Appearance:
Ryuu is a neat, clean, and trim young man. He stands at six feet even and weighs one hundred fifty pounds. His hair is short and straight, black in color, and neatly combed. His clothing is always fancy, which his grandfather believes is befitting of a Shichiro. They are high society and they want everyone to know it. Ryuu has beautiful blue eyes and neatly plucked eyebrows. He always has a straight posture that suggests he has been trained in appropriate etiquette.

Personality:

Ryuu comes off as a stern, serious individual whose only concern is to get perfect grades and really perfect everything. He appears to be only concerned with school and not so much with making friends. Even though he is in two clubs, he typically keeps to his own work and rarely speaks to anyone unless he must.

What He's Hiding
Ryuu is, in fact, kind, sweet, and very personal. He's quick to fall in love; with girls (even though he has never had a girlfriend for more than a few weeks), art, literature, and basically anything else. His family, especially his grandfather, are very hard on him. Being the heir to a multimillion yen corporation, there are certain things that are expected of him. His freedom of choice has been completely taken away. His grandfather decides the school he goes to, the clubs he can attend, he approves the girls he dates and is not allowed to date any girl who falls short of his grandfather's expectations. If no one Ryuu chooses is approved by his grandfather by the time he takes over the family business, his grandfather's arranged girl will marry him. As a result of all this pressure, Ryuu is basically two people; Ryuu-sama, the heir to his grandfather's empire, and Ryuu, the simple good guy. What causes true inner turmoil is that he has a hidden passion; a passion of acting. He keeps it a secret, however, as he knows his grandfather would never approve. He also has an explosive temper when someone he cares about is being threatened.

—Description: One of the major lessons pounded in Ryuu's head is etiquette. He was trained since childhood to have perfect table manners, perfect social manners, and impeccable posture.

—Description: Ryuu has trouble standing up for himself. Since he was a child, any kind of rebellion was met with swift and brutal punishment. As a result, he has trouble standing up to ANYONE.

—Description: Being the eldest son in a family where he has constantly been groomed to take over a corporation, he doesn't know what it's like to eat at a fast food restaurant or what it's like to go to a festival. If exposed to any of these environments, he is likely to lock up and not know what to do.

—Weakness Name: Low Defense
—Description: Ryuu is not good at taking a hit since he has a naturally low pain threshold. Therefore, he goes down faster in combat than most others.

Weapon Description: The sword is a simple 42 inch longsword with a gold inlay in the hilt. The pommel is made out of black granite. The blade is etched with a message; "I am very proud of your progress -Mother" This sword is his prized possession.

The Background

History:
Ryuu was born to Kenji and Aiko Shichiro on a warm spring morning. From the time he was six years old, he was groomed by his grandfather, Satoshi, to take over the corporation that his father runs currently, Shichiro Products. From that young age, he was being taught how to essentially be the perfect gentleman, someone his grandfather could be proud of. When he turned ten, his grandfather felt he was ready to go to social gatherings and mingle with others in high society. While Ryuu tried to enjoy these dinners, sampling foods he never tried before (and even getting his first sip of wine), the constant reminder that the reputation of his family hung in the balance and that one mistake could dishonor them prevented him from truly enjoying the gathering. After his swordsmanship training and his schoolwork and tutors, he spent the last couple hours of the day on the beach, in a special spot that not many people went to.

It was there where he met Aya. Aya was the youngest daughter of the Shichiros' business rivals. But being kids, neither one really cared. Ryuu was happy. Finally, he made a friend. Their friendship blossomed over a couple of years, eventually turning into a full-on romance. They had been dating for four weeks when they finally decided to make their relationship known to both of their families. Ryuu's grandfather was furious. He called her many things, "slut" and "scum" being the kindest, and Aya was sent from Shichiro Manor, tears in her eyes. She wasn't the only one crying. Once he was sufficiently scolded by his grandfather, he was sent to his chambers, where he cried himself to sleep that night.

The next morning, he was forbidden from seeing her again. This didn't come as much of a surprise, since Ryuu was certain that would happen, but that didn't make it any less painful. After his studies, he went to that spot on the beach where they met and where they would talk of their dreams and plans for the future, and where she kissed him and told him she was only his. He still goes to that spot to this very day, hoping that maybe, just maybe, she'll be there too. Then came his enrollment in High School. Zela Academy was at the top of his grandfather's list. And of course, what his grandfather wants, his grandfather gets. So Ryuu had no choice but to attend.

He excelled in his classes and in the clubs his grandfather approved of. High School was uneventful for the most part. He simply went from day to day, the moment where he'll take over the corporation looming ever closer. He's now a third year; just a few years away from taking his father's place.

Everything is looking good except for two things. You'll need a combat weakness of sorts to balance out your strength of being a good swordsman. The only other issue I see is your Arcana. Your character is noticeably being caught between two extremes and two different lifestyles, which are signs of the Hanged Man. On the other hand, him being quick to fall in love, the observation of his two different lifestyles with his two decisions and his want to make friends are also signs of the Lovers Arcana. The Hanged Man seems to fit more, but you can choose either; you just don't exactly fit the Fool really.

Once that's all fixed, you're approved!

Yeah, I tried to make a character with my chosen Arcana in mind. (Plus, I wanted to make a joke. His birthday is on April Fool's Day and his Arcana is The Fool. Lame, right? xD)

But I felt like Ryuu turned out better when I let him grow naturally as I created him.

I'll fix that real fast. ^^
