Roy looks like a typical American tourist. He stands at 5' 7", brown hair and shades perched up on his head. The only thing unusual about his face is a gap in his teeth and his purple eyes. He says that they're contacts, but they are naturally like that, since it seems that all Shadows have an unusual eye color. His leather jacket is soft and supple, with a white '50' stitched on the back and a star with a white back ground stitched on his left hand breast. Underneath the jacket is a white T-shirt and black pants. Boots grace his feet and gloves grace his hand, completing his look.

True Self:

His true form is a bit more monstrous than his 'human' form. Roy sits on a throne made from humans, dead, dying, decomposing and dried out. Robes and chains swath this form and a haunting mask covers his face save for the bright yellow eyes which peer out from a curtain of hair. The hair itself is nearly blindingly white and entangled in the throne, the robes, the chains, everything.

Personality: He is truly a strange one. Both charismatic and laid back at the same time does that. He can blend with the most upstart and tightassed people, and at the same time he can hang with the best of the shy, mousy people. He does have a rather unfortunate habit of hitting on everything that moves, but will back off if there isn't interest or if there's fear. He respects other people's opinions. However, he will not allow people to foist their beliefs on to him.

Strengths:

—Strength Name: Cooking
—Description: Since he is vegan, he cannot trust anything that gets put in front of him. He therefore learned how to cook vegan recipes and make them delicious. His signature dish is a tofu/mushroom burger with homemade pickles and fresh sliced tomatoes.

—Strength Name: Charismatic
—Description: Like his other self, Roy is very outgoing. Instead of using it to hurt others however, he uses it to be kind and a positive influence for good. He sticks up for those who don't or can't and champions a lot of causes to help the helpless.

—Strength Name: Empathetic
—Description: "Men don't cry" is bullshit to him. He isn't afraid to feel for others and feel strongly for them. He is the best person to talk to about just about anything when it comes to emotions.

—Strength Name: Omniglot
—Description: Roy is surpisingly fluent in many languages including Spanish, English, and Italian. He has a working understanding of Latin and rapidly picking up Japanese due to being around Japan a lot.

Weaknesses:

—Weakness Name: Laid Back
—Description: It if doesn't concern him or his own, he literally could not be arsed to do anything about it.

—Weakness Name: Vegan
—Description: He cannot stand any thing that came from a living animal. The one exception to this is humans, though he only sucks out their essence instead of outright eating them. Even his jacket is vegan friendly, since the cow had died a natural death and it was tanned without using any harsh chemicals in a special batch for him.

—Weakness Name: Anal Retentive
—Description: Everything should be so and if it is not so, he will either passive aggressively rearrange it or throw a massive hissy fit until it is the way he wants it.

—Weakness Name: Slut
—Description: Man, woman, conditions or not, he'll have sex with them all or at least try. He won't sleep with people younger than 14 however, and that's a blessing in disguise.

The Background

History:
Once upon a time, there was a boy. His name was Alfred F. Jones. He was a charismatic man and like all charismatic men, he was beloved by all. The man was fair of face and of hair, with eyes as clear as ice. His beloved jacket was his signature, so all knew who he was.

However, his face could not hide his dark personality.

Alfred was cruel to those he called friends, alienating his father and barely recognizing his brother as anything other than another to flatter him with praise and affection.

That was, until he visited Japan and found himself in Limbo. He found his other self. The other self tried to help him see his flaws. Alfred did not like seeing those flaws and denied they were there. His other self ate him.

However a peculiar thing happen. The shadow gained something beyond satisfaction of eating another human. This was different. Memories, emotions, hopes, dreams, wishes, vices, habits filled the shadow. And for the first time, the shadow became something more.

The shadow felt pity for its victim. Felt pity for the brother who barely existed in the man's mind, and the father that didn't know how to handle the man but loved him all the same. For the first time, opinions began to form and actions soon followed the opinions. For the first time, the shadow left the safety of his 'home' and went back to his 'family' erasing "Alfred" and replacing him with "Roy." From then on, "Roy" became a better person seemingly overnight, and yet...

And yet... he still craves to eat people. He won't eat the people close to him though. Too conspicuous and he likes them anyway. No, he goes back to his 'home country' of Japan to eat people. It is so easy after all, with Limbo spilling over everywhere in a sleepy little region. What is one or two more people over there anyway?
