Why do waddle-dee's waddle? (Alex and waddle-dee SL)

Alex let out a sigh as he walked down the hall, to his room. That little dee was following him again.  It started with waddle (his nickname for the dee) running over to him bringing him some drinks. But now he has started to see waddle following him all over the place! Well, maybe ot was the same one. He couldn't tell for sure since alot of them looked the same but. Something in his gut, told him that it was the same one. Beofre alex opened the door, he would turn back and look at the dee. Hi waddle, do you wanna come in? I got something i want to talk with you about. Alex open the door yo his room and waved the dee in. If waddle came in his room, s/he would find that trash was mostly around the little bin, instead of being inside of it. And that the bed sheets where, quite messy. So uh yeah. This is where i live, make yourself at home. Alex in truth didn't really like his room too much, but hey. He lives here rent free, so he couldn't complain too much.

The Waddle-dee followed along behind Alex carrying the used drink containers till they had passed a garbage and tossing them in for the time being, and then after that it continued to Follow Alex around the ship, the ship was huge and he might get lost after all, though the other reason the Waddle-dee was following the boy was because he had given him food, and said his room was always open, and then he turned around and openly invited the little Waddle-dee in who nodded and entered the room.

Seeing the place in a state of disarray the Waddle-dee leaped into action and scooted on over to the waste bin and picked up the garbage and put it in, locating the lid and placing it neatly on the bin, before waddling on over to the bed and starting to tidy that up as well, taking them off the bed for a moment to straiten the beds mattress before putting the sheets back on and tucking them in at the corners properly, it then fluffed the pillow and placed the blanket and pillow on the bed perfectly centered and well folded leaving the bed perfectly well made before it turned around to look at Alex and give a little Salute.

He had said it could make this it's home to, so it looked around and spotted the desk and hopped up onto it and sat down, looking at Alex again to see if he needed anything.

Hey, hey. Dude you don't have to clean up the place. Alex looked in awe as he saw the little dee clean up his room. The little guy was fast, and damn good at his job. He felt a little sad, knowing that he would probably mess it up later. Ummm thanks but, you really didn't have to do that you know? Alex sat on the bed and started to think of how to ask waddle, the age old "why are you following me?" question. He could just come right out and say it, but that may hurt the little guy's feelings. And plus he wasn't scared or creeped out by the dee following him. He just thinks its a little weird. After a while, alex would decide to make some small talk first before asking the question. So, ummmm. The weather is p- (Wait we're in space there isn't any weather.) Ummm. Do you have any brothers or sisters?

The Waddle-dee sat there on the desk as Alex seemed to think about things, and after he thanked it the Waddle-dee gave a little salute in return as it was glad it could be of help even if just a little, and it continued to sit there seemingly quite happy with things as they were as it had a happy in it's eyes as it slowly rocked back on forth, gently grabbing it's feet so that it could rock back and forth a bit more.

The little guy seemed to not mind the silence at all and was seemingly simply enjoying being there in the moment as it looked around the room as if planing what else to do next, but then Alex spoke up and it looked back at him, the question seemed rather strange at first, but then the boy changed it to a different question and the Waddle-dee nodded to the question, as it looked around, now though it was looking to see if there was a notepad and pen nearby or if it would need to have another Waddle-dee bring one down.

Oh you do? Thats cool, do you like them? Alex would look at the dee for a few seconds, before remembering that s/he could not speak. Oh, sorry man. Forgot you can't talk, hold onnthere has to be something to write in somewhere. Alex walk over to his closet, and opened it up. Then after a bit of digging, he would find a little notebook and a pink pen. Here you go. Alex would hand it over to waddle, and would sit back on the bed. So are you a boy or a girl? Did they have genders? Alex couldn't really tell. They seemed to run around naked all the time so maybe there all genderless? But then how are new dee's made? Are they clones? Do they spilt apart at a certain age? Or maybe there like those bugs, that implant their eggs into other bugs. And then there babies come out and eat the bug for food, after their first born? Alex really hoped that they didn't reproduce that way.

The Waddle-dee watched alex as he asked his next question, and it sat there trying to figure out how to answer, but then Alex got up and mentioned getting the little guy something to write, and so it sat there and waited for him to get said writing implement and surface, after a few moments of digging said items were procured and handed to the little Waddle-dee who happily took them and gave a little wave as thanks.

The little Waddle-dee started to write on the notepad, to answer the question asked of it, it wasn't the first time a Waddle-dee was asked that question and so the writing time was fast "I am Waddle-dee" it said simply as it held the notepad up so that Alex could read it, the little Waddle-dee giving almost a sage like nod as it that one statment perfectly cleared up any confusion, and really..so far many people seemed to accept that answer and so it seemed enough for most.

Alex would wait for little guy to finish writing in his notebook, so that he could read it and find out the answer to his question. Luckily for him, he didn't have to wait long before the guy finish up. After the dee showed him the notebook alex would stop. And then read it again, and then reread it for a third time, and then reread for a fourth time. After a while alex would take the notebook and flip it upside down, JUST to see if there was any secret message hidden in there. But sadly there was none. Oh, no i didn't mean your name i meant like, uh. God how do i explain this Did s/he know what the difference between a women and man where? Maybe they really did have only one gender. You know what, whatever nevermind that. Did anything else live on popstar? Anyone waddle-cee's or waddle-bee's? Alex at this point has forgotten the reason why he brought waddle in his room in the first place, and is now more focused on finding out more about this weird little alien.

The waddle-dee waited for Alex to finish reading the notebook and then took it back as he asked his next question about their home, it nodded and started to write right away on the notepad, stopping now and again as it seemed to stop to think a bit before continuing on, what it was doing was asking other Waddle-dee's the names of the other races that lived on Popstar for the ones it didn't know about personally and then adding them to the list it was making of all the residents it could think of.

after some time it looked at the list and nodded to itself, it seemed pretty complete, though the waddle-dee wasn't sure if Alex wanted to know all the residents or just a general Idea, it decided to stick to things in the Green Greens area for the time being as a starting point as the list in it's mind had been rather expansive "Bloppers, Grizzos, Koozers, Poppy Bros. Jr.s, Tookeys, Cappys, Sir Kibbles, Twizzys, Waddle Doos. And that's just in the Green Greens plains and hills area alone", it was a fair list of residents the Waddle-dee thought.

After the dee has finish writing, alex would lean down and read the list of names. Huh, all these names sound like something out of a video game. Alex thought to himself, with a smile. Like, he could swear that bloppers where a enemy from a video game, he was pretty sure it was from mario. And that sir kibbe guy sounded more like, one person instead of a whole race. And they called there countries "areas?" How odd. What stood out most in the list, to alex at least. Was the waddle doos. Hmmm? What are waddle doos? Maybe they where some, distant cousins to the dees, like with humans and the....... The........ Whatever the bigger hairy guys where called, alex forgot there names. But he knew that they where stronger than normsl humans. And maybe it was the same thing with the doos, they where dumber, but stronger than the dees. Or who knows, maybe the dees are the stronger one's. Alex would have to wait for waddle, to write back before he could find out the truth.

The Waddle-dee Waited till Alex was done reading what it wrote, then it sat there looking at him as he seemed to consider what was written, and then Alex asked what a Waddle-doo was and the little Waddle-dee started to write immediatly as it wanted to answer his question, and every Waddle-dee knew what a Waddle-doo was, after all they were one of the few other races that could speak, hear, and understand, the Waddle-dee spoken language.

The little Waddle-dee took a bit longer this time to write things out as it was also drawing a picture of what a Waddle-doo looked like so Alex would see, and it seemed to overall be quite a happy little Waddle-dee as it wrote out what it had to say about the Waddle-doo's, finally after finishing what it was doing it turned the notepad around for Alex to read and see the picture it drew.


"Waddle-doo's are our friends, they would Lead them and translate for us so others could know what we were saying, they were also much stronger then us and had magical powers that let them shoot eye beams!  they would attack those that threaten the them or us Waddle-dee's, they were very nice to us too and we liked having them around" The little Waddle-dee then showed it's plug to Alex showing that it was a Waddle-doo plug.

Wow, waddle that drawing is amazing! You gotta teach me how to draw some time! Alex has always wanted to get into drawing, but he was too lazy to put any actual effort into it. But maybe with a actual teacher that would change? Maybe, but that question is best saved for another time. For know, alex would read waddle's explanation of the doo's. Before he could say anything about that however, waddle pulled out its plug and showed it to alex. Hey i never seen that color on a plug before! Hold on, let me show you, mine. Alex would take teufel out of his module, and show it off to waddle. Pretty cool huh? His name is teufel, and he is my favorite plug. Alex would put, teufel back into the module. Before taking out two more plugs. One of them being a blue plug, and another being a red one. And here is the rest of them. The red one is called slogutis, and the blue one is called eostre.

The Waddle-dee looked at the plugs that Alex was showing it and then nodded and tok out two more plugs itself, once matched Alex's the other was a green one that was SPD, many Waddle-dee's had the other two plugs but some had different plugs rather then Waddle-do. After showing the plugs and looking over Alex's it popped the plugs back in and looked to alex rbefore writing on the note pad once more.

"Well I can teach you to draw if you want, when ever you want to have a session, I will be glad to help out" the note said as it turned it back around to Alex so he could read it, the Waddle-dee was very decent at drawing, but of course a person that was a proper artist could do far better then the little Waddle-dee, but every Waddle-dee could decently draw now thanks to one of them learning, and them all shareing and teaching each other new skills.

Of course on mention of being asked to teach drawing there was now a Waddle-dee racing around some storage rooms collecting the things that could be useful for teaching how to draw, the Waddle-dee with Alex having requested things get put together and placed in a storage room near Alex's Quarters for his Waddle-dee to go retrieve once Alex decided if he wanted to learn or not.

Alex looked over the plugs that waddle brought out and smirked. Hey is that the sleep demon? You know that was the first demon i killed. Well, kinda. I had some help, but i killed the shadow version of the guy by myself! Alex said with pride in his voice. I mean anytime you're free am fine with. You seem to be pretty busy, alot so i don't mind waiting. How much VC for a session? I don't have too much left after buying slogutis, but i think i should have enough. Out of the blue alex realized something. So far alex has been the one asking all the questions, but maybe the little guy wanted to more about him? You know, you can ask me questions too, If ya want. Alex was from the past so he wouldn't be too surprised, if the little guy wsnted to grill him a bit. Though with how passive waddle was, he also wouldn't be surprised if s/he didn't want to ask him anything at all.

On hearing the question on if it was the Sleep demon the Waddle-dee nodded and listened to Alex explain about having killed one, more then likely it had happened during that situation with the ship colliding with something in non-space, it was good he could defend himself and others, the Waddle-dee knew Alex was one of the ones responsible for helping Eli get the engines up and running again a task that really helped everyone on the ship.

As Alex then mentioned paying the Waddle-dee it shook it's head and started to write another note on the pad, and after a moment it turned it around so Alex could read it "No need to pay is free, and thank you for helping save the ship before" the Waddle-dee smiled as he let Alex read the page before taking the notepad and turning it around to write on it once more as Alex mentioned he could as questions to, after another few moments it turned the pad back around again "is there anything you need me to do?" it asked as it wanted to be as helpful as possible.

Are you sure waddle? I have enough to spare, and plus i can always get more on missions. Those demons and shadows also drop VC! Actually, why do they drop VC? Thats a little weird now that i think about it. Do they have to pay for things? Do demons run shops? Alex hoped not, the last thing he needs to almost kill a demon and for them to drink some meds and heal themselves. Or worse, for them to have plugs of their own. God thats a scary thought, demons with a module and plugs. Thankfully, because of how modules work alex was pretty sure that they couldn't put it on. When alex saw that the little dee wanted to helpnout more, he couldn't help but crack a small smile. It was very cute how much s/he wanted to help out. Actually there is something i wpuld like you to do. Alex walked over to waddle, and gave the little guy a pat on the head. Make sure you don't overwork yourself ok?
