The Music Room [Bocross]

— W-What?? — His instantly dropped jaw and bulging eyes showed the teen, once more, didn't see that coming. Hyde wouldn't watch his mouth, would he? How dare he..!. Regardless, Shunnosuke never thought of his interest for Sharaku was...love. That's too much of a strong word to be used, perhaps "attraction" is a more suitable definition since they have barely seen each other and Shunnosuke was too much of a skeptical person to refer to himself as "in love" with someone. Besides, why did everyone else decide to rub it in his face like that? First that nuisance of a friend Kei, and now Hyde...were they too meddlesome or was it too obvious? — We're just friends. Friends! And let's not get him in the middle of our conversation, shall we?  — Okay, that was a composed response, wasn't it? No reason to get all heated up about that topic, it's not like he was infatuated with Sharaku...right?

A banana. That wasn't what Shunnosuke would qualify as a "good reward", but while he would have no qualms to make a downright statement, he decided it was for the best to just smile like his usual niminy-piminy self and take the fruit. After all, Hyde meant well and past the whole conversation, he couldn't really be blunt to the redhead.

— Ahn...I'll think about it. — He said, putting the banana inside his briefcase. It wasn't among his intentions to sign up for a talent show, he had other more urgent cares for the time being; however, Hyde wouldn't know that. In any event, Shunnosuke would probably give it some thought as soon as his priorities are solved. — Well then, I should be on my way. Still have a few things to study. — He then stood up from the bench and gave his classmate a polite nod before going his own way to the room door. He didn't leave it immediately, though, as his steps ceased suddenly and, once again, the teen turned back to his classmate: — If you can play one song that well, then you should be the one taking piano classes. — He sported a soft smile at that sentence and stayed like that for a moment. Well, he couldn't imagine Hyde and his overly cheerful disposition having the proper long-term discipline required for piano learning, but maybe it's an inner talent he hasn't discovered yet? It's up to him to let it bloom or not. In the end, Shunnosuke decided to leave the music room and make his way back to home. After all, he still had some books to read...
