| The district leader of sunlake palms? That was pretty new for Raphael to hear about, he had no real clue about this district leader or what role they played in all of this. Much to Raphael's knowledge, this could just be another piece to the puzzle. How was he to believe that a district leader knew nothing about what went on in their district? Raphael couldn't believe that.
At the very least, he was told the gender of the district leader right off the bat.
"A recluse? Is it that the district leader of sunlake palms doesn't care to enjoy the beautiful sun and weather of this area? It is quite the same, I ended up meeting you in person in his steed. "
Ok, that was enough compliments, for now, time to get to work.
"It is quite curious you should say that, the fact that he's a recluse. Why do you think that is? Has he ever made a personal appearance before? Id figure the neighborhood would feel a little more reassured if he displayed an apparent interest in what was happening. "

| Despite the constant praise, the redhead's mood was still awfully spoiled when she scoffed irritably at her recollection of the District Head. "Who even knows? No one's ever seen him leave his offices... or his residence. He's sounds like one of those 'things" the Japanese call... Hikkiko...something. Last I heard, he's been some kind of horror movie enthusiast. Stuff like that is going to end up rotting your brain in the long run watching those all day. Urgh, makes you kinda glad he's got staff doing most of the managing for him at least. I know some people say his room smells funky... Ugh." | |

| "I believe the term is hikikomori, those who are socially withdrawn. But horror movie enthusiast? I wouldn't be surprised if people started to film that Forrest of the lost like a movie itself, already has a few legends surrounding it from what I heard. "
The fact that this man was a shut-in was useful, the fact that he loved horror movies didn't seem relevant to Raphael at the time. However, knowing that there are people who are close enough t see his room and even be allowed to talk about how it was inside made it seem like security was a little lack. It had to be if lips were this loose.
"All of that youth spent inside, what I would give if I was a few years younger again. "

| "All of the rumors behind that place are so... unsavory. With all that going, you would think he would be more enthusiastic and make his own movies than be stuck all day inside." The woman sighed as she leaned more comfortably against her seat. Her lackadaisical demeanor deflated her interest in the conversation. But it did pique her interest enough in regards to the old man's musings. "You aren't quite an old wizened slouch yourself, mind you. But I can't imagine that being easy... Got plenty of regrets on your shoulders?" | |

| "Making their own movies? Well, yes... with the kind of freedom that they have, this is pretty much the perfect background. Sunlake palms, seems like the perfect little town where nothing bad could possibly happen. And you, you have the perfect look about you that screams heroine to lead the film, if you were ever interested in acting I'm pretty sure that's how it would have gone. "
Any regrets for him?
"You are interested....are you? There is a point when you feel like you are on top of the world, you feel invincible.... and yet... those well off who have achieved such things would make statements of trading it all for a few years back. Or better yet, to do a few things differently..."
What could he say at this moment?
"Madam....at this time.... I wouldn't want to bog you down with my old stories, so all I can do is give you advice. Travel as much as you can, spend less time about worrying about what you can't do. Take a chance on yourself, some risks are worth the reward. Continue to go to those community hot yoga classes in the neighborhood and take care of your body...and most of all.... and some people might take this one for granted. Be very careful in choosing the right partner. It's the important decisions a human being can make."
That last part was a little sad, and to be honest, not even Raphael understood it himself. It was like there was something inside of him....deep inside... beyond the contents and understand of the twin starred magician arcana... that felt such a sadness towards what was being said. Maybe he was just getting into the role.
"I'm sure you are doing just fine, so take what I said with a grain of salt. "

| All flattery aside, the woman noticed the tinge of sadness inside the 'old' man and she could feel it as he deliberated outlined his advice to him as she carefully listened. When Raphael finished, she carefully smiled back at him. "I'll keep it all in mind. I'll give one in return for you: Take it easy, you deserve it."The receptionist then would call out a woman's name. The redhead sighed and finally began to rise from her seat. "I hope you'll find a good home here. Until next time..." She gave a nod, signalling their farewell before leaving for the hallway leading to the consultation offices. ---------------------- From the central desk where the stoic receptionist was stationed, Raphael could hear her voice calling out. "Mister Wolf, you will be up next. Please be ready to move to the offices when prompted."QAS Phase Initiated!

| This was rather exhausting, as a matter of fact, Raphael could feel as if this was the longest time that he's ever been in his demonic masquerade form. It sometimes felt a little too real to him, always trying to be someone else or adapt to being someone else to fit in at a certain crowd. Even now, he felt like trying to be the brother he hasn't even had the pleasure to meet would have been easier on him than to be himself. He was still a Gatsby, just not the one they wanted. "Well then...."Taking out a small snuff soul from his pocket and popping it in his mouth like it was a tic-tac, Raphael would start to move about as he went on over to the priest that was standing in the room. "Penny for your thoughts...father? I take it to be quite the blessing for you to be here today, putting in prayer for all the new homeowners and their safety. I know I just approached you but judging from the salt and pepper, it seems you know a little more about the old school, a lot that the young seems to forget or not appreciate. "Talking to the preist OOC: I kno hes the guy that destroyed telos, you would think id just try to avoid him but nooo XD stats - Spoiler:

| Jorge hunched over his knees with one elbow against his thigh and one palm propping up his glum face. His spectacles made a cursory glance at the 'old man' before him. The newspaper in his hand crumpled slightly as he opened it up as if to remember and reference something relevant. This person had a good height on him standing toe to toe to the lounging-about clergyman. It seemed odd anyone had enough of an interest or boredom to approach a man of the cloth, the more known boring people on this Godforsaken Earth. But, he wasn't going to decline an opportunity to whittle away the time. The priest heaved a sigh. "But I gotta say, so much got heavy pretty fast as of late. Only the Lord will be there to receive them, free from the pain and of the fear... I take it you're here for a home like everyone else?" | |

| "Our true nature huh, tends to age rather gracefully like a fine vineyard of Endymion's best wine. At the end of the day, we grow up to be either the best or worst versions of ourselves. But nowadays, I like to be positive. As a matter of fact, seeing a clergyman in person in a casual scenario like this reminds me to do so. "
Easy now, Raphael's wine addiction was starting to show a little bit.
"Father, home is where the heart is. As long as your faith remains strong in times of great peril, even a simple apartment could be considered as the best of homes. But, my line of work has allowed me to look for something a little more sustainable. I mean, in spite of the violent rumors going about. "

| "Gotta admire that positivity. 'm afraid I've aged like a raisin and that probably ain't a great indicator to use. Ha! I could really go for some wines at this time, a Gagliopo would be nice. But all of the Sisters in the Church just had to get on my case about setting an example for others." The Priest groused with the newspaper now forgotten as it was tossed aside to an empty seat. His mouth twitched for the long absence of his favorite beverage and for a smoke. Too bad this place was a no-smoking zone. If only they had the decency to carve out a space for that. He found himself chuckling at Raphael with a twinkle in his eye. "Well, sounds like you could do a better job than I being a priest. Could always use more people within the Cloth. Say, what kind of work have you been up to? Must be loading you with tons of dough if you're picking this district out of all places to settle." | |

| "I would say something about "moderation", the blood of christ would mostly be wine during my communion, so there is a chance of some wiggle room if you desired it. At the same time, maybe doing it for the sake of doing it won't bode too well if you are trying to save face. But atlas, this is a brave new world father, with new challenges, we should be able to enjoy the little things. Go out with a few buddies maybe? "It made sense to Raphael anyway. "Funny you mentioned cloth, I deal with fabrics. I judge their worth, feel out the texture, have a say for some startup clothing companies that want my opinion on whether it's comfortable enough or going in and out of style. It seems small, but for those who take great pride into their brand or see the power of having a brand, they would take the steps to ensure it's on top. But even for the daily hard worker, this district seems to be in a bit of a bind at the moment from what I heard as of late."stats - Spoiler:

| "Wiggle room? Moderation? Bah! I just drink whenever I can. If the Lord has such a problem with my fondness for the drink, he wouldn't have turned water into it! But no, 'fraid I ain't got the friends for it, for all of this priestly duty is worth." The Priest scoffed and dismissively waved his hand away at the suggestions. Brave new world, he says. Hardly anything changed much where it counted, at least in his eyes. While listening at Raphael's answer, the priest leaned back and drew out what looked like a zippo lighter and a box of cigarettes. But a cursory glance at the "No-Smoking" sign nearby caused his expression to darken in annoyance and the items to withdraw back in his pockets. "Consultation work, huh? Guess they pay tons for that kind of stuff nowadays if you're worth the salt. Yeah, this District boasts safety and community in return for plundering your life's savings. But even with that guarantee, life's still pretty tough to get by in this City... Hope you can actually afford to be around here. Debt's no joke in these parts, especially when it comes to their forgiveness procedures." | |

| "I don't mind being for your friend, can join you for a smoke every now and again. That kind of downtime sets a good pace with how we conduct our day. The lord didn't say anything about us having hobbies. "
However, Raphael's eyes raised up when he heard about the debt in sunlake palms and the forgiveness procedures.
"I'm quite curious, what do you mean by forgiveness procedures? I do understand that you sind a contact for the mortgage, but is there something that's done differently in sunlake palms? Or is it Endymion as a whole?"
He was just eliminating it, the possibility that these forgiveness sign overs weren't something akin to signing your life away to the government or whatnot. He was also trying to make sure that it wasn't a scam.
