Trance (Nilo, Ryusaki)

Subject: Trance (Nilo, Ryusaki) Mon Feb 23, 2015 3:04 pm

It was like any normal day on San Malarus, bustling with people going from home to home, shop to shop, place to place. The people seemed to blur together in an tangent of color and noise. It was blinding and deafening to some, but to the white haired boy, it was perfectly normal.

Nilo sat down on a bench, his book on his lap as he wrote. He looked into the crowd, picking out specific people to write about. His hand glided over the page, pencil in hand, writing multiple words in a quick blur. His quiet composure made it strange for people to approach him, some people giving him a raised eye before continuing on. He gave them no mind though, all of his attention on his book and writing.

Many peoples daily routines consist of only three things: eat, sleep and either school or work. But nobody takes the time out of that routine to go and enjoy something they they like to do. Ryusaki is an exempt to that. Every day he takes time out of his schedule to take a thirty minute jog through San Malarus, today is no different.

About fifteen minutes in since he first started today's run, he decides it would be the best time to take a water break. Passing the crowds of people and going to the nearest bench he could get to. He sets himself down onto the bench and opens the bottle of water, taking a few sips of the water before getting himself comfortable with bench.

The boy continued his writing, looking up for a brief moment at the crowd. He didn't quite know why he had decided to come here today, after all, he preferred the quiet park near his home over the bustling streets. But today, he felt more adventuress that normal, perking up his bravery to go and do something exciting... Or to the boy this was exciting...

He looked up though, glancing over at the person who sat next to him. He seemed older to the pale boy, wondering why he had chose to sit next to him. Actually, to be fare, did he even notice his presence. The boy analyzed him from the other side of the bench, his red eyes looking him over carefully. He stayed that for a while before realizing how odd he must seem, sighing before returning to writing in his book, hoping he didn't his oddness and stare.

In fact the older boy didn't notice the younger ones presence, he chose the closest bench he could find. After finishing his drink he glances to the side of him, noticing that a younger boy was staring at him. Seconds later the younger boy dropped back into his notebook and started to write. This was odd for Ryusaki, not many people stared at him or started writing about him. Hey, maybe if this keeps up he might become famous one day! But with those thoughts aside he thought it was best to ask the younger boy directly. Ryusaki directly faces the other boy "H.. Hey, what are you writing?"

The pale boy continued writing, not really sure what he was writing now. He stopped and looked over his words, realizing he was spouting gibberish in his precious book. He sighed and began erasing the words, looking up at the boy as he asked his question. He was rarely asked on what he was writing, actually, Hyde was probably the first person to do so. He thought for a moment of what he was going to say, glancing back down to his book.

"... Right now I'm erasing gibberish..." he stated slowly before blinking, looking up at the boy. "Sorry for staring." he apologized quickly before returning to his book, continuing his erasing.

"No... No it is alright." Ryusaki said. As the boy put himself back into the book he glances around, he doesn't want to leave this conversation in an awkward silence. He thinks of a few things to think before saying "Uh... My name is Ryusaki... Um, what is yours?" He puts a nice big smile onto his face after he spoke.

The boy stayed silent, looking up at the boy as he smiled. He wasn't used to this treatment from strangers, but he should probably get used to it, seeing as most people where outgoing and friendly now a days. He looked down at his book, taking a strand of thought and beginning to write it down. He looked up after his writing was done though, twirling his pencil in hand before speaking.

"My name is Nilo. It is a pleasure to meet you." he responded with a polite smile, returning to his writing after that. "So what brought you to San Malarus today?" he asked whilst writing.

Ryusaki scratches the back of his head "Right now I am in the middle of my daily training, I need to get better for next season Track and Field." His eyes goes to look Nilo's notebook, watching him erase the words off of the pages. He then looks back at Nilo "Do you go to Zela Academy? You don't look much younger than me and it is the only school that is here so.." He then shuts his mouth before he talks too much.

Nilo continued to listen to the slightly older than he boy, a smile crossing his lips. He seemed odd, but not overly so, and nice, traits seeming to be carried by many native to Azores. He continued his writing for a little while longer before twirling his pencil in hand, thinking of a response.

"So you're athletic? That's interesting, do you run often?" he asked before answering the boy's question. "Yes, I go to Zela Academy... I even have a dorm there, though I rarely stay there." he stated, slowing his writing down to think on how to continue his sentence in a logical fashion.

"So, how about you? Do you live at the dorms?" he asked curiously, returning to his quick pace of writing.

"Yes, I am a Junior at Zela and also have a room at the dorms." Ryusaki notices that his glasses are about to slip off, he takes them off and starts wiping them with his shirt, trying to get all the dirt off of the lenses. He puts them back on and his attention goes back to Nilo who is still writing "And yes, I have been doing track and field for a few years now, I am not the best at it but I do try my hardest."

The boy nodded and continues his writing, finally closing his book after reaching the end of the page. He looked over to Ryusaki, tilting his head to the side at his last comment. He was curious towards his words, mulling them over before speaking.

"Well, you obviously aren't with that attitude." he said with a twirl of his pencil, smiling lightly. "Have more faith in your self. You've been doing track for years, you're obviously well qualified with that amount of training." he said politely, tapping the pencil against his chin.

"Bu-" He stops right in the middle of his own word. Nilo's statement shook him a little. What Nilo said was true, with that attitude he would not get better, and Ryusaki knows it. But he decides to erase the thought from his mind. "S- so Nilo, are you apart of any clubs?" His voice a little shaky from the start but it quickly turned back to his normal tone. He shouldn't think about that right now, possibly at a later time.

The boy twirled his pencil again, looking down at his closed book, tapping the eraser on it lightly. He felt a little bad for being so forward with the boy, something he was only now doing. He sighed before thinking of an appropriate apology before listening to Ryusaki's question. He smiled lightly and opened up his book; the pages filled with words.

"If it wasn't obvious, I'm in the Literature Club..." he said before pausing, tapping the pencil a few more times. "Although I wouldn't mind joining a journalism club if they have it... I've been more interested in what other people have to say and would enjoy finding things out about them." he said with a nod of his head before closing his book again.

Ryusaki nods slowly at Nilo. The younger boy seems interesting and friendly enough, possibly in the future they can become good friends but for now it is getting late. He looks to the streets and the many people passing by them, slowly sighing. "Hey Nilo, it was great talking to you, but it is getting pretty late. How about we do something else some time?" He gets up from the bench and does a smile, reaching out his hand for Nilo to shake.

The boy looked up at Ryusaki and nodded his head, standing up after him. He looked into the crowd with a sigh, trying his hardest to find a way to enter the fray. He shook his hand though, nodding his head again with a polite smile.

"If all else fails, we'll meet again at school." he said politely. "I look forward to you becoming more confident, understood?" he said before joining the fray of the crowd, waving to Ryusaki before hand.
