| RAID BATTLE RULES As many characters can join the Raid as they wish. There is no alt cast, all characters signed up for the event will be participating in the battle at once. There is no maximum number of party members, but each player can only enter one character into the Raid fight. Each round of combat, the Raid Boss will make Three actions, after which point, as many of the players can act, in whatever order they so choose, but each character enrolled in the raid can only make one attack. The Raid Boss's actions will take place every two days, whether all the participants have taken their turns or not, so make sure to use your time wisely. A Raid boss is never knocked down by a crit or a weakness hit, miss chance must always be rolled unless for a skill's effect. However, Three weakness hits or critical hits in a single round will grant the third party a once more, which they can use to trigger an All Out Attack. In these instances, the All Out Attack's damage is calculated using the four highest Dex values of team members who would normally be able to contribute to an All Out Attack. When a PC reaches 0 HP, they may re-enter the fight only if they are revived within the round following falling unconscious. Otherwise their bodies are considered to have been whisked away in some form or fashion to avoid being outright killed by the raid boss. If all players are reduced to 0 HP by the raid boss, the fight is lost, but a Raid Boss will not result in permanent Character Death, though there may be events or story repercussions based on the nature of the boss. If the Raid Boss is not defeated in the allotted time, the battle will also be lost. In the even of a lost battle, participants will still receive half the rewards, but will not receive any special event items. | |

| RAID BATTLE DIFFICULTY AND RETRIES In PiS, raids have difficulties ranging from Easy to Hard. Only one version of a given raid boss can be fought at the same time, so everyone who signed up will have to fight the raid boss of the community-chosen difficulty. However, if a raid boss proves too difficult, players can opt to give up and retry at a different difficulty, so long as the battle period is still ongoing. A breakdown of difficulties: Easy - ~75% of base stats; ~2/3 max HP Normal - 100% of base stats; 3/3 max HP Hard - ~150% of base stats; ~5/3 max HP | |
