"I know... I just don't feel like talking for now" I said to Sharaku as he said that I was moping around but it's not, I just don't want to cause discomfort to him anymore so all I can do is shut up. I listened to Mae as she told a little bit about herself. I was right, calling her short will get me killed. The good thing I didn't called her a shortie. "My full name is Kazuya Fujiwara, you already know that and i'm currently living in San Malarus right now. I spent my childhood in the forest where I lived with my uncle. My parents died when I was a baby so my uncle raised like his own child. He also grew old unmarried so he even considers me as his own son. Also, I know how to use a very old martial art called Kali. I think that is all I can tell" As I end my statement, my very spicy fried rice arrived. Obviously, I took a bite and it continues although there are tears on my eyes due to that it is very spicy but still, i'm eating like a pig.

''I never said I was against it.'' Sharaku would shake his head briefly at Mae's statement. Sure, he didn't think he'd be extra useful in certain ways, but he had no problem with doing it. He liked walking around, and it would most likely include that, so he had no actual reason to oppose. It really depended on the situation, and whether he was in the mood, but all in all, he wouldn't decline right now. ''If you say so.'' Somehow, he didn't really believe what Kazuya said, but he wasn't about to pry. The decision was up to the bluehead, and if he wanted to shut up, then go ahead and be his guest. He wasn't interested in forcing people to explain their actions in case it did not affect him thoroughly. And he did not neccesarily mind the fact the other was quiet.

...What was this, sum up your life story? Honestly, he never got what was the big deal of telling a lot of info about yourself to people you met less than an hour ago. It didn't appeal to him too much. It wasn't even sure that he would hang out with them ever again. Wasn't a name enough? Some people were really open, that's for sure. Ah well. He had to say something, however, seeing as it'd be impolite to refuse when both of them gave their own speeches. ''I'm from Portugal, though I've lived in Japan as well. Right now, I live in Penecia. I suppose I have nothing to say on parents, seeing as I live on my own.'' Would that be enough? Either way...''What's the problem with your heigth? Technically speaking, when someone calls you short, they're just stating what is. I don't see a reason to be upset about it, unless they make a point of mocking you. That's like me getting upset over someone telling me I'm tall.'', he would shrug lightly. He never really saw the deal in this. Why have a problem with something so petty? So, she was a good foot shorter than him..and? There were worse things to worry about than the fact that you're a bit on the short side.

Mae looked at Katzuya. "Growing up without ever meeting your parents... It's rough. At least you have your uncle." She knew what it was like growing up without actual parents. "Moving from the forest all the way to a big city like San Malarus must've been rough. I guess you have adapted by now, but..." She fell silent as the Waiter approached them with their food.

"Oh, you're Portugese? Interesting. I've always wanted to visit Europe. Spain, Italy and France to be specific. They all have a very interesting history, the locales are beautiful, and their food is supposedly very tasty too!" Mae started eating her fried rice. "I guess I'm just a bit insecure on that front... I know, I really shouldn't get mad, but sometimes, I just can't help it...". Mae frowned. She knew very well it was a bad habit of hers, and she's trying to fix it... But uh... It's not going to great on that front yet. "So, why azores? I know Katzuya is probably here because of school, but I don't really get your reasoning behind it. And isn't Penecia suppost to be a tourist island?". From what Mae knows, that was the case.

I listened to them as I eat my very spicy fried rice. "You know what Mae-senpai? You should be thankful that you're short because of the fact that short people live longer than tall people". I then continued to chomp down on my food like I haven't seen food for a million years. I listened to Sharaku's backstory as well, hearing it made me feel that we're the same. We both don't know our parents but his case is different though, he lives alone and I got raised by my uncle. I finished my meal and I waited for them to finish. "Done! Woo! Sure that spicy fried rice is veeerry spicy!" I can't really forget how spicy they made the fried rice. My tongue feels like it is on fire, I think I need a super duper cold drink or something.

Hm? What was so great about Europe? Honestly, Sharaku wouldn't have said it was that badly different from what it's like here. Well, in consideration of Japan, then perhaps somewhat, but it wasn't really that amazing. Not that he's ever been to the other three countries around. Well, perhaps Spain, but not even too much past the borders. He wasn't good in Spanish anyway. ''I don't find it that much different from what you can find here. From Japan perhaps, but Azores itself has things that are somewhat European.'', he would shrug slightly. He would raise an eyebrow at Kazuya's comment. ''Did someone actually prove that?'' Not that it bothered him, but who even came up with a concept that short people live longer? Wasn't heigth just a matter of genetics? What did it have to do with the length of life? It just sounded a bit weird to him to be seriously true.

''Sort of random? I don't know. I just wanted to move out of where I had been before, and ended up here. No specific reason for the choice. As for Penecia, yes, it is mostly a tourist island, but you can live there too. It's just not very cheap.'' Sheesh, why did people care for such random details anyway? He had no idea what good would it do for her to know why had he even moved here. She barely knew him. He was never sure why people liked to dig so fast. Something like this didn't even help understand things, at least, he did not see a point in it.

Mae listened to Sharaku intently. He had this mysterious air about him which made Mae want to know more. Perhaps it was something he was unaware of...? He seemed very unwilling to talk about his past in much detail. Not that Mae could blame him, they had just met.

"Really? Where did you learn this?" Mae raised an eyebrow at Katzuya, after which she took another bite. She was a bit sceptical on the validity of this information. Isn't one's age determined by bigger factors, such as Genetics, lifestyle and enviroment? At least, that's something which she, and everybody else, should have learned by this point.

"So you just moved here on a whim eh? And considering you live in Penecia, I assume you're pretty rich. Either that, or you have a job that pays really well.". She took another bite, and after swallowing, she took a small sip of her drink before continuing "So, what brings you Azores Station? And at this hour?" Mae had a hard time containing her curiousity, but she had to... Satisfying her own curiosity without stepping too far into personal territory was a difficult balancing act when it came to reserved people like Sharaku, she knew that.

"Well, I just read it somewhere on the internet. I don't know if it's true since only such dumbasses will believe that everything internet is true but hey, don't worry. I think it's kinda true since short need to eat average of nutrients since they're bodies are short and for tall people, they need to eat a lot of nutrients so their body can have a full supply of nutrients. Well at least, that is my theory. " I am not the smart type of person so I don't know where the hell did I get that theory. Maybe it is just I love food so yeah maybe that is where I get my theory. Welp, it is good to see that I get smart sometimes.

I am finished but they're not finished talking yet. I can't leave now! I have to escort Mae-senpai to the dorms and I think Sharaku can take care of himself. So all I have to do is to wait for this conversation to finish then escort Mae-senpai to the dorms and done! So I sit back and listened to Mae-senpai and Sharaku to talk to each other. I only lived here for 4 months and I don't think I have enough information to be the tour guide. So far, I only explored San Malarus and Penecia Island and I don't know about the other islands.

Sharaku would give Kazuya a quizzical glance when he answered the double inquiry. What? What in the world did the amount of food have to do with the age at which you die? He just couldn't make a connection in this one no matter how hard he tried. ''I don't think I understand what does the amount of food you eat have to do with age. Besides, I think it depends on the individual. I personally don't eat too much, and am fine that way.'', he would shrug vaguely. For example, when you see a fat short person, it's doubtful they eat less than a thin tall one. That kind of assumption was sort of strange.

''Perhaps.'', he would respond simply on Mae's assumption about money and jobs. He wasn't about to explain, seeing as she didn't pose it as much of a question. ''Well, the station is the quickest way to move between the islands, as much as I dislike the usual crowdiness.'' What else would be doing here? Sightseeing? Watching the trains? He didn't really address the time question, but did it even matter? He could go out at any time of the day without a reason for such choice, no?

"I guess that makes sense. It's fine if you don't wanna tell me why you're here. We just met after all!". Mae Smiled at Sharaku. She finished her food. "Alright, now that I'm stuffed with food, I think I'm ready to go to the dorms. Thanks for the company Sharaku-San. I guess you don't have much reason to come with us to the Dorms, so if there isn't anything else, this is where we part... I'm sure we'll see eachother again in the future!" She gave Sharaku a quick bow, before turning to Katzuya. "You done? Shall we go then?"

She grabbed her trunk, backpack and walked back outside. The two Students waved goodbye to the man as he dissapeared into the crowd. When they no longer could see Sharaku's top hat, Mae turned to Katzuya. "Alright, why don't we get going?" Azores sure knew how to make a good first impression. Mae hadn't even been there for more than an hour at most, and she already had aquainted herself with two new people, one of them a student. Things were looking up. "You lead the way, Katzuya-kun!" She smiled friendly at him. Her next two years here was looking pretty bright, if her first day here was anything to go by...

I watched Sharaku as he disappears within the crowd. I looked at Mae-senpai and answered her question. "I'm done senpai, so yeah follow me! in a one in two in a three" then I started marching in cheerful way like a child hopping while humming a cheerful melody. We passed through many buildings and after the buildings. We passed by the big walls of Zela Academy until we finally reached the gate. "Ok... and stop! We're here!" I signaled Mae-senpai to stop. Wooh! that was a long march! I am glad that we walked this far. I looked at the gate and pointed at it. "Ok... that big building over there is Zela Academy, that's our school. It's so big that I got lost in my first day so be sure to get a map first before going in which is just right there" I pointed to a small table where the maps are placed then I would turn around pointing to an another buildings that looks like an apartment. "Now, that big apartment right there! is the dorms! I am sure that you can cross the road by yourself so my job here is done!" before Mae could even say thank you, I got her first. "and Please, no need to thank me! We're fellow students and we're both humans so it is normal for us to help each other" I bowed at her. "I guess I can leave you here so goodbye senpai! See you tomorrow! Enjoy your stay!" I said my last words to Mae-senpai before leaving.

((OoC: Just a comment on one thing I noticed. You two do realize that I never implied I'm leaving in my last post? Yet you both already wrote it off as if I was doing just that. What if my char decided not to go yet, or something along those lines? You guys kind of wrote what I'm going to do for me, and it'd be weird if I tried to stay in now, considering that you're already off doing other things .-. Lucky you that he is going to leave, but you shouldn't be doing that when you don't really know. Just so you know, that could be classified as godmodding, when you pretty much control another's char and don't give them a choice. And that's practically breaking an RP rule lol You could write a possibility and still leave the other a choice, but making it set in stone is a no-no, unless the RPer tells you it's fine beforehand.

That's that I think. Imma just exit, seeing as it's useless to go and write like 2 lines. I don't have much more than that for the situation anyway lol))

"Uh, alright! See ya tomorrow then! It was nice meetin' ya!" Mae shouted while waving goodbye to Katzuya before she turned around towards the Dorm entrance.

Mae was pretty exhausted from the trip over here, and now with her stomach full of food, getting to her new room was something she's longing for. Despite how eager she was to get her new room, she hesitated slightly before opening the door. "It's normal to be nervous at a time like this right?" she thought to herself, before taking a deep breath to calm herself down, as she grabbed her trunk and opened the doors...
