Persona Appearance:

Black Velvet is a blue haired being that is made from metal, book pages, and some form of material that no one can truly identify. Pieces of her body are missing due to the merge she had with her user making her quite the unique being to look at. Unlike her master, she is actually quite tall standing at 5'10" for a woman. She is lean and built for mobility though she can only be seen outside of battle due to the way her user's channel abilities through himself rather than the directly through her or other plugs. It is believed their strong connection to each other is why of all his plug's she is the only one to appear outside of battle situations.

Persona Background: Black Velvet was known as a powerful witch in the past with various abilities that were feared by many. She was actual a demon in disguise searching for a host to help her continue to live even longer when she came across Rika who was dying at the time. It is unknown if it was pity, selfishness, or empathy that caused her to take a gamble on the child and make the deal of sharing part of herself with him; however, she did and when the kid accepted she indeed kept her end of the deal. She was able to live and the kid was able to also though they both paid prices in their own ways for the merge. Still she does not regret her decision and remains a loyal companion that has stayed at Rika's side and works with him to this day. She plans to do this until the day they both die.

Ability Name: Shadow Frenzy
Appearance while in Frenzy:
When in battle in general, Rika let's his demon side take over transforming him into the fox like demon shown above, when in Frenzy mode this form doesn't change much, but it does generate a huge amount of energy that can be seen in the glow of his eyes and his desire to feed on the enemy is not hidden, making him come off more frightening than usual since even allies fear he may turn on them. Though he has yet to do that.  

Description: When overlaying your existence with that of the Shadow Self Plug, you can activate a powerful mode called Shadow Frenzy. Shadows are entities from beyond the Anti-Space, deteriorated forms of Demons, and you can draw this connection to the Anti-Space to temporarily enhance your Potential, effectively entering a frenzied state. In this state, you can link up to 3 skills together in one attack, so long as they’re of the same tier. This state lasts for 3 turns, after which your energy output decreases, your Potential temporarily drained. After using Shadow Frenzy, any skills you use will have their effectiveness halved (applies to all skills, even debuffs, heals, etc) for the following 5 turns. You can only use Shadow Frenzy once per battle. Switching Plugs ends Shadow Frenzy prematurely.
