“Keep it going team, it seems that were on a roll!” Hyde continued to boost the morale as he continued with his earth attacks. It was more of a one trick pony strategy, but it was better to go through with it as long as they had it. The agility of the beast could be brought into question upon the moment that it’s allowed some offense. All bets are off when that moment comes, So Hyde decided to be a bit conservative with his strategy decisions.

The Crow's Caw (Yatagarasu's Awakening) - Page 2 Yata_s11

After the absolute beating that the Users gave to the Shadow, it slowly pushed itself off its knee, like it was merely a scratch on him to accompany the plenty of scratches and dents they were making in it. The heat was slowly rising in the area, and the waves were crashing loudly against the shores of the dirt area. Things were becoming quite chaotic in the world around them, and it was not over yet, nor was this fight. While the Shadow was getting up, sounds would still be echoing from it, now more intense and rage-filled. It was preparing for something, but what?

Sentinel noted the sounds the creature was making, was it preparing for something? Evidently something was coming, but the group had struck the creatures weakness several times already. Surely it would go down eventually, but at the same time Sentinel could not help but believe that something was coming? An attack of some sort, or was it preparing to become something else? Regardless, Sentinel gestured for Odysseus to strike again, the Greek Warrior lifted the Earthshaker's trident and slammed it into the ground. Rocks hurled themselves the ground and struck the titan with great force trying to knock it backwards.

Finally the Shadow could act, though it needed time to prepare that the opponents stole from him. After looking at the group, the Shadow would hold its hand straight up into the air, and a bronze dome seemed to form over him before disappearing. The Shadow now seemed to have a bronze tint in his armor, and it would not take long for the group to realize he was now resistant to their relentless earth attacks, and would either need to think of a new strategy, or keep attacking. Either way, this Shadow was not even close to being done with these opponents. “FOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOL…” it shouted in a mechanic voice.

Hyde grunted as soon the golden wall came up. “Tch, you think I’m afraid of some light show?! That’s not going to stop us from taking you down!” As soon as Hyde said that, Codas clinched his teeth and rushed in with his spear. “Don’t let this guy intimidate you; he’s pretty hurt bad, we just need one big finish!” To be honest, Hyde was pretty excited towards the fact that the fight was reaching over to the climax of things. Some people would call this crunch time, the moment when nobody should be messing up. However, that was far from Hyde’s mind. He had a lot of faith in his friends, and he didn’t like the fact that these look alike monsters think they could do whatever they want. On top of that, Hyde was having a little bit of fun; he considered this as a service to the people that couldn’t protect themselves. Hyde then whispers over to Alphonse. “Hey Al, just lay off the earth for a while. Let’s see if other attacks work as well.”

After sustaining more damage from the users, the Shadow would hold its hand out to them, but instead of flame being shot at them like one may expect, a gray and black ball would be shot at the ground between the Shadow and the four, releasing heavy smoke into the air for a brief moment. After several seconds, the smoke would lighten and would be enough to breathe safely for the most part, but still linger. What the real sight was now that instead of one Shadow fighting them, there were now seven of the same Shadow practically surrounding the group and looking onto them, with menacing sounds echoing from the many Shadows. They were exact copies of each other and impossible to determine which one looked different from the rest. The four would have to prepare for the worst, or figure out which one was the true Shadow. Were they going to be lucky?
