Beliefs that linger [Blaez]

After the meeting with the team and the deal which followed Nagisa had a lot to think about. However, one thing in particular bothered her the most: Blaez's behavior. Why did he decide to leave like that without any explanation, what the hell was going on? Did he do something that had offended Angel or there was more about that thing that attacked his mind than he told her. When she returned home she found him at the very least she didn't have to search for him. Nagisa made sure that the two of them were alone when she spoke. "It was nice of you to leave us during the meeting, so much for the talk we had when we moved in. I know that the team has it's differences, trust me the meeting with Angel made that clear to everyone but you and me are supposed to be a team. I don't care about the others leaving but that move really hurt me. That's why I expect an explanation for all this and it better be a good one or else you are going to see how I look like when I'm mad." Nagisa threatened Blaez without even giving him a minute to greet her. All this time she knew him Nagisa felt serene around him yet now she was unable to even control the sound of her voice.

Finally, he had time alone to rest for a while, without any bothering him... but that wouldn't last, Nagisa would enter the room he was in and start talking, she didn't even greeted him, she just went straight to the point and complained about how he left the ranger's meeting without saying anything, he never saw Nagisa mad like that... actually he never saw her mad at someone or something.

"...I don't agree with Jack."It was the truth, he didn't agreed with what Jack wanted, but he wasn't going to the her the details, everyone has their secrets"Is there a problem with that?"He asked calmly, raising his voice would just make Nagisa even more angry than she already is... Why she was angry was beyond his comprehension, technically he did nothing wrong.

"That's the problem. You say you disagree but you're not saying why. The angel only helped us how can you disagree with that?" Nagisa protested before she sat on a chair near Blaez. She took a deep breath and lowered her head to face the floor instead of Blaez. "It didn't bother me the fact you left but I was hurt because you didn't offer any explanation about it. Why Blaez? Why do you think making a deal with Angel is such a bad idea? She seems to be in our side for the moment and we are going to need all the help we can get if we hope to defeat Thesis." She added in a more calm tone, the deep breaths had helped her calm down a bit however she still wanted to scream, Nagisa couldn't remember the last time she was this furious.

"I said i disagree with Jack, not the angel, the angel herself thinks humans should come up with their own wish, and Jack did, but i don't agree with his reasons... It's too idealized... Besides, there are other angels out there, they also have something to offer, we can't count them out yet."What a pain... He just wanted that talk to be over, he knew that joining different angels would mean that they were in different sides, but they would discover that sooner or later, they just had to ask Miss Divine, which they probably didn't.

"So there you have it, satisfied?"He would lean forward and wait for her reaction.

Nagisa narrowed her eyes as she thought about Blaez's response "You know something we don't, do you? What is that talk about other angels? For all we know they might be hostile or maybe they have perished. Miss Divine seem to worry about their intentions as well. Not that I care for her agenda that much but I too need power and so far she's the only only who would offer me a boost. It's not wise to toss such a chance away." Nagisa paused as she stood from her seat. "Unless... you already have made your own dealings. Perhaps you met an another angel in one of Jack's expeditions or in one of your own. That would certainly explain this Kazuya's weird behavior" She had already began running scenarios in her head. She knew that there was always the possibility Blaez joining another angel but she thought that she would be able to persuade him otherwise.

"...What a pain... of course she would say the others might be hostile, maybe it's convenient for her to tell you the other angels are hostile or dead, did you considered that?"He would sigh out of annoyance, this conversation was just dragging on and on... He just wanted a short break, was that asking too much?Well, complaining wouldn't make it happen...

"Eh?"She was getting suspicious about him, damn it, he should have not told her about his expedition with Charles"Maybe Kazuya is just weird on a daily basis. He actually plays along with the whole ranger thing so i wouldn't be surprised."He would shrug.

"Blaez..." Nagisa said as she crossed her arms leering at him. It was clear that his words haven't convinced her nor had they helped her calm down, instead Nagisa seemed as upset as she was when she entered the room. "I believe you know me well enough to realize that I'm not an idiot. Kazuya was hiding something and so do you. I demand to know the truth! We are supposed to share a bond or am I simply having a delusion?" She added without breaking the eye contract.

"Please, Blaez, tell me what are you hiding from me? What is so important and requires so much secretive? You know awfully a lot about angels and trust me I have already made many nasty scenarios in my mind."

"I investigated on my own, instead of relying in one person to tell me everything, you know, to avoid being fooled..."Honestly Blaez didn't had that many sources of information, but Nagisa was already testing his patience"Will you drop it now?This is getting annoying..."He'd glare at her, if she would try to question him any further, he wouldn't be so patient anymore.

"Now... is there anything else you would like to discuss, or was that all?"Blaez tone was neutral, Nagisa annoyed him a little bit with her interrogation, Blaez wasn't going to change his tone with her so soon.

"So you investigated and decided to keep the information for yourself? I'm sorry Blaex but this...this is not logical no matter how you look at it. Unless...you found something about the angels that you don't want to share with me, or any other from the team for that matter." Nagisa replied not willing to back down. "We can't be together if you can't share something so important with me, do you not trust me?" She added. At that point Nagisa was certain that Blaez had done something regarding the angels, did he join forces with another angel or did he found out something about Miss Divine and was unwilling to share. Whichever was the case Nagisa wasn't going too give up until he confessed.

She was not going to drop it... honestly he was holding his ground to not flip her off, she probably had her secrets too, so why bother him so much to make him speak... he could just leave and put an end to that... The only thing that leaving that moment would accomplish was making Nagisa even more angry"Just drop it, this conversation is over."He'd glare at her, Blaez looked serious, if she insisted on that topic he was really doing it.

Nagisa wanted to push on, she even opened her mouth to speak but Blaez's glare stopped her. "Fine! You want me to drop it then I will but know this, I have never hidden anything from you...I just expected the same treatment from you but I guess this was too much to ask." Nagisa felt a little guilty for using that card against him since she wasn't exactly honest about her sex but that didn't mean Blaez should be so secretive about it, she respected him not talking much about his family and his past but this was too much. "Just know this, our talk is not over yet. We'll talk again when you will be in a more honest mood." She said before she left the room slamming the door behind her.
