| We've already gone over the basic introductions. Personas in Space, or PiS, is your chosen sideplot. Thus, give yourself unto me, relax and read up on this comprehensive guide to your stay at the SS Philemon. --THE INTRODUCTION--- Spoiler:
It all began with the stars shutting down. One by one, people lost hope and the world was bathed in darkness.
Stars, you see, show us the way. They've shown us the way for the longest time, so without them, we were lost. Every single one of us lost. Perhaps that is why the world disappeared. Maybe because we could no longer wish for tomorrow, that tomorrow ceased to exist. But also, perhaps, that is why today we could all stand together, at the scape of our dreams, reawakened. Shaken, we stood in the sun, as our Personas formed the world around us. Potential, everyone holds- no, everyone is infinite potential. And so long as that's true, can we say the world is over?
A single Lone Star still lights the path forward for us. For you. So... Awaken. In this Shard of existence. Plug. The Persona module.
And soar into space of your own imagination-...for that is where I await you.
--- --THE SETTING: ANTI-SPACE--- Spoiler:
Personas in Space's story is set within a world that has already ended. Any and all Space has been nullified, in its place leaving only the hollow and empty nonexistence, aptly dubbed as the Anti-Space. Millions of species inhabiting the world of Personas in Space vanished with the Space, but a handful managed to yet affirm their existences even after this event, holding within themselves the potential of Persona. Cognitive species managed to retain their sense of self within the Anti-Space, slowly birthing a new Space around themselves, serving as a sort of generator for the recreation of the world.
Large scale operations began as individuals and species came together, creating the Persona Module System, using it to affirm greater areas of Space within the Anti-Space. Worlds were being reborn and Space reestablished, but the danger was far from gone...
Anti-Space still looms over the entirety of Space, threatening to plunge the world into darkness yet again, this time permanently...
---
The destruction of Space occured a couple hundred years ago, no one knowing the exact point in time when it occured, as no one can say for sure how long their existences remained dormant within Anti-Space until finally regaining their sense of self. You were born into this world, unless you're from a species with really long lifespans... Then you maybe even experienced the world before the destruction of Space too.
The Pre-World and the Post-World.

| --CHARACTER CREATION: PERSONA PLUGS--- Spoiler:
Plugs come in many shapes and sizes. The color signifies the form your potential will take when ran through the Module equipped with that Plug. Blue for Order Persona, Red for Chaos Persona, Green for Unstable, Yellow for Weapon, Gray for Shadow Self. Each plug can be loaded with one Persona (or otherwise) of its corresponding type. Plugs are interchangeable like equipped Wild Card Personas in battle.
Each plug has its own progression which depends on the amount of skills loaded into it and the type of Persona within it. Each plug will also grant you stat progression per rank up. Additionally, you'll be able to load extra skill slots into your Plugs, either by buying them or by winning them in combat. Each Skill Slot has its own Tier signifying the power level of the skill you're able to load in it. There are some restrictions though. For example, a Tier 3 Skill Slot might require you to first have a certain number of other skills unlocked on your Plug before being able to complete its rank-up. Tier 4 will require Tier 3 skills to have already been loaded and unlocked before it itself is available for unlocking.
Replacing Skill Slot from one Plug with those of another is also possible, but at a fee.
Oh, and each plug is also characterized by its Arcana, which cannot be changed after having been set up.
---
-RATINGS- Persona Plugs are arranged by their [Rating]. The Rating of the Persona Plug determines its maximum power. Ratings range from [Rating 1] to [Rating 5], with 5 being the most powerful. Ratings determine a plethora of the Plug's characteristics, including their stat growth, skill levels, numbers of ranks attainable per level and etc.
-LEVELS- Persona Plugs posses levels. A [Rating 1] Plug's maximum level is 1. A [Rating 5]'s maximum level is 5. You get the idea. Plugs' special abilities grow more powerful at levels 3 and 5. Additionally, higher tier skills will naturally be unlockable the higher a Persona Plug's level. Also stat growths of the Plug would grow. These statistics also vary between different types of Plugs.
Leveling up your Plug is possible upon fulfilling certain criteria.
-STATS- Each Persona Plug has its own stats. Your total stat total in combat is calculates as the sum of your own stats (determined by your character's level) and the stats of all the equipped Persona Plugs. In your Compendiums, do take note to raise each Plug's stats individually.
--- --CHARACTER CREATION: PERSONA MODULES--- Spoiler:
Persona Modules are devices equipped somewhere on the user's body (most often the arm) that connect to their nervous system, giving artificial shape to the potential within them. By loading Persona Plugs, one can access their potential, giving it a temporary shape contained within the Plug's data. This is most often a second body, in other words-a Persona, but it could also be a weapon of some sort or one might even allow their innermost desires to overlay their body temporarily, giving it a new shape and powers. Persona (Order/Chaos/Unstable), Forgotten and Shadow Self Plugs are obtainable items that can either be bought or won by defeating enemies in PiS.
Additionally, your Persona Module will also serve as your main communicator and a method of accessing your items and funds. In other words, it's also the IC version of your Compendium.
Oh and it has to be...err...attached to your body. Removing it forcefully would likely mean loss of limb or worse. Heheh...
---
-RATING- You cannot equip as many Plugs as you want to your Persona Module. Same as Plugs, Modules also have Ratings, and the sum of the Plugs' Ratings equipped to the Module cannot exceed the Modules' Rating. So a [Rating 5] Module would be able to equip only a single [Rating 5] Plug.
This can be upgraded.
However...
-CAPACITY- Modules also have a capacity of 3, meaning you cannot equip more than 3 Plugs to a single Module, even if their Ratings are still less than the Module's. For example, you'd be able to equip only 3 [Rating 1] Plugs to your [Rating 5] Module, even though their sum is [Rating 3].
This can be upgraded.
--- --CHARACTER CREATION: CHARACTER TYPES--- Spoiler:
Characters in PiS do not have an inherent class they must be associated with at the moment of character creation, as the Persona Modules and Plugs render such classes obsolete. Instead, characters are set apart by their biology, or lack thereof, divided into three types: Humans, Aliens and Anti Shadow Suppression Weapons (ASSWs). Each of the character types has special characteristics and customization options associated with it, which are explored below in detail.
- -CHARACTER TYPE #1: HUMANS-- Spoiler:
Humans are a widespread species of individuals that have largely retained their sense of self within the Anti-Space. They inhabit a large portion of the known Post-World and generally tend to interact with most other species in many different ways, so long as the environments aren't too harsh.
Humans are varied but simple being, with many lack clear focus as they tend to struggle with identity and whatnot. Typical edge. As such, the bonus granted to Human characters is the following:
[Human characters gain an additional 3 stats to distribute freely on every level up]
This bonus increases by 1 on levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70, maxing out at a value of 10. Additionally, Humans gain a new ability at level 35, as they train their Potential.
- -CHARACTER TYPE #2: ALIENS-- Spoiler:
Aliens are all species with cognitive abilities and access to the Potential that aren't human. As such, doggos and other animals would also fall under this Character Type.
Coming in all shapes and sizes, Aliens tend to have specific abilities or boons relating to their biologies. This can be anything from better eyesight to stuff like telekinesis or telepathy. Generally, these abilities are separate from the Potential as they stem from the Aliens' biology. However, if the Alien species' biology is somehow directly connected to the Potential... As such, the bonus granted to Alien characters is the following:
[Alien characters gain an additional Strength associated with them that doesn't require a Weakness connected to it. As such, they start off with one Strength more than they have Weaknesses.]
This Alien Strength can be slightly more powerful than your typical Strength. Imagine regular Strengths as being Tier 0,5. An Alien Strength would be Tier 1,5. This ability is, unlike the other Character Types', static. However, it can get upgraded at level 35 to reflect the Alien getting more used to it and better at utilizing it.
- -CHARACTER TYPE #3: Anti Shadow Suppression Weapons-- Spoiler:
Lifelike humanoid (or alien shaped) robots, or androids, or toasters. Either way, these automated and self-aware robots have been built in order to harness the power of the Potential and help combat the threat of Anti-Space. However, being an ASSW in these times can be dangerous, as a hivemind of ASSWs intent on assimilating all life in the Post-World has been ravaging civilizations all over the place. This puts ASSWs in a spot of distrust but also even greater danger of being assimilated themselves.
ASSWs have built-in Persona Modules.
ASSWs hold the power to overclock themselves-the Orgia Mode. However, within the Persona Module system and its interchangeable Plugs, Orgia Mode transforms into something slightly different.
[ASSW Characters gain the Orgia Mode, activated upon the activation of any of their Plugs' special skills]
Orgia Mode activates automatically (this isn't optional) when a special ability, such as the Order Persona Plugs' Fusion Attack or Weapon Persona Plugs' Last Life. Orgia Mode lasts 3 turns during which the user has full access to the equipped Plug's currently activated special ability (such as using the Fusion Attack up to 3 times instead of only once). Additionally, skill costs are halved (stacks with Shadow Massacre's cost halving ability), and user can take an extra action within the PvS combat phase. After Orgia Mode, the user suffers the full reprecussions of their activated special ability on top of being unable to take any actions for 3 turns. Additionally, attacks against the user will have a 30% chance to knock them down while they're overheating from this enchanced Orgia Mode.
Orgia Mode branches out into different upgraded Orgia Modes at level 35. These special Orgia Modes are referred to as Hot and Cold Orgia Mode.
