this 'For humanity'. I'm sure the resulting death count would beg to disagree with you in the end. I understand your desire to act, but stooping as low as willingly asking people on the street to go pretty much die for you...that's what is not right. They have families and everything. How will those feel when their relatives die because they went into this headfirst? Would you not regret an action like that? There are so many who've been fighting for a while, and have a better chance...and you turn to people that don't even know what they are truly getting into. How can this be alright?'' It just...couldn't be. Unless Simon was a special snowflake, and could grant everyone a powerful Persona...then this was just...a horrible thing to make civilians do and say it's in the name of humanity. And if he could? Then it wouldn't have really mattered what the Angels could assume before. They would have a strong opposition that could win, right?

''Other than that...the fact that you say whoever is not with you is your enemy. You're just making yourself your own side, like the Angels do. You against me? Go to hell. You're just fighting for yourself and those who agree with you, not for the whole humanity, if you consider everyone with a differing opinion your enemy. That's what I'd call being a judgmental prick, and not event regret saying it. You may have the right initial idea, but you're executing it in a deplorable way. If things were different, I may have agreed, but like this, no. Does this mean I'm a big bad and your enemy? Go ahead, if that is truly your sense of right. If I'll have to...I'll fight alone, instead of leading people on the street to their demise with my actions.''
, he would state, turning to Jack with a sigh afterwards.

''This is up to you. I refuse to do things in this manner. I can gather strong people and go fight, but if they here plan on crippling innocent civilians along the way, then I am not going with them. Decide who you want to go with, if you want to act Jack. You can find me around later if you want to talk.''
That's simply how it was. ''Anyway, Simon. I respect your idea. Maybe we will have to do this. Defeat them all. But I'm not going to use people with no expertise as if they were tools for me. That is just a way to cause more grief, despair and pain. I see you know my name for whatever reason, so you can probably find me if you wanted something that doesn't involve a riot like this. That's all I'll say. You're all free to choose your own destiny after all. And I do not enjoy being the center of attention anyway. So au revoir for now.'', he would give them all a laid back smile, before jumping off the stage and walking away from the crowd. Or running if they wanted to be jerks and pick a thing with him. He wasn't going to stay unless someone made him with something big enough. A fight was not what he was looking for. That, and he'd rather spend time working on solving this in a less catastrophic way instead of standing around here and arguing with everyone. And he heard enough to understand what was going on for now. For now, he would stay in San Malarus for a while longer. If anything big happened, he could still come around to interfere later, but he wasn't planning on it, unless it was really a danger.

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptySun Aug 09, 2015 11:06 pm

"Heh.... Well I suppose that's that..." Jack let out a low sigh as he saw the crowd begin to gather round Simon, each of them throwing nasty glares at Jack as if he was the one causing the corruption of the worlds... as if somehow he was the one that took their lives from them, put that bit sphere in the sky, and canceled taco Tuesday down at the Taco Shack... Ok that last one probably wasn't the primordial's or the angel's fault... But by god Jack had to blame someone! And he wasn't about to blame the good people of the Taco shack, they were but the hapless victims of the capitalist government...Jack was red in more ways then one ya know!.

"I guess you've all made your choice... Alright then." With a hiss and a bellow of thick white smoke, Jack undid the first latch on this helmet. A thousand thoughts raced through the Red Warrior's head as he undid the second. The people he had worked so hard to protect now turned their hatred towards him. Memories of people highfiving him in the streets and hot dog vendors giving him one on the house with a laugh and a smile flash through his head. Jack remembered the joy he would feel as he watched children's faces light up when they saw him run through the streets in hot pursuit  of a fleeing criminal. Those happy memories clashed with the dark, hate-filled stares. Jack smiled wryly as he removed his helmet to the crowd and held it to his side."I said it before and I'll say it again... the fact that you assume everyone who isn't by your side is your enemy is proof that you understand nothing. People disagree... it is through those disagreements that we grow, so long as we can talk through them, and understand each other better, we can becomes better people. I am indeed Jack Rannells, and I am the Red Ranger. You claim this mantle is something I hide behind with cowardice. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. It is a symbol. This helmet means more to me then you could ever imagine and I wear it with pride and honor. It is the helmet of a hero willing to fight and die for humanity, a hero willing to give everything for the people he protects. I strive to be strong enough to inherit their Red Legacy, the mantel of the 39 who have come before me, and to set the course for those who will come after."

Jack would stand his ground in-front of the wall of angry eyes and slowly raise his hand to Rinna."I can't support what you're doing here... You're heart is in the right place but your actions are clouded by fear and rage. Stop this before innocent lives get hurt... If you want to stop Thesis then I can help you... but if you want to put these civilians in harms way I can't stand by you... I am not your enemy, and I'm not joining the cause of all this. I want to be your friend... Please let me... Send these people home, don't make them fight the Primordials or the angels. If you do their blood will be on your hands... And trust me, that is a stain that will never come off..."

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyMon Aug 10, 2015 6:03 pm

"Would you please get out of my way Rinna? I think I've calmed down enough, thanks to Sharaku who is now gone. So could you please let me go upstage?" If Rinna let me through I go onto the right side of the stage and await anything to happen. Well, looks like the firebrand is at it again. "OK look man, they severely mitigated the effects the other world's have had on us. And they have been searching for a long time on how to confront the big bad. Please don't try and say we can't get anything done, because we have. So, if the angels want to change us how they see fit, force them to stop. Then we can also kill or imprison this Thesis."

"Just don't involve those without power, heck don't even involve those who have just awakened. Because they would probably be insta-killed. Only those who are at their maximum potential should go, because if I'm right Thesis is a god-like life form. And newbies like me wouldn't stand a chance against gods. Nobody should be forced to go through a hellish encounter like that. Heck, even just facing yourself is a traumatic experience, because the embodiment of everything you hide from society, and sometimes don't even know about, is trying to kill you. That is probably 1/1000000 in relation to thesis' power. So don't send the masses, send those with honed potential."

"Please Simon, force the angels to stop changing humanity, and kill or imprison Thesis and the other primordials. Please, do it for the sake of humanity if nothing else. You have the power, so use it for the greater good.

More words were passed and the pretty eyed one on stage decided to make his exit once he saw that he had lost as the crowd began to crowd around Simon. It appeared they were on his and the girl’s side now. Oho. Wasn’t this delightful? Hiro could’ve jumped up and down in victory right about now, but he did not. He had an act to keep up, so as the others piled in around Simon, he wiggled his way out of the crowd, placing him closer to the stage.

He heard Ranger Red’s words. Saw his big reveal. Heard his plea. Heh. For someone who was all talk a moment ago, he sure did stoop to a low level when he lost didn’t he? Hiro would simply look up at him with a light smirk.

“If you are so concerned about them, then join them, Jack. Join them and show them you aren’t just show. Protect them and all of humanity with action. They are ready to go, so don’t stop them. Let them fight for what is theirs. Their freedom,” Hiro said watching the other with an unreadable expression as he said the words. He wanted to break this guy and break him good. Whether it was here and now or sometime later, people like this kid could not be allowed to stand for long. In any case, he left the guy to make his choice. As for Mr. Hero… Hiro’s eyes would turn to him as he spoke his face becoming as cold as ice as he looked over at the guy.

“Listen ‘ere, Hero. I ain’t about fun and games here. Gods or supernatural entities… You think for one second I am going at this just to start war man? Nah man. I’ve seen what the gods offer and what bowing down does to them. It kills ya right here, yo,” Hiro tapped he spot where his heart was before his eyes narrowed into deadly slits.

“You can try to reason with them all you want. Try to make them surrender, but in the end it is a waste of time. The powerful never listens as long as we sit and be submissive and so action is the only option to change things. You can stand there and whine if you want about peace, but you’ll still be whining when the time runs out. They ain’t gonna listen and all those efforts you spoke of? Heh. They ain’t helpin’ us none, so either run like pretty boy did or join us. Thereare no other options,” Hiro said to the other before backing away from the stage a bit. He would hold out one hand towards the crowd that was with Simon and Rinna before performing a bow that anyone who had met Akumu would’ve recognized as he left Mr. Hero with the same choice he gave Jack.

What would they do now? Fate would show the rest of the tale.

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyWed Aug 12, 2015 10:46 pm

After Sharaku had left, Rinna looked at him. The people can decide for themselves how strong they were. If he wanted to pretend that humans couldn't step up for themselves, then that was his problem. But it seemed as though Rinna's taunt got to the red man, as he himself took off his helmet and revealed his presence. Rinna smirked at him. Jack may not have known it, but it was her way to show respect. Anyone to  make a stand in the face of all of this adversity is something to be admired for. And for that reason, she listened to him carefully, and listened to his point. He didn't want these people to be slaughtered, which was totally reasonable. But as always, he failed to catch the point. "I never said I planned on storming the gates now. If you were smart, you'd know that simply bringing people headlong into a fight is stupid. It's up to the people to decide how strong they are, and be prepared for when the time comes. Just because they haven't been involved doesn't mean they don't have abilities, or did you forget what happened early this year when all of those rifts showed up? So many suddenly got their powers from that. If you don't realize that, then you are as blind as everyone else who stands by. If you take your stance now, then we are enemies. The Angels will be gone, along with the Primordials. That is what he and I believe in, and anyone and everyone who believes in what we do are free to join us, whether you like it or not."

Simon looked to Tremora, and nodded, while several of the crowd were tired of him. "Ah shut up guy!" one man shouted. Simon however remained calm. "This power will be used on both sources. I never intended to fight and put people in harm's way unless they knew how to defend themselves. But we can't have the Angels win and call that true peace. No, the truth is that they both need to go," he said. The people remained where they stood. Simon looked at Rinna and she looked back him with a small wry smile. "This is over. Leave or join us now. Everyone here that chooses to join us, please prepare as best as you can. By the end of the month, we will take back what is ours!" She watched the crowd, nodding thoughtfully at them before Simon eventually walked back towards the stage and ascended to it. The people remained silent for a time before some of them began to leave, the crowd dispersing in an incredibly tense wave. It seemed that for what is was worth nothing went downhill today.

PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyThu Aug 13, 2015 4:11 pm

''Your're right, bringing untrained civilians into a fight is stupid... which is why I'm questioning why you're doing it...." Jack sighed and watched as the people around him began to file out. None even spared him a glance, they were all to entranced by the speach and with a false bravado that could only be matched by his own. Though... if he had that same feeling, how could he fault them for having it?... simple... they weren't expendable. Each of them had a purpose that went beyond this fight, Jack did not. He was born to die defending those who now fallowed  Rinna to death. Jack would not let another soul die on his watch... one was enough. However... fighting Rinna and Simon now would only get the crowd more motivated towards their cause... for once Jack's plan of "hit it untill it stops being evil" wouldn't work... but... maybe that was because they weren't evil in the first place. Just scared and fallowing the first person who offered them a way out. But that way out involved not only civilian death... but the murder of several sentient forms of life... Angel or not the ones those two were so set on killing had just as much right to life as any human. This was something that Jack just could not stand for.

"Rinna, Simon... I can not stand for the death you promise not only these people but the angels... I am a hero." Jack slowly clasped his helmet on and took one last glance at what he might of become if not for the grace of god, and the loss of a brother..."And I am not your enemy. I am a defender of all life, I am a Power Ranger... I hope you come to understand what that means some day. But untill then... Stay alive, and don't get anyone killed" With that Jack turned and took his leave...

He had not gotten more then a few yards from the stage when he felt a hand on his shoulder drag him aside. A moment of fear filled the Red Ranger's soul as he thought the crowd decided that perhaps a linching was in order, however his heart sank even further when he saw the matted black hair blue uniform of a man all to familiar to Jack. "D-dad!?'' Jack stammered as he was pulled from the crowd.

''Jack... what the  Hell do you think you're doing!? Why the hell did you take off your helmet! I can't protect you if you're identity is public!''

''I think the better question here is what are you doing here?'' Jack hissed as he pulled himself away from his father's iron grip.

''A mysterious rally pops up in the middle of the city? A loony bird talking about starting a revolution? Why wouldn't the police get involved Jack?" Conner sighed and let his nerves cool for a moment, he took his eyes off his son and towards the stage.''Jack... what the hell is going on?''

''... The beginning of the end Dad... I just hope it's a happy ending...''

''...You do realize that didn't answer my question in the least... and that I know you were just trying to sound deep and philosophical right?''

''Yeah... But it was a cool trailer line eh?'' Jack shared a chuckle with his father before suddenly bolting with nothing but a wave and a shout''Sorry dad but I can't let you arrest me right now! I gatta go find Sharaku! I'll tell ya all about what happened over dinner tonight! I'm running away from you so my voice is fading out so byyyyyye....''

''Wait Jack the hell is.... Damn that child....'' Though Conner was used to his son's antics, he couldn't help but feel a headache begin to form... He needed a drink... but he had work to do...

[Jack has exited, But his father has stayed behind.]

"Fine, If you want them gone I will join you Simon Alba. But just so you know, if you create needless bloodshed, I will stop you. Rinna, the reason I don't want to involve civilians and even some of those with power is because no one should have to unwillingly face these horrors. Only those who are willing to fight and brave this crazy mess should be involved." *Sigh* looks like they at least are giving our points of view good consideration. And it seems that Rinna has a slight bit of respect for Jack?

Wait a minute, isn't that Conner Ranells, the police chief? It looks like Jack is dodging answering what is, will, and has happened to his father. Looks like I might need to fill him in. "I can tell you want to know what the hell is going on around here nowadays. I think I can thoroughly explain it, but only if your ready for it. So, are you ready for the truth sir?" I intentionally don't mention his son, because jeez. I feel like enough of a douche asking him for Jack's number, don't want to make things even more complicated and tense.

Everyone seemed to be clearing out, though Rinna remained silent when the young man proclaimed to be their enemy. So be it. If they had to fight, then she would have to win. That's just how it was. Tremora offering to help was a good sign. "If you wish to help, then feel free to remain after everyone has gone. We can offer something for you," Simon said, before walking to the middle of the stage to look out for any foul play going on amongst the crowd. Meanwhile, Rinna crossed her arms and looked around. Naomi still seemed to be here, and she was curious about her. She hopped down from the stage and walked to her, a strong yet anxious face. "Hey, are you alright? Did you like what happened? You matter to me Naomi, so I want to know what you think."

Conner Rannells looked at Tremora with a look of utter bewilderment. Seriously? This guy was here to? What the hell? Did everyone get invited except him? With a sigh Conner removed his hat and ran a hand through his hair. "Look... Tremora... I know about most of this, the whole personal and shade bullshit. So there's no need, what I need to do is speak to the organizers of this little "Get Together". Come on, you've been deputized right? I'll need the backup..." Conner sighed again. This had something to do with Jack...He just KNEW IT... Why wouldn't that child just do what he was told and stop all this nonsense...

"Excuse me miss." Conner called as he approached Rinna," I'd like to have a few words with you."

"Oh, so you know already? Well then, ummm, I guess I will be with you when you talk with them? Hmmm, I guess I'll at least listen to you Simon. *Sigh* So much craziness, so little time to sort it out."

A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Rally to Fight For   A Rally to Fight For - Page 3 EmptyWed Aug 19, 2015 11:45 pm

Naomi had be listening to this entire debate all the while. She still wasn’t really sure what she should be doing. Maybe that was the problem. She was trying to figure out what she should be doing, rather than what she wanted. What she wanted… she could feel it deep down. It was a dingy mess of confusing, knotted up yarn. Why did opinions have to be so confusing? She hated this. It seemed like she was going to have to pick a side within the next few moments. Rinna was making her way over to her. She wanted to wear a smile, but she couldn't muster one. It was funny. She was usually good at forcing herself to smile. This just wasn’t the time for it, it seemed, “Well, the rally certainly took an… unexpected turn…” How many people had started fights the entire time, “I’m sorry it went that way. I know you just wanted a peaceful rally, and I suppose I didn’t really help with that…” This is why she usually thought out her actions ahead of time. She spur of the moment actions and emotions were tricky, “I mean, it seems like you still found your audience. You also made some enemies though, it looks like.” It seemed like a mixed bag.

She needed to give an answer. She just had to say what would make her happy, right? Say something vague and fix it along the way? After all, she couldn’t think of how Rinna would react. They were friends though. That meant they listened to each other, right? Right? She opened her mouth to speak nervously, “Rinna, we’re friends, right? So… I can be completely honest with you?” She was not making this sound like something good at the moment. She could only imagine how this would end. She laughed internally at herself before beginning. She had nothing to be nervous about. Probably, “Honestly, I don’t know what I think about this. I’m with you in that I think what the Angels want is awful and I want to stop them as much as I do Thesis. I don’t think they should have any say in what humanity is or what it becomes. That’s up to us, not them.” She hated the idea of them interfering, “I agree with you there, but… I don’t think killing them is the answer either. I think stopping them is harder than that. I think if we just kill them, we’re doing exactly what they may want to change in us. Plus, I know Simon said there shouldn't be any repercussions, but… Believe nothing you hear and only 50% of what you see. I don’t know how willing I am to trust that nothing will happen if we do that.” She had to be honest, “I don't know what I want or think about all of this, but I don't think I want this. I want the answer with the least hardship and bloodshed. I want the answer that seems impossible. I want to solve this by proving we’re better that what they think we are.” She rubbed her arm to calm her nerves.

She chuckled sadly as she spoke. She was so nervous saying this. She didn’t know how her finally saying what she wanted, being herself, would make her friend react. She hadn’t lied about who she was. All those other opinions were still hers, but so was this. It’s just that there was more to her than impulse, “I’m not your enemy, but I can't agree with your plan. Not yet, at least. I want to see if there’s another way that involves less hardship for everyone. We have the same goal, but different methods. However… If I can’t find that other method or it turns out to be impossible before you’re ready to move out, I guess I will be joining you. The end desire is the same, after all. One way or another, we have to get there..” She could feel her gut knotting up on her. This was new to her. Saying exactly what she thought. It was still the neutral path. She always liked the neutral path. Maybe that’s why it had always been so hard for her to speak up. She wanted to stay neutral and not step on anyone’s toes. But… that wasn’t the neutral path she shouldn't have been taking. She should have walked the path that hurt the fewest amount of people, but was still loyal to what she wanted. Even in her own head, that made no sense, “I’m sorry. I’m hoping there is another way. Call it naive, but I think it must exist. If it didn’t, why didn't this happen earlier? There was something that put it off until now. I just have to find that and make sure this stops for good. I just want out home back.” She would end with a small smile. She was so nervous, but she was sincere. She had no idea how Rinna would take this. She was honest with Rinna and herself. What she wanted was now all out on the table.

She hated herself for not being done yet. Her mouth needed to stop, “You matter to me too. That’s why I’m willing to help you. I just… I need to see all the sides to this before anything. I keep feeling like part of the story is missing. I know I don’t have that time though, so I’m going to play it loose, I guess. I just think… I don’t want people getting hurt.” She swallowed a lump in her throat, “I know you can fight on your own, but that doesn’t mean I want you to be in that kind of danger. I’ve been fighting for so long now, I know what it’s like to fear dying. I’ve been there before. I have training under my belt. I fear others may falter. They may have the gift, but I don't know if they’re ready. Maybe I just feel strong, and I’m hoping that strength isn't just brute strength. I’m hoping that strength is something more. The strength to protect who and what matters to me.” She gave Rinna a look that made it clear she was speaking about her, “If that means solving this in the way I hope I can or walking into battle with you to make sure you have at least one person who knows how to fight and can recognize a bad situation… I’m willing to do it.” Her heart hurt. It was pumping blood too quickly. She was getting light headed from all of this. Still, she said what she needed to. That was what mattered.
