A different world means a new bond (Cherry and Kogami summer event)

Looking through cherry's memories, he 's gone through some images of a possible outfit that cherry at the very least has worm maybe more than five times and molded the clothing to fit that instead. It felt quite strange for Cherry to use those sort of terms and actually mean it, rather then her just quoting a video game she was playing or a anime she was watching. Soon enough Cherry would feel another surge of energy as a green glow covered her. Her stockings disappeared as her suit was replaced with a more casual T-shirt. Her shorts molding into a long skirt that stopped at her knees. Her hair went back to being on the longrr end, and had returned to it's blonde color. And finally her bare feet getting covered in more comfortable shoes. A slight smile crossed her face as she checked herself out in the car window. "Now that is much better, thank you Kogami."

With that Cherry began to sneak out of the parking lot and began to make her way back to her house. Before she remembered something. "You said you didn't know where we were right Kogami? We are in Shibakuzoi."

"If I asked for permission for everything, id never get a damn thing done. It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission. See? You forgive me already since you got something out of it in the end. It works. " But such things wan's important right now. Kogami sort of used his senses to look around by sharing the vision with cherry. It has been a while since he came back, things looked completely different from what he expected them to be. "Do you live here with your family? It's a pretty busy area, I think you can sue the hell out of that guy if you fake your injuries. With your talents, you can put on a good farce in court and be well off. " Kogami's mind was always moving towards the next scam or opportunity. "So what's your life like anyway? Some sort of grade school student? Those places are a death trap, especially the arrogant kids. Fuck em, take up a trade instead. "

Kogami wouldn't hear anything in response to his comment, but the ten year old would simply roll her eyes. "Yes, I live here with my mom and dad. We should be reaching our house soon enough. And why would I do that? I know you may have done that type of stuff back when you where still aliv- Uh, a human?" She wasn't quite sure if Kogami could still be called a human. Since he was currently in her arm and a snake. But it was the best term she could come up with. "But we will not be doing that here. Lying is wrong! And I was hurt before you healed me, so there will be no suing going on today!" Cherry huffed out before shaking her head. "Yes I am. And my mom says that doing good in school is paramount to a successful future!" She said, stumbling over her words a little bit as she was trying to quote her mother. "And she knows what she is talking about too, she is a lead programmer that works for google!"

"Your mother lied to you, conventional education teaches you nothing. Do you even know anything about money? Of course not, because they opress you by restricting certain skills or knowledge to be readily available to kids. Doesn't that just make you lose hope in humanity a little bit? Or wait, even with my memories, you are growing up quite privileged. You wouldn't get it. " Sucking his teeth, Kogami figured they should do an activity to pass the time. "Alright, let's go for a walk. Maybe check out the parks, arcade, maybe one of the main shopping centers. Or your home. Since I'll be bunking with you for a while, i might as well take a look and see what I'm working with. If i get caught in 4k, just say you are a fan of reptiles. " If she asked for pet snake, that would be a good cover perhaps. At the same time, Kogami could just stay hidden in cherry;s arm. Either or would work for him.

"No she did not! My mom does not lie! If she wouldn't have gone to school, she wouldn't have gotten into computers, if she hadn't gotten into computers she wouldn't be working for google, and of she wasn't working for google then she wouldn't have been able to support the house and give me a good life!" The faith in her mother seemed to be quite strong indeed, and one that she did not seem to enjoy people doubting. "Ugh, yes of course I know about money." She sighed out. Not really enjoying his view or being talked down to. "I know you had a hard life okay and I am not saying that those people who hurt you should roam free or you should have gone through all of that. But I still do not think all you did was quite fair. Having a hard life does not give you the right to harm other innocent people."

Cherry crossed her arm together as she walked down the route to her home. "I just want to go home right now. That way I can maybe take a nap, get something to eat, and tell my parents about what all happen today. With you and those odd people. They're smart. They'll know what to do."

"I'm not going to insult your intelligence, but snitching me out to your parents is the worst thing that you can do. Imagine yourself as a superhero, ever seen the good guys reveal their secret identity? That's not something that they do, right? In the case of the supernatural, you are supposed to keep people uninvolved away from it. The closer they are, the easier it is for them to seek out trouble. I know that they are your parents, but do not tell them about me. I'm still a person, I have my rights to my own privacy and that includes you keeping me a secret."


Kogami didn't trust anyone, he just woke up and he wasn't going to risk being put back to sleep if his hand was forced.


"You need to think, be observant. Before letting people know, do you think your parents weren't in on it? I've made too many mistakes trusting people like that with sensitive information, learn from that!"

"Ironman did." Cherry replied simply, mostly as a joke but it was partly also just to bug Kogami. "I know that the situation I am i- WE are in." She quickly correct, a slight blush on her face. "The situation we are in is strange and maybe even a bit dangerous, but I would really rather tell them about this. Like I said my mother is smart and so is my dad, and they are going to have questions when I come back home after I've been hit by a car anyways. They won't get into any trouble, and they may even be able to help us. They could maybe try and sue the people who did this to us, maybe even the people who hurt you in the past, that should make you happy since you seem to like the idea of suing innocent people." The ten year old said, the last part was a not so subtle jab at him.

The girl let out a heavy sigh. It was annoying but he did have a point about the right for privacy. But she still wanted to tell people about this. So trying to take a page for Kogami's book, she tired to find herself a little loophole. "I am aware that you are still a person, and you do have a right to privacy. However telling people that you exist is not violating that right. Nobody could sue a person simply for telling other people about them. Besides you are in my arm, meaning you are apart of my body. And it is my right to do whatever I'd like to my body. Up to and including telling my parents about any changes. Magical snakes or otherwise." The way she spoke was like a shady lawyer, a tone of voice that actually shocked the girl herself. But she was glad that she could his memories that he forcefully injected into her, against him a little bit.

The next action Cherry would take must have looked totally insane to anybody else watching her. The girl placed her right hand on her hip, and would look down on left arm, her eyes full of comtempt. Those small grey orbs of her's almost burning a hole in the possessed limb with the sheer amount of scorn behind her gaze. "They are not in on this."
