The android listened to Naomi's tale about her mother, smiling all the way through, it was evident that her tale struck a chord with the android. "It is good that you two share a relationship like that, and I appreciate the comfort you've given to me. It is good to know that what I'm feeling and perceiving is natural. This might be just a large hurdle that Maria and I have to overcome, but like you and your mother we shall preserve." He said smiling at Naomi, he was sure that with time and by talking to one another Maria would forgive him. Yes, he was responsible for the death of her father, but his intentions were pure, and all he wanted to do was protect her from harm.

Then she told him that telling the others in private was the right move, "I'm glad you think so. And thank you for your good will and giving me a chance to explain myself. I was worried you would not give me that chance, and I appreciate it greatly. You have done a lot for me in a brief amount of time, and I'm sure that I will make the right choice regarding my previous thoughts. I'm glad I got a chance to meet you, you have been a great friend and excellent person for Maria to meet." The android said smiling brightly at her, he wanted to let her know how much she was apperciated.

She would smile at him when he continued to say that she was a good person to meet. If only he knew he past, he may disagree with that statement. Whereas his actions were justified through protecting Maria, she had no excuse for the horrible things she had done in her past. She would have to tell him about that someday, but not today. They had their fill of serious topics, she was sure. Naomi would finally stand up and stretch her legs, “Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting a conversation like that when I first came here. It’s a little funny actually. I came here to get some work done and you came to meet up with someone. Instead, we got on this really heavy topic.” She would stick out her tongue and knock on her head, “We’re both really bad at doing what we set out to do, aren’t we?” She would gather up her stuff and wave to Alphonse, “Good luck in your endeavors. As for me, I have to get home to attend to the basic chores of living. Say hello to Maria for me, okay?” She would head out after that. The day was young, and she still had work to do.

The android nodded at her as she stretched, and her comment. To be honest, he wasn't either, but it was funny how things turned out. Always unpredictable these humans were, but that was a good thing, wasn't it? It meant that adventures and the like were always to be had, sure he didn't want to tell his secret just yet, but it ended up working out for the best. "Yes, I'm sorry about distracting you, but I must thank you for helping me and comforting me. It means a lot, and while we may not succeed in doing what we set out to do, we make it work out for us." He said offering her a smile, and returned the wave. "I will, I'm sure she will want to see you again here soon!"
