| Rita took a glance at Sharaku. "Sorry for that, but I need to see just who I'm allying myself with here." A swirl of flames erupted from her right hand as her left one held her sword. Hou-ou simply stood by as his User crouched slightly down. Rita's eyes almost seemed to glow their naturally red color, but she wasn't using her skill, much the contrary.
"So be it." The silvernette stuck her right hand backwards, the flames contracting for a moment before exploding into a loud burst, pushing her forward several meters as she hopped half a meter into the air, letting the force of the blast carry her across seven full meters. As soon as she landed, the red-colored whip from before appeared in her right hand where the flames stood, as she swung it right near the ground, crossing thirteen meters in front of her and swiping at Angel's legs. Right afterwards, she'd jump forward once more, moving at least another meter before placing her sword in front of her, ready to take hits thrown at her. In the meanwhile, the whip retracted, disappearing for a brief second as it reappeared curled back in her hand."Let's rock, Angel! Even if I must use all my strength against you, I'll find just how well you fight!" As she spoke, Hou-ou moved to his left, keeping the same distance from Angel as she put between them but moving a total of 45 degrees when compared to where he was previously. Both him and Rita would be visible right now, but while Rita was only around 2 meters away, Hou-ou was 10. Perhaps she was setting up for something.

| Was this merely a test on Rita's part? She figured that Rita herself would fight as though she intended to kill. Regardless however, during the jump, Angel grew a white aura, and though it may have signaled a counterattack, all she did was take a simple jump to make her way over the whip. It definitely had range, but control and girth were lacking in that regard. During the jump, Angel would slam into the ground with her staff, Unleashing a pulse of bright light that looked more like a shockwave, spreading in a dome shape from the edges of her body outward, easily more than human height and spreading at a clip easily passing Rita and right at the distance of her Persona before dissipating. That second jump from Rita may prove to be fatal, as she did not continue the assault and would end up jumping straight into a blast of light that would spread past her. Regardless of the result, Angel would stand herself up, holding her staff in front of her, watching the young woman with her pure glow. "Good attempt. But I am rather certain you are better than that."- Rules:

| "..." Rita would jump past the light, which did make it so she took the hit, but even then, she continued her current chain. Hou-ou would just move slightly back to avoid the hit, since it was only going up to his position, the Persona himself responding on instinct as soon as Rita was hit. Though, he disappeared right away.
"You want my best? You'd get it... but I'm not looking for a real fight." The silvernette narrowed her eyes and exhaled with a somewhat animal-like growl, her sword's blade turning from crimson to silver. Since she was still 2 meters away, she'd simply take a step forward and immediately slash in front of her at Angel's chest, using her left hand that held her sword to swing from the top left to the bottom right, easily crossing enough distance since Rita's arm itself made up for the sword's length with the step Rita took. Right afterwards, she'd use her other leg, the one that didn't take a step, to immediately swing at Angel's leg again, and if that wasn't enough, her whip, held only by her right hand and still curled, would be drive at Angel's shoulder. This would all be done in a fluid motion, taking little more than just a second to pull off after Rita spoke. Part of Nero's power, but she wasn't done. As soon as that sequence was done, Rita'd take the swipe she made with her foot and turn it into a step on its own, using the balance from that to bring herself back onto her feet and unfurl the whip, swinging it again in front of her in a fan shape, at her arms' height. Even if Angel had managed to dodge to the back or to the side, the whip would get her right afterwards. One thing that wasn't possible with Rita now was outspeeding her when it came to these attacks, as her limbs moved faster than any other human's possibly could.
"Don't hold up just yet..." With that, a crimson-colored dress unfurled behind her, from it coming a flaming swipe coming at Angel if she decided to move to the side. Wherever side she decided to go to, this attack would follow it. It'd be done quickly, as soon as the whip slash was finished, and would be done again in a diagonal motion, aiming to cut Angel's shoulder all the way down to her hip. If Angel had moved to the left, this slash would come from upwards and to the left, and if she moved to the right, the slash would come from upwards and to the right.

| She was incredibly fast, but was she fast enough? A simple diagonal placement over her head in the direction of Rita's slash parried it, dropping her body at the time of the deflection and making a small swipe horizontally towards her attempted trip as she ducked under the curled whip punch. She would either be stopping and losing her balance, or she would have to face a little pain from the staff. No matter how fast her swings were, her powers would not extend to the rest of her body. However, the woman was still faster than her currently so she could not get away with anything extra. Either way, she would push her pole head on in between the silvernette's legs and swing right to her still standing leg, attempting to trip her and flooring her, because for all the balance you had, trying to stay standing after a pole smacks one legs holding you while another is swinging is rather difficult. Should the swing have worked then her previous attacks during would be all for naught. Either way, she would either twirl her staff towards her or pull it straight back into position, it diagonal towards her left side pointing down, given her blade was in her left hand. She had little to worry about in this position when it came to the whip. Once more, her Persona only seemed to attack if Angel moved, but what if she didn't move at all? She perhaps got lucky, being in this position, but she admired Rita in a way, both her abilities and her boldness.- Rules:

| With the strikes that came afterwards, Rita only closed her eyes, letting them come as they did. She was tripped, but from her hands, the weapons vanished, and Nero didn't even get to appear as she immediately put her hands down, using her weight to only hold herself up. Afterwards, Hou-ou would appear behind her, flapping his wings forward to place a gust of wind between the two, which would extend forward in a sort of hurricane, carrying Rita as it moved back with fairly fast speed. In this all, she kept her eyes closed, not even making an attempt to attack. Once she had traveled around 10 meters backwards, the hurricane dispersed, making the silvernette land on her feet."Yare yare dawa... that didn't take much effort at all. I'm satisfied with this spar." Standing only back at the place she started the fight in, Rita crossed her arms, keeping her eyes shut in a sort of relaxed state. She had found what she was looking for in this fight, and she didn't require her full power to do so. Slightly disappointing, but it was... satisfactory. Not the best she could have done in the least and she had a feeling the same could be said for Angel.

| She was rather disappointed that Rita had given up the challenge, but so be it. She tossed up her staff and it would vanish midair. "So, what now Rita? What do you plan to do next?" Angel stood quietly with her hands behind her back as she paid attention to the two. She glanced at Sharaku and nodded her head as though to acknowledge it was all over and done with. She was curious herself about what he could do, but as he said, he did not want to fight, and that was okay with her. | |

| Rita still kept her eyes closed for a few seconds more, humming a tune to herself. "I thought I already said that I was joining your cause regardless. I was satisfied, I got what I issued the challenge for, I have no more reason to stall it." Saying that, she opened her eyes, letting her red irises be displayed again. She could have found out more if she kept going, but to know what she was doing completely? Well, that was all she needed.
"Tonight, I'm going to try and find something that's been nagging at me for a while... but ultimately, your Wish is my Wish. Angel of the Waiting Room, Overseer of the Event, consider my sword yours." Stretching a hand out, Rita twirled her sword for a moment as it appeared, holding it in a back-handed fashion before putting it against the ground, not digging into it, but resting its tip on it nonetheless. It was a bit flashy, sure, but she needed to release some stress. As for the rest...
"Sharaku... I'm sorry I didn't tell you anything before I issued the challenge, but I had my reasons for doing it here and now. If push comes to shove, I may need to fight alongside Angel, and if I know her general style, I'll be able to cooperate more easily. Unlike you, seeing as I've already been to a few Alternate World expeditions with you, I don't believe Angel is capable of even leaving the Waiting Room. Am I wrong?" That last question was directed at Angel, but Rita relaxed slightly. She was still shaken, but if nothing else, that battle also served to release some pent-up aggression in her... it was a good stress reliever, to say the least. Aside from that, she just hoped they both understood her reasoning, as Hou-ou once again perched himself on Rita's shoulder, curling up and rubbing its beak on his User's face. That, strangely, earned him a very brief chuckle before Rita returned to a more neutral expression.

| Well, for all that halo over it, that fight sure didn't last long. Sharaku would sigh as he got up, walking over to the two. ''How flashy.'', he would remark, glancing between the two for a little while. Well, at least he didn't waste too much time here. He could have left yes, but that would make coming here worthless in the first place. Since he already took the effort to come, might as well stay until the end. As much as he still sort of dissapproved of Rita's actions. For how much she was trying to make a team, she was goofing off on her own quite a lot. Back at the meeting, she didn't want to talk about Penecia with the rest. Now she just ran off here, and proceeded to even pick a fight and all, ignoring him most of the time. So much for having her reasons. But if she wanted to do her own mysterious actions on a whim, then why put together a team? Teamwork was based on trust, was it not? Yet she was acting on her own, without anyone knowing. The only reason he did...was because he came after her. Otherwise, no one would have known she decided to go for a solo visit and join an Angel like that. Of course, he knew not everything could be planned...but she gave off the vibe that she was the type to do her own thing more than wait for a team. That kind of running off was what got Hyde into trouble back then. Ah well. It wasn't really a problem for him. He wasn't much of a teamplayer himself. He knew that well. He prefered to be where it was necessary, than stick to one herd like a good sheep. It wouldn't help him any, really. It was easier to observe when you had more ways to go, rather than one team which you had to wait for.
''Well, I do agree with that. Though, I have a question. Is joining an Angel permanent? What happens..if for example someone joined one before meeting all, and then wanted to change their mind later once they knew more? Is that possible? Not that I have any interest in the rest. I just want to know.'' He had been wondering about that before. He was pretty sure no one had met all Angels yet, still Oki for example was already devoted to the San Malarus Angel. Didn't seem it would change its mind...but someone else in a similar position could. Was it possible to break the contract, or whatever it was? He didn't particularly care, as he had no interest in the other Angels with what they were for. Then again, there could always be a reason to go off on your own. Even though it seemed like a bad idea if an Angel's power was needed to truly defeat the Primordials.
He would frown at Rita briefly. ''I am still not exactly happy with your actions. You started getting together a team..and then you go running off on your own. If I hadn't followed, I wouldn't have known either. If you want to take your own stage, then why gather people? You seem to me, like you'd rather work alone most of the time.'', he would state with a light shrug. ''Hm? I thought you yourself said you saw Angel at the gym incident. Oki claimed seeing her too. Why wouldn't she be able to go out then..?'', he'd inquire with a raised eyebrow, looking from Rita to the Angel. Why..was Rita even asking? If she had been sighted outside before...then, it would logically mean she was capable of leaving this room. Unless she used a doppleganger. In any case, he would wait to hear what the Angel had to say. He would go along for now.

| Angel tilted her head in an embarrassed smile when she knelt to her, not exactly sure what to say. She figured she was interested in joining her, but she had to think on this. "If you simply wish to work in my name without my blessing you are free to do so. I will not ask you to join my Wish. On that note, an alliance does not have to be permanent. We cannot fault you if you change sides because of how you feel." She remained silent when Rita asked her question regarding her parameters. "I can walk out in the courtyard for brief intervals, but that is the extent of my range here." | |

| "However flashy, it doesn't matter." Rita simply shrugged to that comment. She was serious in what she was saying. Seeing as Sharaku's next question was answered, though, Rita found no need to answer, though she nodded, understanding. Angel seemed to misunderstand her, though, Rita had already agreed to join her Wish for a while now.
"That wasn't my goal. The world you're building appeals to me, and I wish to make it come true as well. Is that not good enough for me to join you?" Simply, Rita didn't exactly want anything else. No matter how Angel saw it, this Wish itself defied the Event in some aspect, which was exactly what the silvernette was trying to do. This was a means for both of them to achieve what they wanted, since Rita was sure she'd want no other world to come from this.
"Sharaku, didn't we agree in our meeting that we'd run our own investigations? This was an event I'd have told you guys about in our next meeting, purely and simply. We have the liberty of working solo for the sake of the team, isn't that what you wanted? I'm not like your old teammates, Sharaku. Even if I'd rather work alone most of the time, my actions are for the sake of everyone. This is information I'm gathering." Letting her sword vanish, she approached Angel with an easy face, bearing a light if not somewhat cocky smile. "When I met her at the gym, this wasn't the Waiting Room yet, now was it? I had my reasons for assuming, and they turned out to be right. This really was the only way for me to get what I came for." The silvernette chuckled slightly, putting a hand on her hip. She was satisfied, but maybe not fully, there was more she wanted to see from Angel, but that had to be left for later on, she had business to go through right now.
"Now then, are we clear? Angel, my Wish is your Wish, that's the conclusion I've come to." Saying that, Rita extended a hand forward as if asking for a handshake. "Despite the despair I feel, I know this path is the right one for me. You're not forcing me to join you, after all. Even before the spar, I knew this was the path I wanted to take." Would that be enough? She hoped so, at the very least. It wasn't like there was anything else that could actually appeal to her as much as this world... it had its flaws, sure, but then again, so did all other worlds. No world would be perfect, no world would make absolutely everyone happy at the same time. But you know what? In this world, their world, everyone had the chance to be happy, at some time or another, and that wouldn't change.

| Tsk. Sharaku would roll his eyes slightly. What's got her so standoffish? She was being way too uptight lately. Ever since the meeting. Sure, he had his moments of utmost seriousness too, but there was no need to shrug off everything else just because you felt like being all business. ''Doesn't matter. Somehow, I should have expected that kind of answer. You should stop being so serious and uptight for a while. It's not really enjoyable when you do that.'' For some reason, it sort of irritated him when she acted that way. Can't he even say something that isn't exactly to point without being dismissed in some way? This time, it didn't matter, at the meeting, she forcefully shut them up just because the talk went off the topic a bit, as if they couldn't even handle it themselves. Adding to that, she pretty much ignored him most of this talk until it came to her that she should apologize for starting a fight without even taking note that he was here as well. Not very funny by this point.
He would huff. ''Sort of, yes. But I'm debating whether that is of any use. This itself is one of the reasons my old team started falling apart. People did their own things outside of teamwork. Then the rest learned of it..and it went down. Just like when Naomi started hating Hyde when he did his thing. He was technically investigating on his own too, no?'', he would shake his head. ''And honestly...it's not even a team then, in my opinion. It's more like having people around you for convenience. So you can have someone to exchange information with. If we all investigate separately, then we aren't really a team. You can't even guarantee we'll all be free when you want a meeting, since each 'member' may just be doing their investigations at the time. I don't see us meeting up that often at all. Not much of a team in the end. Though, I don't particularly care. I've just been thinking and felt like pointing that out.'', he would add with a light shrug. It was honestly up to Rita. And other than that...there was the thing about her not wanting to allow personal discussions during a meet. Do it individually, right. How would they learn to work together as a group correctly then? If they were to always solve any problem individually? He wasn't following. Then again, he knew he wouldn't loyally stick to one group like glue anyway, so maybe it wasn't his problem in the end. He figured that much by now.
That being said, he would focus back on the main matter of this...whatever it was by now. He saw no reason to say anything to Rita's comment on the Waiting room and things. He didn't want to pick something with her right now. Not more than he already had. ''Wouldn't..that be a little pointless? Following an Angel, but not taking a blessing. If you already choose to ally, then why do it halfway?'', he would comment languidly. The idea simply seemed to be a waste. Once you already decided, then there was little point in half-assing it. In any case, he would take in mind as Angel answered the question he asked. Alright then. Well, that both made the situation better...and possibly worse. If people could change alliances, then it could cause some unbalances quick. On the other hand, it meant...one could always persuade someone to switch Angels, and gather more power that way. So complicated.
He would sigh lightly. Honestly, he didn't even feel like speaking up much, with how Rita was just taking the spotlight anyway. ''Are we going to go in circles for much longer? I thought we already agreed on this...'' That, and he didn't want to listen to this forever. He heard how Rita wanted this enough times by now.

| Angel watched the two have their argument. It looked like one was ready to join her, but she was being pulled into an issue that regards a team. "You must have more than yourself willing to fight for you. If one of you is not interested, then perhaps you should leave, or perhaps both of you should discuss it. One person alone will not be granted their Wish even if others have joined. If they are not with you, then it cannot be done. Are you a team, or are you not?" She was not going to grant any kind of boon if the two planned on arguing. Sharaku definitely had a point with his argument. "I am not opposed to you having similar views but not acting with us. Angels are rather restricting to some humans no? Now. If you are joining, step forward, and if not, you may leave. I want a decisive answer." She held her hand out. She would not grant the blessing to Rita if Sharaku did not want one and did not leave, and vice versa. One had to leave, or both of them had to join. | |

| "Sorry, I guess... I don't exactly notice when I get like that, it's second nature to me..." Rita brought her hand back and closed her eyes, frowning, then brought it up to her chin to ponder something. "You're almost right, but there's a big difference, if what you've told me is right. While Hyde went to investigate something someone else had already said they were going to investigate, I'm steering completely clear of the Alternate Worlds to avoid something similar. And frankly, it isn't like you'd have been completely in the dark, so I see no point in even asking this." The silvernette sighed. If Sharaku continued this argument, this would be a long day indeed... especially since Angel didn't want to give them the blessing unless they stopped.
"You and I have very different interpretations of what a team is. I take the group project approach, with everyone doing what they're best at and then combining the work at the end to achieve something. Well... I guess that'd be a new notion to you. But still..." She was almost restless, her eyes showing some kind of uneasiness. "Sharaku, I already told you, you're one of the people I trust most. Can you trust me back? Believe me when I tell you all that I did was to get to a higher goal, bring us closer to our objective. All of us. Rin and Oki-san too would benefit from this, that's why I came here..." Rita shook her head, frowning deeply, then turned to Angel. Her eyes were still somewhat uneasy, but she herself appeared to have nothing more to say.
"I'm tired of saying it too many times. This Wish is the one I want to follow, no other. I'm not leaving. That's all." Really... the silvernette wished Sharaku would come with her as well. She still enjoyed being around him, even if they had some squabbles, but she noticed still that they kept being similar in their sort of... style, she guessed. Even with differing opinions, both of them kept up the same pace, in a way. But that was really what came about from teamwork. There were differences, and there were ways to go about overcoming them if they were too heavy to work together correctly. Sharaku wasn't wrong, Rita still enjoyed working alone most of the time, just as he did, but that's why she pushed for the freedom she wanted in the team. Maybe it wasn't obvious enough... but Rita did all that she did simply for everyone. Regardless of who they were following, regardless of whether she liked them or not. That's why she hadn't even bothered to ask who else was following Angel... it didn't matter to her, it never mattered to her.

| Well, she had her own point. It was true that Hyde went directly against what had been decided on. And Sharaku wouldn't deny that it probably played its part in the result quite a bit. Yet...even if that was not the case, and Naomi had not declared she was dealing with that world beforehand..he couldn't see the rest approving of that action easily. Hyde still did something he could have avoided, had he not rushed forth without thinking about it properly. For all intents and purposes, it didn't have to happen at all, if he had been more cautious, whether he knew it was not his place to explore or not. Who was to say something like that couldn't happen here too? And not meddling with the worlds at all just to keep it peaceful like Rita wants to do..is not really an answer either. Sometimes you need to act. What is important..is to know what is appropriate enough and when. ''You may want to steer clear of them, but sometimes you might need to act anyway. It's not an answer either. Though, I see your point. Yet, I think it would have blown up regardless of whether Hyde went against what had been said or not. Maybe just a little less if he didn't know at all. The problem was that he did not think once he was there. It didn't have to happen at all even though he went. You can't guarantee what each person chooses to do on their investigations afterall.'', he would shrug lightly. In the end, there was probably no answer. Whatever approach you chose, it had some flaws. The question would be...which is the one with the most profit?
''It's not really new. I just find it a bit jumpy at times. It may become problematic. Oki is already allied with an Angel. If we all go with a different one, how long will an alliance last?'' It was questionable on that front. Angels opposed one another. Assuming they split up in joining them, would a team work? He wasn't sure how much would doing this benefit Oki for example. It could always cause some strife. Though, many things could anyway. ''I'm not trying to argue though. It's your call as to what you do. I'm just saying what I think. As for trust..I can't really answer that. If you want to know, we can speak of that later, seeing as there is no time for it now.'' Trust was a complicated topic when it concerned him, and they had other things to deal with right now.
He would turn back to Angel. ''Does being a team matter? I doubt all people under one Angel work together anyway.'' Unless a miracle happens. He and Rita could be enemies and still join the same Angel, technically. For whatever reasons. He would huff faintly. ''If I had no interest, I would have left the moment you started fighting. I wasn't aware we needed to spell it out ten times.'', he would shrug moving to stand next to Rita, since she was in the way regardless. ''I'm not going anywhere. It's fine with me. We are being restricted everywhere already, so it can't get any worse with this.'' And if it did, it was still possible to work it out somehow. As far as quitting. She did say it could be done. Though, he wasn't thinking that far ahead yet. Besides, they needed the power to defeat Primordials, and he sure wasn't going to go with the other Angels. This was the only option he agreed with enough.

| Angel lightly smirked at Sharaku's comment. "I think you fundamentally misunderstand what being a team truly is, both of you in fact." That being said, she would grab each of their arms in turn, which sent a warm feeling through the tips of their fingers straight to their heads, calming any inner turmoil they may have had prior. It was as though they felt a little more peaceful, not altered in personality, but something influencing to a degree how they felt. They both had a blurred vision of wings, and a blue-eyed woman with longer hair standing right in front of them during the sensation. It would not last too long before she would let go of each of their hands in turn, before taking a step back. "Anything feel better with you all? This power certainly has its perks, being able to calm or inflame someone on the inside without brainwashing. Certainly an interesting feature to being an Angel."
- Rita and Sharaku Receive:
New Strength:
Name: The Aura of Angel Description: Wielding the essence of Angel in their bodies, they become serene and attuned to the calm natures around them. While it does not give them any specific benefits, it raises all of their battle stats by 7%. When using their unique abilities (Fusion Skill, Last Life, Overdose, etc.), they glow a golden aura. Their supernatural Other also has a silver aura when not using said skill.
Your Persona and Shadow have embraced the power of Angel. You can remake it in her image, or you can leave it as is. You may also rework your stats and skills up to this point.
