| The Comet Arrives | A New Journey Begins... | Caestus woke up, lying on the ground in some... unknown location... How or why he had gotten there was beyond him. The last thing he remembered was arriving at Ueitawa, meeting with his handler, Shizuki, for a briefing in Nokawia... The trip there wasn't overly long. He had flown from Rhode Island after finishing his mission there. The job had seemed simple back then. Get to Ueitawa, quell the Shadows and restore peace to the region... It was now though, that the machine had realised the magnitude of the problem at hand... His persona had been sealed as well... Troublesome... Why did SE.RA.PH Industries start this new, annoying habit of theirs to seal the persona before the briefing... Maybe it was due to the Mark VIII's rebellion against his creators? The Unit stood up after a short while, exploring his surroundings. What was this place? It certainly wasn't the Nokawia he remembered... Oh well... His body felt a bit stiff as he was moving around. "How long was I out?"
It had seemed like a short amount of time at first... If time had even passed at all... It was strange really. After exploring his surroundings, Caestus finally called out. "Hello? Anyone there?" His voice echoed throught the empty area... Would someone hear him? Somehow, he doubted it. That would just be way too convenient. He would have to figure things out on his own... Again... At least, he had gotten used to this by now. Once a lone wolf, always a lone wolf... Or at least, that's what Shizuka had told him... | |

| The tower, it was related to the moment that froze time, it was related to everything going on in her life at this very moment. With the search for Soki leading her to this exact place, a place where people are still moving and searching for an answer to this problem, while others searched for a way to summon a god. Everything was rather scrambled, especially since now Shi had been thrown into the mix just by stepping foot in the courtyard of this tower. She had been exploring the outside a bit, getting a feel for it you could say. She had walked around in a circle four times, looking at almost the same spots again and again, but the fifth time she went around, she saw something different. There was a boy made of metal propped up against a tree, as if someone had just placed him there moments ago. Shi would quickly make her way over to a tree nearby, watching him from behind said tree, examining him. He eventually awoke and stood upwards, yelling for anyone, to which she would come out of her hiding place and cautiously make her way over to him. "My, my this place is getting crowded indeed. And what might be your name, robotic man?" | |

| Ugh... who was this person? Shizuka? No... It was someone else. Speaking of Shizuka... Where were she at? The last thing he could remember was meeting her in Nokawia, at that buss stop... He scratched his head. Why couldn't he remember what happened after that? It was like... there was a huge gap in time from when he had met her and now. And what was the deal with this huge tower anyway? Caestus couldn't make any heads or tails of his current predicament. Right now... He needed to find Shizuka, wherever she may be! He just had to! He had this... unknown desire to find her... What was going on here?
"My name is not important..." He answered the girl stiffly. What was she doing here? Was she a threat or not? Whatever the case may be, he needed answers, and he needed them now! "Where are we?" Caestus asked the stranger. "Have you seen a brunette run through here?" Not that he expected much, but he was desparate at this point. His handler was missing... and with all this happening right now, securing her saftey was his top priority. And seeing as this girl was the first person he had met here so far.... Where there more people around? Who knows... | |
