| The boy blinked in amazement, he and the maiden had hit their target with deadly procession. The maiden's humming grew into a very pleased tone and the boy was proud of himself as well. It was almost unimaginable to him that he held such power... But, was it his self righteous thoughts that became his down fall. He was blissfully unaware of Charles's actions at the result of the one bathed in Light's dance. He didn't notice Charle's attack towards Blaez, and while his focus was on the one bathed in fire, Charles had advanced on him...
The boy cried out in pain due to the attack, falling over to his side in less that a second. Tears streamed from his eyes... He had never felt so much pain in his entire life... It hurt to breath... To think... The maiden had gone silent; her humming, if any, was barely audible, pain crying out from within her. They couldn't see straight as there vision blurred... They where both again blissfully unaware at the Keeper's dance... Kazuya was the next to be affected... He had advanced on the boy cringing on the floor, barely acknowledging his presence.
The boy slowly raised his gaze up to Kazuya, a pained look across his face. What was he doing? It slowly dawned on him as Kazuya readied himself for the attack. The boy's eyes went wide as he tried to shield himself from the attack, a cry escaping him. It didn't matter though... The boy soon felt the wooden sticks strike his body, causing him to cry out in more pain.
He struggled to keep consciousness... Tears streaming down his face... Fear and terror in his eyes... The maiden had grown deathly silent... His eyes grew heavy... Darkness soon devoured him entirely... There was no more sound... No more sight... No more anything... There was only one thought that slipped through his mind... His mother's words to him that day he had woken up from his failed suicide...
His still body laying upon the hot dessert sand in obvious agony. The shadows would be able to easily devour him now, the same could be said to his allies. What would happen to the pale boy and the maiden that resided within him? Only time would tell... His fate was in the hands of his allies... What would happen...? What would become if the boy...? No one but fate would tell... And that was truly terrifying... | |

| As they spoke, the presence of the voice grew stronger, and the dunes behind the foes were piling up. "I see.....so that is how this test ends..." the voice said deeply. A reddish aura glowed from behind the remaining enemies; clearly something was building, but it had not appeared yet. The foes still seemed to be keeping them occupied, until whoever summoned them made their entrance. | |

| Charles suddenly regained conciousness... Next to him, however, laid Nilo, seemingly unconcious. What... happened? He could remember some pictures from that time, but they were scattered randomly like half-forgotten memories of a past travel. Did he... do that to Nilo? No, he couldn't have. Why would he have? But he knew... he did it... "Hu... h?" He stared blankly forward. His body wouldn't move... it wouldn't budge... His knees, however, began shaking uncontrollably and he collapsed. "Again... n-"Something... snapped... and like a feral beast, Charles turned towards the enemies. Something was definitely wrong with him, as he was twitching and hurting... Still, he lunged at the enemy, his Persona, enveloped in a, now purple, cloud of broken shards... - Stats:
HP: 52/72 (malfunctioning Orgia mode = 15% damage with each attack)
