| Naomi tapped on her desk and stared at her e-mail. Well, he hadn’t gotten back to her, so she could only assume the worse. She started typing out an e-mail to him. She didn’t know what to say, so she went with: “If you are alive, answer me. If you are dead, tell me what kind of flowers you want at your funeral.” She sent it off after that. That kid was so screwed. Well, at least she would know what kind of flowers he wanted. That would accomplish something. That or he would be perfectly fine. She sent out another one after that, “PS: If you are alive, congratulations!!!” Three exclamation points for emphasis. She leaned back and waited for any kind of answer. | |

| Red rose petals, having them sprinkled all around would be nice. “ Hyde would say jokingly as he walked on over to the station, “ After literally jumping into my soul to save me from being stabbed by my shadow, it would of sucked if i let you down, right?” Hyde would smile as he was emailing naomi with his phone. “I’m back out, it pretty much feels great to be alive, the fresh air and all that. But thanks naomi, thank you for coming for me. It must of been pretty odd for me to pull you from wherever you was or doing like that. “ Hyde didn't know of how the out of body experience might of felt for Naomi, but he was glad that she and the others showed up. | |

| She would snicker at his response. At least he had a dark sense of humor. That may have won him a few points in her book. Strangely, he was doing pretty well to be earning those, lately.
I’ll keep a note of it for when you really do kick-the-bucket. What will that be, about 60-70 years? If I haven’t lost my mind by then, I will make sure it’s done. Unless I’m dead first, it which case I want lilies.
She wondered if they had just made some weird, secret death flower pact. Then she remembered that would be kind of creepy and cool. Death flower society. That would freak so many people out and it made her chuckle. Man, she was dark today.
Sucked is an understatement, sir. I would have gone back in there and shaken your lifeless soul, body, thing until you were crying from the force of having your brain rattling inside your head. The good news is that I’m sure that tactic would have confused your Shadow enough for you to get the upper-hand in no time. That, or I would have given it a good punch for the fun of it. Think it knows what my fists are like? I mean, it is you.
Regardless, glad to see you out of there. I have to admit, I’m curious about what went on there. I mean, why was it you couldn’t have any backup yet you could pull each of us away? Or is the explanation majicks~. And, don’t worry. I wasn't doing much. Besides, it doesn’t seem like it took that long. Apparently it’s the equivalent of staring off into space for a few seconds. No one will ever notice as long as you pretend you are actually paying attention to something. But seriously, what happened in there?

| I'll be honest with you, i could've used one of your haymakers in that fight. Would of made for a good distraction in that fight, as well a flooring him. That would of been nice, i mean, it's not me getting punched for once…...ok well it’s still me in a way >.<
Hyde thought for a moment as to why things turned out the way that they did. He was confused about the whole “Do it yourself” deal, but he still felt as if he had to explain as much as he could. “ Well, i wish i knew the answer to that. “Well, my awakening started with hearing a lot of voices in the area, which was just a bunch of people saying different things i already heard all at once, good and bad. Then my shadow started calling me over, but i couldn't go yet. So i kept walking and i had a few choices in front of me. One sign on the left path said "The Path to Hope" The sign in the middle path said "The Path to Defeat" And the sign on the path to the right said "The Path to the Truth. I took the path of truth and found something really interesting. Remember that god that i said i wan into? Or being? I dont know if Goenna is an angel or anything, but i found out that she was always with me. No really, like, how do i explain this….. she was behind me the entire time...and we couldn't see her….. if that makes any sense…..
The next set of paths involved what i will gain and what i will lose , i picked gain and…. it made even less sense. Images of myself standing in a realm of light, and images of myself walking down a path of darkness. Then a big mass showed up and then i unleashed something. But the vision ended there. Thats usually left to negative interpretation when i dwell on it, and something peculiar makes a bit more sense. “ Hyde would say as he patted the side of his pocket.
Then my shadow sapped all my strength and i couldn't even stand, i thought i was going to lose without putting up a fight, but then...... you and everyone else came for me. and Goenna

| Haymaker? Is that what we’re calling my right hook now? Gotta say, I may like it. No one would suspect it coming with that kind of title. Although, maybe that’s just me. Point is, I would have loved to punch your Shadow in the face. I think every version of you needs to know a good punch. I’m just kidding, of course. I’ll try not to lose my temper again. Note: try.
She would read through all the info he sent her and pause. She had to re-read the entire thing over again. Her head was just filled with confusion. She had to say something in reply: Well, I mean, that sounds like it was quite the ordeal. Seems like you took in a lot during that entire thing. You say Goenna was there? How strange that you met her just before you went there. I wonder if it means something.
I must admit that I don’t understand what that all means. It seems like you went through so trippy stuff and you’re expected to understand it all. At least you got out of there just fine. I would have hated to have to bail you out again. Tell me, now that you know all of that, what do you plan to do?

| After i defeated my shadow Goenna gave me two orbs, one of them is for me to use when i face the father. That probably means the thing that the primordials are going to awaken and if goenna is giving me something to use against it, then that means that it might be unavoidable. The second orb is for someone i have my faith in, something that would be useful when facing the mother, which is the final person for you guys to face to have your wish granted. i’m still deciding who i can entrust this too, if this orb can make all the difference, and group with the accumulated wish wins, i need to be sure that it's a wish worth fighting for……i don't think you joined an angel yet? Or maybe what you truly want doesn't involve the need of one?
I’m sorry for rambling…. its just..the whole impending doom thing….. it’s really going to wake up naomi…….”
Hyde sent that email and then started another.
“I saw the velvet room texts about something called the last machine in san malarus, i was hoping you had more information about it since it’s your domain. Did something happen there? And, i’ll be taking someone with me to check out alternate standsten. I wonder if we warn the angel beforehand that we can prevent the corruption from happening. It can't be reversed once corrupted, but i still feel as if i need to try, or at least slow down the primordials. The person that invited me had a hunch that it was in the middle of alternate standsten, so its an idea to check at least.

| *rolls eyes as hard and sarcastically as possible* Oh great. You really are some really big part of all of this. I protest this motion. Can I fill out an application for a new protagonist? I hate when I’m wrong about this kind of stuff. Actually, living in denial is probably easier, so let’s try that. See? I’m doing it right now. *stares into the distance, eye filled with whimsy*
She wasn’t trying to mock him. This was actually how she was sometimes. It just seemed to come out with him. Just like every person in the world cause another part of her to show through. It was kind of funny that after all the anger, this was the side of her he got. The part of her that was still left over from her old days, but was toned down with who she was now.
Our wish? I’m not sure what that means, exactly, but cool. And, yeah, I haven’t joined any of the angels. I don't have any interest in doing so either. I’m not really on their side. I’m on humanity’s side. If they have that in mind or not, I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter. I will stay under the allegiance of the people of Azores and fight that way. What I want is simple. I just want home and happiness and friends. Can’t fault me for that, can you?
Don’t worry about the impending doom looming over the horizon. We’ll just take it down. A lot of us are training and it’s not like we’re all alone. There are more of us than when we started. Us four have grown into dozens. We can beat whatever is coming. Ramble however long you want, because I won’t believe the end will beat us. We’re too amazing to beat.
It seemed so simple, but it meant so much. She sighed to herself when he mentioned the last machine. She was not looking forward to this.
Yeah, I know what it is, sort of. I also have to apologize. I got mad at you because you re-awoke the Red Storm, but… the last machine is my fault. I tried to hack into something and it found me. I mean, I got some information I guess, but I also didn’t get a lot. I guess finding it means something. I want to get rid of it as soon as I can. I’m scared though. That San Malarus doesn’t like Persona. I also need to get people cleared from the bar in case something goes wrong. It’s a lot of planning and gathering resources. I’m taking responsibility for this though. I will beat it before something goes wrong.
If everything goes right, maybe beating this thing will draw out the angel. Then we can do whatever we need to in order to prevent the corruption. It could be the best move if we beat it. I need to go back soon. Umm… it’s not going to be easy, so… Yeah, just remember that I want lilies if this ends badly.

| Hey hey now, you take the hand you're dealt with, but i’m sure of one thing, i’ll make the right choice and play my role well. Oh...and by the way, applications start with a cult offering of an arm and a leg, paid up front. “ Hyde was confident in that at least, he was sure that he wouldn't mess this up in the end.
“Being on the side of humanity huh? that's a pretty good answer ...i like it.. we should meet up in person soon by the way... if you want to. “ WEll, that kind of filtered in naomi as a candidate for the orb then, doing whatever it takes for the sake of humanity and follow her own path instead of an angel is what angel wanted them to do in the first place. So with that being said, that choice isnt particularly wrong. However, Hyde didn't hear the others as well, the ones he were considering at least.
“Trust me, i have nothing but faith that we can pull through and take those gods down, or whatever the primordials try to throw at us. The only thing i’m concerned about is those dozens of people being on the side of different angels. I don't think it'll be too big of a deal, but i don't want everyone to start turning on eachother you know. Thats kind of why being on the side of humanity seems like a perfectly good choice for the time being. Though, Hyde would facepalm a bit when naomi mentioned that this was her mess.
“There is no “i” in team, we round up the gang...and we beat it...together. there is no way i’m letting you do this alone, i don't care if my bounty hits the millions in that world. We made mistakes, but it's not too late to make up for it. When you are ready to go, i’ll be ready to go as well, as soon as i’m back from alternate standsten. But i’m with you naomi….and…. i forgive you…. apology accepted...were friends after all.” It was all water under the bridge, and Hyde wanted to remind naomi that she had people on her side.

| How good. Let me just pay that right now. *puts a leg and arm of questionable origin on the table* Hey, you never said they had to be mine. But, I guess you’re not as bad of a protagonist as I originally thought. I mean, you could be worse. Probably.
As if she would let up on him completely. Messing with him was fun in its own way.
In person? You trust me that much? I was expecting you to keep it as far from that as possible, considering how our meetings usually go. If you want to, that’s one thing, but I will warn you that I may still be a little bitter if we do. I’m much better at talking to some people when I can;t see their face. No offense. I’m working through it. It’s just… lot’s of memories and, well, you were there. You should know. I can though. Just… warning you.
She was a special type of person. The type that was much better online than with people. She thought she may be able to handle it, but she couldn't know until it happened.
Good thing you have faith. If you didn’t, we would have a problem. Not a small one either. As for all the others joining angels, I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what joining them will accomplish. I’m not even sure if they are good guys or not. All I know about them is that they exist. Pain in the butt they are. As long as we can stop this whole mess and they don't get in the way, I’m fine with them though. No happy about supernatural beings playing with humanity, but I will swallow my rage and deal with it.
I’m ready and willing to go any time. I just want to note that you should probably wear something to cover your face. I’m going to be doing the same. Don’t need more drama over Persona users, just in case they aren’t happy we took down this thing. Also… nevermind. Just tell me when you’re back.

| I'm starting to know how it feels to be a hero and all that. I have a red cape, but maybe your opinion about me will change if i start to wear red tights too, and ask Maria chan to be my trusty sidekick. XD ...if there was ever a day... i dont think you would take kindly to that >.<" Hyde was kidding though, he wouldn't do something like that, putting maria in danger was out of the question.
"WEll of course i would want to see you in person , there is alot that we would have to talk about....ok well maybe not much. But perhaps we can have an actual conversation that doesn't involve you getting angry and punching me this time around? I mean, that would definitely show some true progress right? I mean the real enemy is the giant robot... not me XD
Though i'm sure i have a ski mask i don't know if my hair can fit............. besides.... who wouldn't be happy that we don't take this ting down? They cant be that spiteful, can they? Also, that robot sounds dangerous...... but its your show Were the actors , and you're the maestro.....or is that for a band? "

| Please, for the love of all that is holy, don’t wear red tights. I think I would have to pour bleach in my eyes after seeing that, and I actually like being able to see. It’s a good sense to have. I guess I could learn to sense the world a different way. Maybe I could taste colors or smell shapes. That sounds like it would turn out well.
Still, it was probably better if he just didn’t do that.
I feel honored that you’d wish to see me. However, I have a feeling that we couldn’t have a conversation without punching you in the face. It’s like a tradition. But…. I suppose I can put it off until we take down the giant robot menace. I do have some sense of priorities. Not a very good sense, but it’s still there. That is, unless you are secretly a giant robot.
You never know. Just because we take down a robot doesn’t mean the storm will calm. That’s what they’re afraid of. If that’s the case, we can’t have people knowing who we are. It’s complicated. I’m just hoping this will give us some kind of clue how to prevent the world’s corruption. I’m not sure though. I can only pray. I’m just wondering what the last machine wants.

| Well alright, if you want to wait until we take the robot down, i'm game. I guess i got to see if i can raise my strength a bit more so i could get some cool moves. And no, i am not a giant robot. though...if i was part robot...i would definitely look into having an instant smoothie function. You'll never know when someone might be thirsty, right? " That would be a pretty random function for a robot to have, but it was still an amusing thought.
" By storm, you mean whoever or whatever the red storm is? That thing is one big mystery to me to be honest, all i really know about it is that it's just a calamity that befell the area. Did you find anything new about that as well?

| Don’t be a giant robot. I have a feeling you would be even more confusing if you were. I am just learning to deal with the current you. Please, no major twists. I think my brain would collapse if that happened. Also, water would be a better choice. Smoothies are nice in the heat, but humans need water to function. Unless you are an alien. Which, you may still be. I don’t know.
Yes, I mean the Red Storm. That’s the thing that causes the fall of Persona Users. However, it’s not just anybody. I told you I got some information from the event that released the last machine. That information would be the identity of the Red Storm. Her name is Helen, and I think she’s usually at the bar. You know, the one where you… yeah… I managed to find that out at least. Apparently, she and the last machine have a history together too. I wouldn't say it’s a friendly one though...

| Well i am from another world. Doesn't that kind of make me an alien to begin with? The only plus is that i look like you, pretty short of tentacles and things like that. But all of the weirdness included, didn't seem so bad at the start. " Besides the culture shock, nothing was completely different from Hyde's world and the world that he was currently in right now. He could never leave the island because it was on lock down, but he could travel freely and live a normal life here.
"Helen? Hm, never heard of this person at all. And yes i know, the bar where we sign up for pit fights apparently. Well, we know that the red storm is a person, who is a murderer of our kind, of people like us. The last machine is her enemy, isn't there a saying of the enemy of my enemy is my friend? When you sit back and look at the picture, what exactly is the threat here? I'm sorry, i'm a little confused, picking random fights without the results in the tend is what i'm trying to get rid of. If we take away helen's only enemy, does this mean that she will come to attack us while were weak in the end? I have a traesto gem, but who knows if ill need to use it soon....
Maybe this is the case of whats the worst of the two...

| I should get the National Inquirer on the phone. I’m sure they’d love to hear this story. We’ll even get some nice photos of you turning into your true form. Wait? You just look like us? Well, that’s no fun. I’ll have to add a few extra eyes for effect. We can leave out the tentacles though. I’m sure the only people that want those are fanatics and perverts. I personally find them creepy. Except on octopi. Those are too adorable to be creepy.
Of course you never heard of her. You were only there once. And just because your enemy has an enemy doesn’t make that enemy your friend. It just makes you temporary allies at best. I saw the video that predicted the last machine. It doesn’t seem friendly. Then again, neither does the Red Storm. Besides, maybe I just want to talk. Knock it out and try to understand what’s going on. I don’t want an senseless killing either. “she shall descend from above the monolith of our economy to take revenge on the Killer of Machines… Once the Red Storm arises, the last machine shall be lured down, and then the citizens will have nothing to fear. The Mistress of the Downtrodden's Drinks will prevail, and bring the world into the future...” That’s about what I can recall from what I uncovered. Based on that, I can’t tell who is the actual problem anymore.
Maybe I want to see them for myself. I want to know firsthand what the issue is and who the players are. I’m tired of everyone just telling me what I should know and telling me what to do with that information. I want to think for myself. I want to know… Also, I have one of those gems. I always keep at least one handy.
