| Tykal just finished attending fencing practice. He still had a reddish line on his right cheek from practicing without a mask. He got overconfident and got hit. He didn’t think it’d bruise but it’d certainly sting for the rest of the day. He didn’t care too much though, the sting reminded him he needed to practice more. He let out a sigh and scratched his head. It helped most of the time, the scratching, it frazzled his hair to give it more of a fashionable messy look that he enjoyed adorning. He looked at phone hoping to see a missed call or text from Sharaku. They hadn’t really bumped into each other for a few days now, but still Sharaku was like his only friend since he moved, as long as you don’t count force interaction with his dorm mate. The two got along but his dorm mate sort of rubbed him the wrong way at times, so Tykal made no conscious effort to befriend him. Tykal really needed to get out more. Perhaps he’d head to the commons and try and socialize. Then again, since he never talked to anyone in class outside of answering questions and occasionally asking the teacher a question himself, he wasn’t really well known. Since he gotten into a slight verbal scuffle with Rita, Tykal had been avoiding the library as a way to kill time. Hours at the shop were cut too, not a whole lot of people want to buy plants when it’s the middle of winter. What was he to do? Tykal frowned and straighten his tie some as a ritual to get himself moving. There was that theme park, or the café, maybe even museum! Yeah there was stuff he could do! Tykal sighed still it’d be more fun with people. Tykal let out an annoyed moan, “There’s got to be something to do, geesh. Can I guy get a break!” It was pretty sad when homework sounded entertaining. Tykal clenched his fist and got a fire in his eye, desperate times called for desperate measures.
A few minutes later, Tykal hung his head in despair walking like a sad zombie through the dorm halls. As it would turn out, he didn’t have anyone on campuses number aside from a few faculty members. Tykal tried to pep himself up suddenly holding his finger up as if he had an epiphany. “No that won’t work either,” he moaned shooting down his own idea and hanging his head. He leaned back stretching his back extending his arms in the air, “Man why is it so damn hard to think of something to do?” Just as soon as he finished his sentence his stomach let him know exactly what sounded like a good idea with low gurgle. “Food!?” he stood and pondered, “Fine, at least one of us will be entertained today” he slouched defeated.
Food it was. Tykal stopped by his own dorm long enough to put his books up and spritz some cologne on and headed into town to satisfy his rather rude stomach. Now he stood in the waiting area of the restaurant. The place was packed! Tykal sighed holding his stomach to try and muffle the roar it was making. A single seat was hard to find with all the guests, and suddenly Tykal was reminded of how terribly alone he was. He growled in his head going on an internal monologue about it being his own fault for not having friends. The true insanity, was that even bitching in his own mind, he argued with himself back. How In the hell was sushi restaurant packed on a cold day in the middle of the afternoon!? Tykal paused for a moment. Well it was very authentic, they even had severs in kimonos and those little Japanese tables with the cushioned seats, perhaps it was the atmosphere. Tykal really didn’t give it much thought as he walking down the street. He saw the restaurant and just thought, ‘I could go for sushi.’ It wasn’t like he had ever walked in here before. It looked pricey but it wasn’t like he was spending the money from his job on anything. His dorm was filled with more instant noodles and pizza rolls than actual groceries. So this was kind of like a treat, just he now had to wait for a table to open up, which kept going to couples and groups since they didn’t want to waste a long table on just one guy. “Maybe I should date more, going solo seems to be becoming a pain in the ass ya know” he said out loud completely ignoring anyone around him.

| Sky had been wandering about San Malarus once more in search of her brother, but just like before she hadn't found hide or hair of the other. He had to be on the other side, right? If he wasn't then why wasn't any clue being found around here? Was she looking on the wrong island? What?
Distressed the young woman had planned to do more hunting, but her stomach wouldn't allow such a thing as it twisted in an uncomfortable fashion to remind her how long she had forgotten it. Hmmm…she suppose she should feed it before she became weak and sleepy, but what on earth could she eat when she was so worried? She could go back to the shop and eat, but then everything there would remind her of him…There were restaurants around town, but every one she passed didn't catch her interest. Perhaps food was a hopeless…
Oh! Sky came to a stop as she found a small sushi restaurant that was jam pack with people going in and out. Surprised that she had somehow missed the sushi house, Sky wandered over to see what all the hype was about.
As she neared the store, she could hear people saying how fresh and wonderful the sushi was and while she was a skeptic about hype, her stomach gave out a low pitiful growl at that moment causing her to settle with the shop. Entering the restaurant, she had to wade through crowds of waiting people to even find the line. As she was standing there she took note of a young man standing around and looking as if he was distressed about something. As she eyed him, she heard what he said out loud and could not help, but to smirk. Oh, so was that his problem? Well, maybe she could fix this for him, hmm. Maybe get a favor out of the other for the deed? Maybe..just maybe.
Waiting until she was a bit closer to the other, she would speak out to him.
“Well, standing around and complaining about such a thing won’t help much. Why don’t come over here and try your skills with me?” the young woman said not caring about age difference or the odd looks some gave her when she said the words as she kept her place in line, occasionally throwing the guy side ways glances that could be consider hypnotizing for the lustful, playful too the semi-wise, or dangerous to those of over cautious nature. The question here was: Was this boy a fool, a wise man, or a coward? She suppose she would have to wait and see.

| Tykal about jumped out of his skin when the girl spoke to him. He didn't quite realize he had said that aloud. He tried to hide his embarrassment, quite awkwardly by the way, before sighing defeated. "Uhhhh 'skills'?" Tykal questioned. Tykal was too busy satisfying everyone else's expectations of him to really get a chance to practice on pick up lines or suggestive glances. Something he noticed this girl was pretty good at. That or that particular look was working. Tykal scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. He had the talent to adapt to most social settings but this one wasn't he had training in. It was like a short circuit in his mental wiring. He didn't have a face for this occasion. So what Sky got was the unfiltered awkward and embarrassed shyness of Tykal Mahavari. "I uhhhh don't think I'm very good at flirting?" Tykal grimaced realizing what a damn dork he sounded like. Some of the others in line were shaking their head in disbelief of how bad this whole scene was. "I...it was more of an objective statement of facts?" Tykal rolled his eyes slouching some.
He straightened his tie summoning some of that basic courage he at his core never seemed to have. Now wasn't the time to think, he wanted food and was getting hit on, man up or go home! He cleared his throat some. "Though if you came alone, there's an long for a single table, so if you wouldn't mind having dinner with me..." he rose his brow suggestively, which ironically, was the same face he made when he confused. He kinda glanced around at the on lookers for approval. He had to recover from this embarrassing moment, might as well do it right...right? His approval came from an elderly gentleman who simply nodded. Tykal visually returned to a proper posture and had returned to an air of confidence. Thank god his default for handling an awkward situation was strong impulsive behavior. Now he stood there waiting for her reply.

| Jumpy.
That was the first impression that Sky got from the boy she had spoken too.
Awakard, but honest.
That was the second impression the boy gave as he became highly embarrassed and after failing to play it off, finally sunk into his defeat with a sigh. When he spoke, Sky raised an eyebrow at his questions as she shifted her weight lightly as she waited for the line to move.
“Uh-huh. ‘Skills’,” she said in honey sweet tones as she teased him lightly for seeming clueless. Some guys around her that knew her game smirked easily at this as they watched to see how the boy could handle someone like Sky. After all, she was the one appearing to be flirtting to ring in an unfortunate soul. Those who walked the streets and played the game daily knew exactly what the woman was doing; however, it appeared the boy she had spoken to didn’t know just how close he was to the inferno yet.
He was shy and really didn’t know what to do with someone so confident and sure of their game. The reactions he gave were entertaining and priceless to say the least, but that innocent and slightly seductive look never left Sky’s face as she continued to watch the young man who was clearly tangled in a web now.
When he spoke on the subject of flirting, her light smirk became an amused grin as she used one hand to cover her mouth as she let out charming giggle as she watched the other.
“No. You're not good at this game at all,” she said playfully as she winked at him. “But practice makes perfect, right?” she said, her open mood an open invention for him to come closer…if he dared. In the end, it didn’t seem Sky was the only one amused by watching this. Some of the older customers were shaking their head in disbelief while others were snickering behind hands. It was interesting how nosy people were sometimes, but then again being loud in the first place did draw attention, but that was a problem the kid would just have to deal with.
When the guy spoke regarding the question he had asked out loud, Sky shrugged as she shook her head lightly the smile never fading.
“I don’t know. You tell me. You’re the one who said it, so surely you know the meaning of your own words,” Sky said easily turning the question against the boy. If Sky was any other girl of his age, she might’ve tried to hide after greeting this one. He was certainly doing a poor job in the impressing department and would make one with a heart feel embarrassed for him. Unfortunately for this guy, Sky didn’t have a heart that bent that way, so she took a lot of pleasure in the fun that could be had with this one, especially when she hid such play under confidence and feminine charm.
Oho! Well, look at this. The boy, despite his embarrassment, was standing his ground and was he even inviting her to join him for dinner? Did he think his boyish charms could charm the two faced queen? Oh she liked this. Liked this very much. That is why she easily played her next part.
“A long wait, huh? Well, come on over and lets get a table for two. I’d love to have dinner with such a fascinating fellow. My name is Sky and what is yours?” she said her voice as sweet and innocent as ever. If the boy was brave enough to embrace his own words, then her mission was completed. The spider would have her dinner for the night.
