Sayu:

Sayu stands at a height of 5’8” and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has pale skin and violet colored eyes. Her skin is mostly flawless outside of the mole found under her eye. Her hair is a dark purple with violet streaks in it that is worn in a long loose braid that almost touches the ground. She wears an elegant hair piece in hair designed to be a purple flower surrounded by a gold piece that holds her hair back on the left side. Her style of clothing is Japanese, with long flowing sleeves and a dress. Her style does reveal skin, but a the same time remains reserved and flowy. She wears long socks that go from purple to black ending in simple flip flop like sandals with red straps and a gold jewel that holds the V shape together. On her left leg she wears an accessory on her leg with flowers on it. She does not wear a smile on her face often and always walks with her head held high showing off both her status and training in the way she behaves and lives. She seems to favor the color purple and also nature, both which she seems to incorporate in her dress wear and such. This reserved look continues to follow a similar patern when she performs her work.

When she is on stage within battle she trades out her oriental outfit for a ruffled V neck mid shirt that ends in a long tie that drapes down her leg. She wears arm covers that go up to her elbow before going off into black ties. She wears brown boots, a black mini skirt with a belt. She wears her long hair loose with beads decorating it and her usually stern face shifts with the more bubbly pop idol attitude she gains. The only big difference between the picture shown and Sayu is that Sayu’s hair remains purple, her skin pale, and the clothing color is in the purple family rather than blue. She also has flower and nature themes woven through out.

Personality: If one were to approach Sayu, the first thing one notices is that she comes off emotionless and cold watching the one before her with a piercing gaze much like a ruler watching a commoner. As a result she can come off intimidating to those unaccustomed to this behavior. However, despite the impression and the way she carries herself she is there to listen to whoever wants to engage with her. She has a quiet and reserved personality and speaks in calm tones with care and manners; however, break through the barrier and one will find she is actually a very curious and soft spoken being, full of kindness and love. She is also shy and can be child like in her behavior when it comes to exploring new areas around her and food.

When on stage, her voice and music makes most stop and listen finding something soothing about the sound. She enjoys nature, her alone time, playing music on her lute and singing, but she doesn’t seem to mind the company of others here and there. She seems especially close with a bard named Tequila that despite his wandering about always manages to find her wherever she may be danger or not due to a bell like anklet she wears that was given to her when she was young. While she is by far not interested in being a big star or hero, she does what she believes is right to help and protect others.

The Potential

Strengths and Weaknesses:

+ Sayu is known as to be the calm in the storm by many who get to know her. She is good at being quiet and listening allowing her to gain information and formulate plans according to what is given. This skill also allows her to give advice and be leveled headed in the emotional storms that others may bring or the fights on the battlefield.

+ Sayu sees all as equals despite her status and this view extends to demons and spirits. As a result, she can negotiate and get along much easier with demons and spirits than others.

+ While Sayu does not look like much, she is nicely toned under her clothing and has been trained in the art of dance and martial arts making her more flexible and acrobatic than most and also allows her to have the skills needed to hold her own in a battle if she needs to fight.

+ Sayu is seems like the most unlikely person to stand up or defend someone, but when she sees something being done that she deems as wrong or even decides on path she sees as more right than another, she will stand firm and fight to protect others and for her belief in when it comes to matters of what is right or wrong.

+ Due to being the head of her family's business, Sayu has been trained to not only handle the finances of the business, but also to know her medicines, herbs, and way around a body to help those that are injured and sick.

- Sayu comes off as emotionless and cold upon first meeting with no smile to be found. As a result people are often intimidated by her or believe she is stuck up in some way.

- Sayu lived a shelter life rarely getting out making her pretty naïve about the world around her. She can become child like or too curious for her own good when exposed to new things that catch her interest.

- For someone so composed it is quite amazing how a small bug will turn this Queen into a small child running for the hills at the sight of them. Exceptions to this rule are butterflies and lady bugs. She is fine with these creatures.

- Sayu is socially awkward and does not understand what it means to have fun in the normal way. As a result it takes her a while to understand activities outside of her box or understand why certain actions or sillinesses are done.

- While she won't say it, Sayu is a sucker for good food and sweets. People say she cannot be swayed or bribed, but perhaps a good meal, drink, and entertainment might at least get her to consider a change if she deems it worth while.

Soul Bound Instrument: (This is the Instrument you'll be able to summon to your hand while in combat. This weapon is special for your character specifically and allows you to fight Shadows and Demons without the need of summoning your Persona. This can be any one Instrument Instruments and Stage Equipment cannot land killing blows and only incapacitate enemies however they can build public image if fighting in public)

Instrument Description: An elegant oval shaped lute with a black neck. It is engraved with purple flowers on its white body and sounds similar to the guitar. The only difference is the lute is easier to carry around than the larger guitar.

Equipment Description: A simple black microphone with a long cord. The microphone acts as a handle as it is the electrical cord that is the weapon acting as a scatter strike weapon. At least it sparkles and makes pretty effects when swung.

Weapon Description: An elegant spear that seems to be made out of electricity. While the weapon itself can indeed be used like a spear. It’s specialty rests in the electric effect around it. Which extends whip like when swung making this a strike type weapon rather than a piercing or slicing type.

Side-Arm Weapon: (This is a ranged alternative to your main soulbound weapon. All Side-Arms at base do the same type of damage (Gun), and you're limited by ammunition. History: Sayu was born into a wealthy family with strict rules and was assigned a body guard of sorts named Tequila at a young age. She was trained to manage the family’s medical business and store – learning their medicines, herbs, healing techniques, finances and more from a young age. When not being drilled on how to run the business, she was drilled on how to walk, speak, eat, dance, play piano, and how to behave as head of the family. Her only peace in her packed schedule was at night when she were she was to stay in her room and read.
Tequila was there to keep her in the room, but if the girl ever wanted to go to the garden or just walk the grounds, he would simply go with her to make sure she was safe. Tequila was the only person that actually listened to her and allowed her to be simply herself. He helped her learn how to the play lute and let her grow her own version of singing and dancing. When she discovered he could perform material arts, she asked him to teach to which he agreed to on the condition she taught him how to run the shop to help her and her family out. With the deal made, Sayu was trained hard during the day by her parents and took to a different sort of training or strolls at night. Despite how busy she always was the girl was pretty happy... that was until her parents passed away when she was 18 causing the weight of the business to fall heavily upon her.

As a result of this, Sayu grew into the cold and hard to read person she is today. Up until recently she has been bound to her home and family property and business hardly going out; however, at the request of Tequila she agreed to take a vacation and travel with him for fun for once. Even if she is very unsure what fun is…
