Possum in the wild? [ Froger]

Iscariot felt oddly satisfied for helping the new student known as Raian and the male with the possum. Her objective for going to the library had only changed slightly as she know found herself very interested in Possums. Before walking into the library she looked down at herself and a ping in her mind went off. Looking around she changed from her default setting and her body's "skin" transformed. Iscariot was now wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, a white short sleeved shirt with the words " Run It " in red lettering, and on her feet a pair of black sneakers. Her hair began to untie itself from the two braids and the piece that held them together instead turn into two hair clips that held her bangs back. She felt that this was appropriate as the words from both Blaez and Jack Jack rang in her head.

Walking into the library she soon made her way across the many books until she found some on possums. Pulling them off the shelf Iscariot took a seat and began researching. She felt much more relaxed when reading and found herself blocking out the world as the words filled her memory banks.

After guiding Raian over to the dorms, Charles made his way back to the first floor of the school. He hadn't been paying any attention to the glaring stares of students around him who either felt intrigued or grossed out by the live possum which dangled, cuddled around his neck. Luckily, there weren't any teachers around to raise a fuss over it.

After a few minutes he reached the library. Pushing the door open, Charles found himself in a room filled with books and students, so many that he couldn't locate Iscariot from the start. When he finally found her, he frowned out of surprise as she was wearing a different outfit from before. Did she change? She wouldn't have had the time to get to the dorms and he didn't see her holding a bag of any sorts earlier. He walked over and sat on a chair on the opposite side of the table from her, while Gao jumped to the table and skittled over to Iscariot, sniffing one of her hands. "Greetings." Charles sat straight in his chair, eyeing the book the girl was reading. It was... about possums, huh. No wonder Gao took a liking to her.

Iscariot was nearing the end of her first book when a familiar face drew her eyes from that page and in it's direction. It was the possum from before and without even having to hear the voice Iscariot looked up only to be greeted by Charles. Lifting her head from the book but opening her hand in a welcoming manner to the possum she returned with a greeting of her own. " Hello, so you decided to come....Quite an interesting companion you have with you." Her crystalline blue eyes looked from the possum back to Charles. It was a statement open to answer and Iscariot closed the book in front of her to give Charles her attention.

Gao licked one of Iscariot's fingers before dashing back to Charles. She seemed rather unnerved... no, excited. She skipped into Charles's lap before jumping to tha floor and hopping into Iscariot's. She settled in the girl's lap and closed her eyes.

Charles, on the other hand, never let his eyes slip off the girl sitting in front of him. He had to be careful, who knew what could happen. He glanced over at the book. "Would you mind letting me see?" He asked, carefully picking his words. He wasn't going to outright bombard her with questions. No, he rather took the slow but safe path in which he was sure of his supremacy and, therefore, control.

Moving her gaze from Charles to the possum she tilted her head ever so slightly when she saw the creature lick her. Her gaze continued to follow the possum until Iscariot found herself looking in her lap. Blinking she slowly and carefully ran her fingers delicately over the soft, warm creature. It was another first for Iscariot and she found that she enjoyed it greatly. "Would you mind letting me see?" Shifting her eyes towards Charles she nodded her head and pushed the book to him, continuing to stroke the possum in her lap. The book was a simple one that gave details on what a possum was and everything one would know on the surface about what a possum was and fun facts about them, filled with images and the like." I never got the name...Of this possum. What's her name? " After doing that bit of research Iscariot found out the possum was in fact a female, and one with child too. This only made Iscariot more interested in the duo.

Charles accepted the book with a nod and began glancing through it. He hadn't noticed anything he did not know yet so he closed the book rather quickly. There was no point in reading any more of it. He slid the book across the table back to Iscariot, only then noticing how Gao has settled in her lap and now had a blissful expression on her face as the girl's hand slid across the hair on her back. "Her name is Gao. It was not my idea, but she seems content with it." He paused, waiting for an reply before continuing. "She has taken a liking to you."
