Y U NO Featherman ? [Jack]

Hyde was walking around the hallway of Zela academy, asking people around if they knew anything about a featherman club. Nilo promised that he would be the one to show Hyde where the club is so he could check it out himself, but Hyde kind of wanted to surprise him. It was pretty strange though, maybe they didn’t know much of anything about the new clubs that were on the rise? “I guess the publicity for this club is pretty bad, nobody knew what I was talking about at all. Hyde decided to get something from the snack machine, figuring that he was pretty hungry from all the searching.

Jack couldn't be happier with how things were progressing with his rangers. Depending on what Oki decided, he would have a full team of base colors and a sixth ranger! Never had he thought he would get this far. Honestly he had expected to get maybe two other rangers, at the most. At lest then he could have a semi full team... But a full team of six rangers? That was beyond his wildest dreams! So it was fairly understandable that he would have a bit pf pep in his step as he walked down the halls taking down his old fliers. Now that he had a full team there was no need to advertise more. By the time he reached the snack machines he had a good arm full of the fliers.

"Perhaps you should keep the fliers up, more rangers is never a bad thing,"

"I've got plenty Gole-EH!" Jacks mind was momentary distracted by the ever present voice of his Golem, thus he did not see the stray text book in his path. This made the next few moments very surprising for him as he lost his footing on the book and tumbled towards the ground scattering his fliers everywhere... Thanks Golem...

Hyde looked next to the guy casually and quickly went down to pick some of the flyers up. “Sorry, did you bump into me or something? “ He wasn’t too sure if he was the one that caused a trip, but he didn’t like to see one guy picking up flyers all by himself. Every year, the freshman are subject to some kind of bullying that Hyde dislikes, so he usually takes it upon himself to help out whenever he can. Too bad not a lot of people share his outlook. “Huh? “

Hyde would then turn to the guy who dropped it. “Hey, are you apart of this club? My friend Nilo said he was going to show me the place. Could you tell me a bit about this featherman club?” It was just a hunch, but maybe this guy could help him out?

"huh? Naw just tripped over a book or something... Darn books so... heavy with knowledge..." Jack grumbled that last part to himself... It wasn't that he didn't LIKE school and learning...He just didn't see much point. When was the last time vectoral addition in a 3d space helped defeat a monster huh? Featherman: Lost Universe Episode 23... That was a weird episode... Ether way, Jack was just glad someone was there to help him with his papers. His head would perk up however when he mentioned Nilo.

"Wait, you're a friend of Ranger Blaaaaaa- I mean Nilo? Huh," Jack smiled to himself as he continued with the papers. He was glad that Nilo had more friends. He never saw Nilo hanging out with anyone, so he was worried that Nilo didn't socialize much. It was a relief to see the fear was ungrounded,"A friend of Nilo's is a friend of mine! The name's Jack, and yeah I run the Featherman Club... if you could call it a club..." well... technically it was a club... On paper at least.

Oh really? My name is Hyde; I’m a part of the athletics club. I wasn’t too sure if this club had anything to do with sports or anything, archery maybe? Since something called feather man might have something to do with feather caps. The first think that I thought was robin hood. “ Hyde would laugh as his silly gesture while bending down to get his small bag of chips. “Well, other than that, I wanted to check it out myself. Could you direct me to the Feather Man club advisor? I would want to see what this club is really about and help promote it.

Hyde opened the chip bag with a puzzled look. “You know, I asked around the school for your club and not much of anyone even knew where the clubroom was or what the club was about. It was pretty strange that a club wasn’t known by much of anyone. Not even rumors about it, and here you have so many posters set up. People need to be a lot more attentive these days.

Did... Did he not know what Neo Featherman Rangers was?... Oh... Oh god... This... this poor soul was without the knowledge of Rangers! Jack had always assumed people knew about Featherman Rangers, like it or not. It never even occurred to him that people may not have joined simply because they didn't know what he was promoting or what the club was about... but seriously? Robin Hood? Please... Jack wouldn't be caught dead in those silly tights... wait... Oh... right ,"Uh... Not exactly... You see we fig-er... Do community service around the area, ya know just helping out where we can." Technically Jack wasn't lying, what they did could be considered community service, they were cleaning up the streets to a point.

Wait... promote?... Hmmm... Now that Jack got thinking about community service... he kinda liked the idea of a full club... it would make hideing the rangers all that much simpler! Like hiding in plane sight!"Really? You'd do that! Awesome! Fallow me, I'll bring you to our club adviser!" Jack collected the rest of the papers and hurried down the hall. He was starting to get a little excited by the prospect.,"Well... the club is a bit... different then most so I can see how it would be a little hard to dig up information about it. AH here we are!" Jack came to a stop not ten feet from the snack machines in front of a door that had a sign with the word Janitor written on it. Jack pounded on the door twice and shouted in,"Yo! Mr.Oliver! I've got someone who wants to meet you!"

"Eh? Jack? That you? Can't ya tell I'm on my break!" The door quickly opened up to a rather large closet furnished with a chair and a small table. The man who opened the door Stood in the door frame with a slight scowl. He was a tall man with graying hair and a wrinkled face, he wore the schools standard blue janitorial staff jumpsuit. He would look at Jack then Hyde for a moment before his scowl turned into a small smile,"What can I do for ya?"

Hyde didn’t have any clue that the janitor of the school was also the club advisor of the Neo Featherman club. They did some community service and made it seem like the club was based around helping people, Hyde was fond of that much of the activities when they said that. It sounded like something he would definitely participate in helping out whenever he had the time. “ Hello Mr. Oliver, I’m Hyde Mizumi. I wanted to know more about the club that you are supervising, the Neo Featherman club. I promised a friend of mine that I would help advertise it and help in any way that I can, so it would be good to know if you could tell me a little bit about the club in your own words.

Hyde was curious to hear what Mr Oliver was going to say about the club; maybe some of the mysteries of this club would finally come to light? “ Haven’t quite caught your name either, what was it again?” Hyde would say as his eyes shifted over to Jack, that guy didn’t introduce himself yet either. However, Hyde maintained his usual friendly demeanor as usual.

"Featherman Club? Is that what this is about? Well listen here sonny. I only sign the papers here, Jack handles all the club administration stuff. I just wanted to be able to help out the community! Jack said his club would clean up the city and I trust em! All I really know about it is he uses my old tool shed as the club room and every week I have him send me a report of the stuff the clubs done for the city! If I think he's doin enough I keep signen the papers," Mr.Oliver said this like he had been rehearsing it in the mirror. Truth be told... Mr.Oliver was a closet Featherman Ranger's Fanatic, but saw himself as to old to don the suit. Once Jack approached him with the idea of a team of Rangers based out of the school, Mr.Oliver said he would help on one condition, that he be refereed to as Zordon during all club outings. He knew he would get in trouble and lose his job if the school found out the club was really a bunch of vigilantes so the cover of community help was born.

"Name's Jack!" Jack said as a wide smile formed on his face,"I could show you the club room if you want,"

Sounds like a pretty cool club, I’m actually fond of community service. I used to do it all the time when I came to Zela, I still do. It’s a bit shocking that Nilo joined such a cub that was immersed in social activities of helping people like this when he’s so quiet. But, then again, I’m pretty happy that he taken an interest in a club like this “It was nice to know that the cub was exactly what they said they were. After the other guy introduced himself as Jack, Hyde would hold out his hand for a handshake. It was surprising that they didn’t bother asking about the cape.

“It’s nice to meet you jack. It would be cool if you could lead the way. I would like to see the club room myself!” Hyde was getting a bit excited and anxious now, maybe Nilo and a few other club members would be there.

"Y-Yeah! Glad your taking an interest!" Jack reached out and took Hyde's hand... and slowly began to realize how bad this could potentially be... Perhaps... If Hyde found out the truth about the club be may spread the world and disclose the true identities of the other Rangers. Jack's identity was all but public knowledge... but that didn't mean the others would want theirs to be broadcast to the masses. Jack knew that would all but destroy them socially, as it had him but he honestly didn't care at the time.

"Fallow me!" Jack would lead Hyde through the school and towards the dorms to where his shack stood. He pulled a few branches aside and proudly showed his base to Hyde in all it's glory.,"Here is our club room! Kinda small huh...."

Are you kidding, it looks pretty cool! Hey man, you know what would be neat and inconspicuous? If you made a second base in the old tree houses in lunapa island. I’m pretty sure if you can get to the at least one and clean that place up, it would look like a pretty hideaway. That and the fact that I’m pretty fond of tree houses. “ Hyde would then turn back to Jack with a smile. “ Well the outside looks pretty decent, how about we go on inside? IS there any members in there already dong some club activates? I’m petty curious man.

Hyde was pretty earnest with his feeling towards the place. “ Yo Jack, when was the last time You ever gave this place a small point job. A little bit of TLC can go a long way, or are you trying not to make it stand out? I mean, giving it a cool paint job could be a club activity for you guys to get closer together.

Hmmmm... Jack eyed his shack with new eyes. Secretly Jack was slightly ashamed of his little shack. It was run down, falling apart, and despite his best efforts still had a possum living in it. Seriously... That possum was really persistent! Jack in all his life had never seen anything that small and furry survive that many hits with a broom handle. It was almost scary!... And it turned scary when it charged at em...  Those teeth may have been small but they were sharp... OH well Jack was getting off track.,"As much as I complain about it I wouldn't want my base to be anywhere else... But... You are right. The Rangers and I could spend a bit of time together to paint it up! Oh... Oh I'm getting pumped! Hyde! You have got so many ideas! As for the inside I doubt there's anyone here now but you're more then welcome to come in."


"Welcome to The Neo Featherman Base of operations!"

“Wow, this is a neat little place that you have here. “ Hyde would say as he took a seat and looked around the area. There seemed to be no club members here today though. “So the club hours are set at a different time? I was expecting at least one of your friends to be here Jack, or Nilo maybe. But still, this place is neat. “ Hyde then looked around and noticed the lockers

“Hey Jack, what do you usually keep in those lockers? Is it mostly storage for everybody to put their things when they get here or is it used for something else?” There was something else on Hyde’s mind as well. This place is pretty retro, but the benefit of not being in a tree house is the fact that you have access to electricity. Hopefully you do. You should also check to see if the radiator is working. When you guys want to hang out and its pretty cold outside, you wouldn’t want that cold air to transpire into the room. That’s why you should also keep the fan covered on those days, especially during winter time. “

Hyde noticed that he was rambling and apologized immediately. “ I’m sorry, I guess I just got lost there for a moment. I really like your club house Jack. Girls might think its icky or something, but some people might find it difficult to appreciate this kind of beauty.

"Sadly the club isn't very active right now, we're just finishing getting everything set up. So it's no surprise that no one's here right now. Hopefully I'll be able to really start making things happen here pretty soon." Jack said resting his back against the far wall opposite where Hyde was sitting. Jack became momentarily worried when Hyde referenced the lockers, seeing as how that's where Jack stored the back up costumes and weapons, but his worries were put to rest once he began to rant on how to make the club house a bit more homey.

"No problem man, we do get electricity though. Mr.Oliver was sure we had at least that. But you said something about advertising? Could you really do that? I mean... I've tryed fliers and as you say almost no one knew what the club was really about..."

“Mhm, I could help with that. Have you ever tried the message boards at the school website? It’s always to set up an advertisement there. Also, you guys should show off your stuff at a club fair or something. You know, gaining popularity with a stall. As for me, I’m quite the social butterfly myself. I’ll go around the school and spread the word for you, I’m sore that someone would be willing to listen to me at least. “ Hyde ten started to get up of the couch. “ I can’t make any promises of the result, all you need to know is that I will be putting my efforts into making sure that I tell as many people as I can about your club, after my duties to the athletic club is done of course.

Before leaving, Hyde would turn back to Jack with a smile. “I’ll stop by to check on you, Later Jack. “ Hyde would then exit the clubhouse.
