| Support Arcana boosts are being nerfed from 15% to 5% boosts. This takes effect after the current fights are finished. | |

| After some consideration and examining how long it took to complete previous dungeons, there will be a new change to how we will handle the length of dungeons/boss battles. Or else Endymion would take much longer than it should. Should a plot thread take far too long, battles will be increased in difficulty and the DM will post faster regardless of how many of the players post during their turn phase. Please remember this will be used as a last resort should the event take too long. Even if the DM speeds up in posting and the difficulty is increased, there is a chance to win. But the chances of victory are more difficult now. Try not to take too long, thank you. | |

| From here on out, we will be requiring those who make their Persona to add their Tension skills below in creation. The rules regarding being a Tension support is below: https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t5476-player-support-tension-systemAlso, in situations where things begin to slow down, we will enforce a time limit on an entire party to post. The rule is that if not everyone posts within 48 hours, then they will be skipped. However if this rule is called, the order for given fights is irrelevant, so you are free to go in whichever order you like for a fight. This is effective immediately, including any current fights should you so choose to impose the rule upon yourselves. If you have any questions, please contact us. | |

| Ok so as of this point, effective immediately, the mental ailment rule where certain ailments will keep you from dodging will no longer apply. Whether you are Charmed or Feared, Rage, etc. You still have the potential to dodge. This applies in any current fight on the next use of an ailment. Thanks. | |

| After the current plot dungeons are finished, there will be a new update for the Black Market. It will be gun-related. A new set of skills will be updated as well. Please keep a look out for the Vista Square channel in the Discord. | |

| Fun idea was brought up, so after any current dungeon battles, you can now use as many items and skills to heal up BEFORE taking your movement/Shadow Accel/Sukukaja buff when moving in a dungeon towards an enemy. That is all, have fun. | |

| We are making new updates. Hope you like them. Remember about the gun update last time? We've added new guns, equipment, and bullets while revising the prices for them. Now only shotguns can use shotgun rounds. However, per shot it will only use up one shell. Just a little something for you guys. The other new stuff is also added in the Black Market. Feel free to have a look at them. And speaking of guns, we've released the gun skills. If you feel like you need to make necessary changes to your build, let us know in PMs. We will treat it on a case by case basis with the reasoning you give us. - Gun Skills:
Snap | Inflicts a small amount of Gun damage to one foe. | 5% HP | Tier 1
Rapid Needle | Inflicts a small amount of Gun damage to all enemies | 10% HP | Tier 1
Tathlum Shot | Inflicts a moderate amount of Gun damage to one foe with a 20% chance to inflict Rage. | 14% HP | Tier 2
Hell Thrust | Inflicts a moderate amount of Gun damage to one foe with a 20% chance to reduce the enemy's defense by 30% | 15% HP | Tier 2
Dream Needle | Inflicts moderate Gun damage to one foe with a 25% chance to cause the opponent to fall asleep. (They will recover 5% HP/SP for three turns, but they cannot act and the next physical or dexterity attack will do 50% extra damage and wake them up). | 17% HP | Tier 2
One-shot Kill | Inflicts a heavy amount of Gun damage to one foe with a 30% chance to critically hit. | 19% HP | Tier 3
Heaven's Bow | Inflicts a heavy amount of Gun Damage to all enemies | 18% HP | Tier 3
Justice Shot | Inflicts a severe amount of Gun damage to one foe which pierces physical endurance (Cooldown of three turns). | 25% HP | Tier 4
Riot Gun | Inflicts a massive amount of Gun damage to all foes. | 25% HP | Tier 4
There will be a change to Almighty skills. It will no longer be able to clash with skills outside its own type. Non-Initial and Non-Tainted Persona characters will be able to get them if they use skill up cards on an elemental magic skill. To make up for the change we will also give an Almighty boost skill. Though it must also be noted if you're using Almighty Attack, it will use the Ppstr stat only for damage and it can only clash with physical. We aren't quite done yet, if anything we've just begun. We will also be adding new skills as well and hope you'll like them. - Skills:
Makara-Break | Null a single enemy's Makarakarn. | 55 SP | Tier 4
Tetra-Break | Null a single enemy's Tetrakarn. | 55 SP | Tier 4
Dormina | 25% chance of inflicting the Sleep ailment to one enemy. Fall asleep and recover 5% HP/SP per turn for three turns. Next attack will cause the target to awaken and damage inflicted is boosted by 50%. | 5 SP | Tier 1
Lullaby | 25% chance of inflicting the Sleep ailment to all enemies. Fall asleep and recover 5% HP/SP per turn for three turns. Next attack will cause the target to awaken and damage inflicted is boosted by 50%. | 10 SP | Tier 2
>20% luck decrease in PvP.
Ominous Words | 25% chance of inflicting the Despair ailment to one enemy. Enemy will lose 15% SP per turn for three turns. | 5 SP | Tier 1
Abysmal Surge | 25% chance of inflicting the Despair ailment to all enemies. Enemy will lose 15% SP per turn for three turns. | 10 SP | Tier 2
>15% decrease in Pmstr and Ppstr in PvP.
Baisudi | Removes Burn, Gust, Freeze, Shock, or Spiked ailment from one ally. | 3 SP | Tier 1
Mabaisudi | Removes Burn, Gust, Freeze, Shock, or Spiked ailment from all allies. | 6 SP | Tier 1
Insta-Heal | Recover from an ailment in 1 turn. | Passive | Tier 3
Sharp Student | Lowers chance of being hit with a critical by 20%. | Passive | Tier 2 *Will not work with Daredevil.
Almighty Boost | Increases Almighty damage output 30% | Passive | Tier 3
Now speaking of skills, we'll be moving onto the Class Skills. Rogues, Shadow Selves, and Forgotten will get a new change. Rogues will be able to have their Exo OD persona last five turns and be able to choose mutated skills of their choice from the list. Shadow Selves' Shadow Frenzy will be changed to have the cost paid in full for its skills, but the skills requirement will only be limited to the same tier. Shadow Massacre will remain the same. Forgotten's Last Life will now last for three turns once they hit their HP requirement. Increasing HP in that duration will not cancel out Last Life. Liking the new changes? I hope so, because we got more. Shadow Accel no longer requires 400 words for its full distance. This is to help ensure the dungeon can be done more quickly. And to have some relevance even when more of you take on Sukukaja and Masukukaja. Now the best of our good news, we'll be testing out the Baton Pass mechanic. Baton Pass can only be done with members you have a Rank 2 Social Link with and after an enemy has been downed. Each pass will have a 10% boost to recovery and attack which is cumulative to the member who is passed to. Passing is also limited to party members that have not been passed yet. This means you can only pass for a total of three times and the total boost by the maximum end of the passing is up to 30%. We will allow you guys to experiment with this after the dungeons. Based on your feedback we will make necessary changes and perhaps some additions. Enjoy. Remember how I said there's bad news? Thing is this will be focused on the Persona User class. Once you get your Primes, your stat gain will no longer by 12. It will now be 8. Ultimates will get 10. This is to help balance the classes. Previously by end-game the Persona User class far surpassed the other classes and it was difficult to make the non-PU classes relevant. So here is the attempt. To make up for this change, your Rank 3 can now be limited to Tier 3 skills and Rank 7 to Tier 4. The Philemon Wild Card will remain the same. Don't worry, there's still one more change that will benefit you, but it will be revealed later. That should be it. If you're feeling particularly salty, I don't blame you. So feel free to let it all fall on me. Don't worry for now. These changes will be made into effect after the current dungeons. So you got time to mull it over. If you all need to make necessary changes to what you have, PM us first and give us the reason. Case by case and all. That'll be all. Thanks. | |

| You thought I was done? Think again. The Library has been added to the Seven Stars Academy. It will grant +3 intelligence to anyone who takes the time to study in it. However, it is only open at Morning and Afternoon. Platinum Playhouse gets to have the bar open to them to work in to gain +3 Understanding to make up for the Bibliotheca. There will be a new bonus to them coming out later. Enjoy. | |

| Man we're really churning out these new updates aren't we? Well here's another one for you. Full Moons will now be implemented in the plot after this night. They will pop up randomly and will be shown on the event calendar. A Full Moon night will mean a special boss will pop up in the dungeon dashes. They will be marked somewhere in the map. Beat them and you may earn special rewards. But be wary, demons cannot be negotiated on a full moon as they become too excited to talk with and they all have a Full Moon boost in which they get their attack, defense, and agility increased by 15% and start with skills a tier up higher than usual. This cannot be negated by Dekaja effects. This also means experience gained is increased by 30%. Full Moons also affect fusions. They will increase the great success and failure rates of fusing by 10%. Meaning you now will get a 40% chance of great success/failure when you create/fuse masks A great success may mean starting with a few more skills unlocked, more stat increases, or extra resistance. Failures are the vice versa of it, but you may get a completely different randomized mask instead. Try it out if you're feeling lucky. And speaking of demon masks, the requirements to unlock their skills shall be replaced with how many levels you leveled up since you obtained the mask. (I.E. if you want to unlock a skill, level up once. Unlock the next skill after that, level up again and so forth.) Hopefully it'll make the grind less taxing and more rewarding. On top of all of this, the Event Calendar will list how many days it's been since the Seven Stars Academy Grand Opening. That way we won't have any of you looking like you became Royal Guards or max Primes in a few weeks or something. It's for the sake of sheer flavor, nothing changes mechanically. And the Calendar will also list weather as well. Like the days, it changes nothing mechanically. That will be all. Enjoy. | |

| New update. Yeah, I know we're on a roll. This one is regarding Rank 10 Social Links. Once you hit Rank 10, you may share the Demon Mask Persona they bring in battle/dungeon. However, if your partner has one equipped, you cannot equip it until they equip it with a different persona to free it up for your use. This definitely includes during battles. Remember, Demon Mask Personas only. | |

| Getting sick of me? I know, I'm sick of me too. We have a sudden idea we would like the site to try out. Instead of using 10 for your randomizer code, use 100. This will hopefully include the middle numbers between the 10s into your favor as you roll. Please note that you must only roll up to your chance number. Meaning if you have a chance of 15%, you must choose 1 to 15 for the effect. And once the randomizer rolls within 1 to 15, then the effect will be in place. If outside of it, then it won't. Please refer to this thread. I hope that helps. If you have any questions, ask the staff. Thanks. | |

| Yeah, I messed up. Apparently last year we've had some clarifications regarding downs and dizzies. And came down to another decision again. So when you down an enemy, it will come up right away regardless or not you AoA them. Even if you hit the same enemy with crit or down, you don't get an Once More. So to mitigate this I will allow the Baton Pass mechanic to work now. I hope it won't be too much of an issue. | |

| After some consideration and looking at the discussion thread, we finally decide to make a decision. We will go back to the 10 randomizer system for hits/misses/criticals. And keeping 100 randomizers for insta-kills and ailments only. That will be all. | |
