Fine-Tuning (Dior/Abzu interaction - NPC thread)

Long before Dr.Sylvester was the insane Demonic Essence fueled scientist he was but a happy and bright scientist who worked for the Collective, Dr.Sylvester was excited for what today's task was, a special task for him as he got to interact with a Gen 1 ASSW named Abzu, it was exciting for Slyvester as Clovis kept a sealed lip about any info regarding these revolutionary machines, despite the fact that Dior had worked on the Generation 2 models he could only speculate what made the Gen 1 Models so different. He heard the usual rumors about these machines of course such as they were originally humans hence their human-like psyches, but for Dior it was just that rumors with nothing really backing up the claim, it sounded more like science fiction than actual fact.

Dior was sitting in his office making sure that he was aware of the agenda of today's meeting with Abzu making sure everything was ready for her arrival cleaning his tools and the like. it appeared that today's meeting is regarding her Orgia Mode needing some fine-tuning which makes sense to Dior as early in the development of the 2nd Generation of the ASSW The Orgia mode System which caused the Models to experience extreme emotional instability so it wouldn't surprise the Doctor if the Gen 1 Models experienced a similar issue.

When Abzu arrived at his office she would find it an extremely well cleaned and organized space even by the Collective's Standards as Dr.Sylvester greeting her with a friendly tone "Welcome to my office please take a seat." he would gesture the ASSW towards a chair that he placed on the other side of his desk so that the Gen 1 Model would feel comfortable as they would discuss what was going to happen to her. "Hello Abzu pleasure to finally meet you, I am Dr.Dior Sylvester and today we are going to be examing your Orgia Systems to make sure they are up to code." Sylvester offered a reassuring smile to Abzu making sure she would be in a good state of mind before the procedure and testing would start.

"Yeah, Thierry. Don't worry, it's just a check-up." Abzu reassured her friend over the phone for the fifth time that day. She was sure Dior didn't want anything else out of her that day anyway, but Thierry had a history of being a bit of a worrywart when it came to Abzu, and the Collective. He didn't trust them at all, from what she could tell, and the reasons why remained unknown to the Android. "I'm not a little kid, you know. I can handle this myself." She chuckled, amused by her friend's protective nature. "I'll see you all at Luci's once I'm done, alright? Bye, Thierry. And please... don't worry about me, okay?" And with that, the call ended. She stood in front of the large Halcyon Collective's Foundation Building, a large, towering structure close to the Heart of Paris. The giant, glass monolith towered over the residential buildings, surrounded by a few planted trees amongst the asphalted walkways leading to the tall, glass doors. A big sign was affixed above her, with the Halcyon Collective's logotype emblazoned upon it in bright gold and blue. She felt at home here, but it was a different kind of home than her place in Saint-Denise.

She walked inside, greeting everyone she came across, until she reached the Receptionist. "I'm supposed to see Dr. Dior today." She said, providing the Receptionist with her Serial Number. After she was given access, she gave the lady behind the desk an approving nod. "Thank you." She said softly, before heading towards the elevators. Once she had reached the R&D Department floor, she turned a sharp left and headed straight for Sylvester's office, and walked straight inside.

"Thank you, Dr. Dior." She said with a smile, sitting down on the chair as instructed. "Yeah. Dr. Fabron was kind enough to give me a heads up yesterday. Just an Orgia Mode check-up, right? Nothing else?" She asked, curious, despite the rudementary reason behind this visit. She rarely ever went here nowadays, not after what had happened with Luci and Juan that fateful day so many months ago.

Dr.Sylvester gave an approving nod when Abzu spoke about today's appointment "Pretty much unless you have been noticing any issues outside of Orgia Mode." Dior offered an easy smile to Abzu as he offered an explanation in a casual tone "Some of the ASSW have been developing strange personality quirks after prolonged use of Orgia Mode. They have been also suffering from some Hardware failure which rendered them immobile until someone comes along to fix them so today's test will consist of a few questions and an Orgia Diagnostics test so we can see if you will encounter these issues or not." Dior easy-going expression was slowly turning into one of concern as he started to think about one of the Generation 2 ASSWs Juniper who suffered from extreme mental trauma recently due to Orgia mode and how she now talks to a Dinosaur Hand Puppet because of it. Dr.Sylvester couldn't help but think and worry about what was going through the minds of the ASSW when using that Orgia Mode, it should be a simple overclock right the worse that should happen was that the world is that the world slowed down around them? Perhaps that was too much for some of them.

Dior would shake his head as he tried to get on with helping Abzu, he would start to speak to her in a gentle tone to help ease what he is about to say to the Gen 1 Android. "I need to warn you in advance some of the questions might be deemed a little personal, I promise the answers you give will only be used to stabilize your Orgia mode if you are facing any issues and will only be passed on to the appropriate people." Dior gave a sympathetic look to Abzu in an attempt to show he was being genuine about wanting to help. The Doctor felt a little worried about giving that disclaimer but it had to be done as that was the professional thing to do. "The Interview and the Diagnostics test together usually last around 30 minutes to an hour depending on the results we get. Just let me know when you are ready." Dior got his tablet ready to record the interview and to take note of the things Abzu says to him, while the Doctor was hoping to learn more about how the Gen 1 ASSWs were constructed his highest priority at the moment is the ASSW's wellbeing.
