Wine For Everyone! (Theodore and Waddle-Dee SL)

The Mermaid's Tear was one of the few places that the massive hordes of Waddle-dee's were not seen, only four of the little aliens were around in this place, and they were always busy doing something weather it was cleaning or repair work, they were always on the move and always doing some little job here and there.

And just like everywhere else in the Ship the normal people of the ship tended to ignore the Little Aliens, almost like they didn't notice them at all, and the little creatures easily weaved their way through the crowds in the bar and on the ship ether taking paths that no one else took or simply slipping through due to the fact that they were so small and oddly quick for their looks.

Regardless it seemed many didn't regard the Little creatures much at all even as one man spilled his drink, before the free round was served, and one of the Waddle-dee's was already there picking up the glass and cleaning the spill before the man even realized the issue, and it was gone again to clean the glass and replace it back on the shelf.

and so the little creatures continued their work, even as the man started to call for everyone's attention, while yes they did look over at him and listen with full attention, they didn't say anything, another thing about them people who lived on the ship were already familiar with, and once the mane was done talking they resumed doing their work around the bar.

In fact no doubt the man in question had also seen hundreds if not thousands of these creatures working along the halls of the ship when he came aboard, staying out of people's way and generally getting on with the menial tasks of day-to-day ship operations silently and efficiently, along with many coloration of them and what appeared to be variations of their species.

Eventually though two of the Waddle-dee's was helping to serve the drinks to everyone, it moved silently table to table carrying a large tray with all the drinks on it, while the other would hop up onto a stool or chair and then serve the drinks to the patrons at the table, before they would move on to the next, eventually they would finish serving everyone and would continue to do little chores around the place, all the while staying as silent as ever.

The Waddle-dee's hearing someone call them over, all went to the table and looked up at the man as he gave them some wine, and as they fulfilled his request to join him at his table, four more walked into the Bar and started to do the work that those four that were now sitting with Theo had been doing, leaving almost no time between when the four took their seats and the four new ones walked in and started to do the work.

They took the offered Wine but none partook of it, but when he mentioned they could have other beverages, after a few moments another Waddle-dee walked up with a tray of four drinks and the Four at the Table With Theo took the drinks and smiled as the other Waddle-dee that brought the drinks waved to them before heading back to do other work.

The Four sat with the man and listened to him, and on him asking them questions, they simply sat there and looked at him and let him finish talking, but once again another Waddle-dee walked up and gave one of the Waddle-dee's a Note pad and a writing Implement before it headed off again.

The one with The note pad continued to listen to Theo as he continued to talk, but as he finished it started to write on the pad, and after some time it finished and turned it around to show him what was written "Hello we are Waddle-dees, and it's okay we do not need a reward, we look after everyone on the ship. Thank you very much for the kind words"

The other Waddle-dees all smiled and nodded as they enjoyed their drinks slowly as they enjoyed their time sitting with the man due to his request.

The Waddle-dee's enjoyed their drinks and sat with Theo, the one with the Note pad pulled it back as Theo asked more question, all four of them waving as he said it was nice to meet them, and he started to ask more questions, as he did so the one Waddle-dee was already writing, but it kepts paying attention to Theo at the same time.

Even as he asked them to tell him about themselves and then went on to ask about how they live and how long they had been together, they all stayed silent and only one was writing, but then Theo started to talk about himself and all of there were paying full attention, even the one writing stopped for the moment to listen as it was only polite after all.

Finally after a bit of time of Theo talking about himself, the Waddle-dee's were geting a distinctly familiar feeling from him and they couldn't help but wonder if had ever once been a large blue penguin? But ether way when prompted the one Waddle-dee with the note pad resumed writing to answer his question.

Finally after writing for a bit they turned the note pad around "We are Waddle-dee's that is what we are called, we don't have seperate names because we are Waddle-dees, we know each other " the first line read and the other three were happily nodding as if the Waddle-dee holding the note pad had read it aloud.

"We come from the planet Popstar, some of us anyway, others crom from Halcrandra, and Robobot, some from Shiver star, we come from all over. We also have been together since the beginning, We are Waddle-dee's we are always together" one more the other three nodded as if the first was reading this aloud and all were smiling happily.

The Waddle-dee's listened to Theo as he said his first bit and the one with the note pad wrote out a message and held up the pad for him to read "Thank you and yes We always together if not altogether then in small groups, because Waddle-dee's always try to be there" the Waddle-dee's looked very happy at the praise even with the worry Theo added in, a worry that didn't seem to bother the little creatures.

Hearing Theo didn't have friends the Waddle-Dee's looked at each other then as Theo continued to talk about how friends will stab you in the back, and they all got up on to the table and walked over across it to Theo till they were all standing near him and the one with the Notepad wrote and turned it around for Theo to read.

"If you don't have friends, we can be your friends if you want? also we won't stab you in the back" the notepad read and the other three waddle-dee's all held their arms open offering hugs.

The Waddle-dee's stood there happily offering their friendship to the man, all smiling and waiting for his reply as he seemed to think about it, the Little creatures were always hopeful that they could always make friends and as the man said he would think of it and excused himself. he then handed the little creatures his card, the one that took it nodded to the man and gave a little salute with a smile as he said they could contact him if they needed his time.

As the man got up and left the Waddle-dee's cleaned the table and straightened it up ready for other people to use before they resumed their work in the bar, the four that came in quickly leaving so that the four original Waddle-dee's could return to work to keep the number of waddle-dee's down in the bar like the owner had requested of the Waddle-dee's.
