"Oh nice! I haven't seen this before! Cherry said with a bright grin on her face as she grabbed a crushed soda can off of the ground, and brought it up to her face. Trying to get a good look at the object, seeing as the fog made it hard to see all the details from a distance. The quick chat she had with that man named Retuo had really helped her out, he was right. The river really did have some cool things in it! And her latest find was this wonderful crushed can. She tried her best to read the text on it, trying to recall the sounds all the latters made. But with her over all lack of skill when it came to reading, and with how crushed this can was she sadly could not understand it. But that would prove to be the least of her worries.......
"Ah! The young woman cried out in pain, as a strange voice that she has never heard before entered her mind. Making it feel like a hot nail was being pounded into her forehead over and over again, her body jerked up. As she shut her eyes as tight as they could be. This however, gave way to a vision. It was so hard to focus on the finer details of the vision, but she could make out alot of ice and snow. A what looked like a group of people. Followed by a black eye staring dead at her before everything stopped. All the voices, the pain, the vision. It all suddenly came to a screeching halt. By the time it was all over, the woman was panting and had dropped her can down on the ground.
She took a few seconds to try and collect herself, before trying to find out what just happened. "W-what the hell was that?" Cherry softly whispered to herself. Her mind racing with ideas about what had just happened to her. Her first thought was about the ice, as she tried to think of where her vision took place. "The highrise........ What is happening at the highrise? That was the only place it COULD be. But there was still so many more questions. What was that black eye? And what was that voice trying to say to her? She could make out that it was a cry for a help, but other than she could barely piece together what the person was saying. After thinking about it, she was soon faced with a choice. She could just act like this had never happened to her in the first. And continue on with her day, or she could head back to the highrise and see what's up.
The latter wasn't the best idea. This could just be a demon playing some sort of trick on her, or she might be going insane! But Cherry could feel it, deep down in the pit of her stomach. Something was telling her to hurry and go see what was going on, to find answers. And while she had her doubts. Her gut has yet to fail her. Steeling herself, she grabbed the can back off of the floor and placed it inside of her backpack. Before heading off, going in the area that was the coldest. "I hope im not making a big mistake. She mumbled to herself as she started her journey to the highrise.
