Appearance:Alexandre has coily hair reunited in some locks; he does not take very good care of it so they usually seem messy and in disorder. His left check is covered by a scar he got during the catastrophe five years ago. He may seem intimidating during a first meet because of his scar or maybe because he do not smile often. He is not very much muscular, but quite tall ( 5, 9 foot and 135 lbs). He usually wears a white or black shirt with his red leather jacket and a black or white trouser. During winter he wears some winter hat to avoid getting sick. When in school he wears the usual uniform of the academy but avoid taking it, mainly for his Part Time job has a bartender. He has a tattoo on his left hand representing the veve (symbol) of Papa Legba, a voodoo god of death and writers.

Alternate Appearance:When Alexandre awakens to his true potential his face is entirely covered by a long nosed white mask with a curved and creepy smile. His red jacket is changed into a red long coat with some golden pattern. Under this red coat he still has a white or black shirt and some scarf of the opposite color (white If the shirt is black and vice-versa) The same logics goes for his trouser, tie and gloves which will be black if the shirt is white. Some chains are attached to his trouser. He possesses a belt where he may put his main and secondary weapons. Unlike the picture he keeps his coily hair under this form. He will break each time his mental shackles by performing a little French theatre speech reflecting his mood.

Personality:Alexandre seems most of the time as the free and cool-headed kind of guy. He is most of the time calm in his decision making and does all things with selflessness to help anyone, would it be another student or a person that he is not related with. He loses his composure when working on some drama, writing or another project where his creativity can be of any use. Usually he does not speak a lot with someone he does not know. If he starts to use strange words and unusual sentences, it means he is at ease with you. He loves to cook for his comrades so that he may approve his recipes thanks to their advices. He despises violence (or at least real violence) and can’t stand any kind of bullies and will most likely interact with any punks disturbing the peace of other students at the academy. He has the bad habit of always thinking that he is nothing. That no matter what he does, it will never be of any use. It is the most irritating part of his personality has he is always very motivated by his projects and give all his soul into anything he start. He can’t stand the sadness of the peoples that he loves and will do his best to help them win against their hardship. But since 9 months ago something changed his way of thinking. Sometimes while watching unfair events like bastards trampling on the weak a little voice whisper in his ears. “Welly welly well my dear brother, should we go paint the rot of this bezoumni guy in scarlet krovvy? Or should we help him have his way with the devotchka, maybe afraid her a bit with our nosh so that she begs for her life!” Alexandre found another part of him that he despised his will to do ultra-violent acts. 9 months ago the death of his father pushed him into doing reckless acts and that is when the voice started to ring in his head. The fact that he has no family anymore makes any relationships priceless for him has he know their values.

—Description:Even though he is a little intimidating Alexandre is a very emphatic guy (not so much when he wear is mask). As such he may help a person feel at ease with him even if the person is the shy or socially awkward type.

—Description:Alexandre speaks almost fluent English but it may be sometimes hard to understand what he is saying. It can be linked to his accent, way of saying thinks or even his bad habit of using some Nadsat words when speaking English. Nadsat is a fictional language used by the main character of the novel A Clockwork Orange. It Is a melting pot of Russian, English and French used to show the rebellious behavior of the main character will also making him a bit more likable for the reader.

—Description:After awakening to his persona Alexandre will sometimes feel the need of his other self for meaningless but beautiful violence. As such when wearing his mask he may start to make suffer until he is satisfied shadows/demons or even other persona-users. Alexandre despise this part of himself and will do is best to avoid this change of heart but sometimes even his will won’t be strong enough.

—Description:Alexandre has convinced himself with the time that all he does is, at some level, a failure. The reasons behind this way of thinking are unsure even for him. But will it be his work on a play, any task he do to help a friend or even himself the only sentence that will get out of his mouth will be “It’s not enough”. This way of thinking must be linked to how all his theatrical activities end tragically. As such courage takes twice as long to level up.

Side-Arm Description: It is a AMT AutoMag III like gun. Alexandre name it Hell Symphony in reference to the inscription on the weapon “ Hellsing” that he see has a question. Hell sings what? The Hell Symphony. This gun have a lenght of 10,75 in.

The Background

History:Alexandre was born in Paris and lived a happy childhood with his mother, Rachel and his father, Richard Jeanson. Her mother gave him a passion for writing, but also theater and before long started to read her favorite books, learning some texts written by Aimé Césaire, a francophone writer from the Martinique. He was at the time very shy and his only true human contact was with her mother since his father was most of the time oversea for his work. Then the catastrophe happened and even if France stands without too much damage after this terrible event the mother of Alexandre was one of the few peoples who died during the tragedy. Alexandre had to push himself to growth to assist his father now that they only had each other. He started to cook for him and help him by anyways possible. They forged a really deep relationship, almost as deep as the one Alexandre had when he was a child with his mother. This relationship was mainly forged around the favorite movie of his father, A Clockwork Orange and his father’s love for 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock music. Even if Alexandre was shocked by the violence of the main character, Alex DeLarge, he felt a lot of mixed feelings for him. He was disgusted and even infuriated by some of his actions, but also a deep compassion when he was used as an experiment for the government. The fear and pain of losing your free will make him love the anti-hero of Clockork Orange has a brother, a droog.

When Alexandre was 15 he joined a conservatory and played in many projects. It was a great pride for his father to see his son blooming in with such joy after the past events. Alexandre also becomes friendlier with his school comrades and theatre mates. And sometimes after he turned 17 his father died of some disease. Alexandre was obliterated by this new lose and became a drop out. He just didn’t felt like doing anything anymore. Then one day will listening radio he heard someone reading “Une Tempête” of Aimé Césaire a rewriting of Shakespeare’s play ,“The Tempest”, where he put an emphasis on colonies and racism. His first thought was: mom would be so happy if I staged such a play. And that is when he got a spark of motivation. He goes back to the conservatory but his dropping out for three months was badly received and he was fired. He was a bit beat down by that and didn’t find any other places where he could stage his project so he started working in a little bar in Paris has a bartender. Since he was under aged at the time and that he did not seal any work contract with his boss it was an illegal activity but he had to gain some money to survive. It was also at that time that he started to use more and more often Nadsat in his language. He was reading or watching a bit of A Clockwork Orange every week to remember his father and it started to really change his way of speaking. Around that same time he made some new friends who were going into the catacombs of Paris, yet another illegal activity. After some journeys into this deep and dark place he realized that some rooms were perfect for his play. If no one wanted to let him do it in a regular place he will do it in this underground place. He started to do some acting where he needed only one character and more and more often young adults stopped their wandering in the dark tunnels to watch and listen to him. Some of his former comrades for the conservatory had winds of his doing and wanted to help him. After four months of preparations they were ready to play the first performance of “Une Tempête”. It was a great success and Alexandre was overflowing with joy and motivation. For the second many wanderers of the catacombs talks about how much the spectacle was good. And many peoples were present. But during the climax of the scene a commotion occurred. People were running away in different galleries of stone and policemen appear. Alexandre ordered his comrades to run away and he tried to stop those symbols of order to pursue them. He just blocks their way into one of the tunnels, but he was beaten to a pulp. That is when he got his criminal record. Police also discovered his actions as a bartender and because of his crimes he was expelled from his school.

One more months passed and in less than five weeks it would have been a year since his dad passed away. Alexandre only did one thing since he was arrested; tattooing himself the symbol of Papa Legba, god of writers in voodoo .That is when his former head teacher, mister Sinangue, came to see him. The joyful kid he had known seemed to have gained in maturity. He explained to him that he may have an idea so that Alexandre may start back his studies, to go oversea. Even if his criminal record was a true obstacle to find an academy in France it would not be the case for sure in another country. Mister Sinangue advised him to send an application to Seven Stars Academy, that he had good contact with some of the teachers. Mister Sinangue was a true support for Alexandre and together they send this application with a letter of recommendation assuring the abilities of his student. The day when he was supposed to take his plane to Endymion, he said his farewell to all his former comrades but also to mister Sinangue. In his jacket pocket was an essay of Aimé Césaire and a pocket edition of A Clockwork Orange.

Soulbounds need their size as part of the description. It's not listed in the app but it's relevant for PvP if it ever happens.

Question: Is Alexandre starting Awakened or Unawakened? You can choose to start Awakened now and his Personality section makes it sound like he is unless it's alluding to the future. There really isn't a drawback to starting as either Awakened or Unawakened so it's up to preference.

Oh sure, I will edit the size of the knife and of the gun after this post. As for your question it is true that some of his personality sections are linked to his awakening so would it be a problem if those parts of his personality began to be used after his awakening? Either way I see him as not awaken yet, but the voices he may heard would be a faint start of his awakening.

That is about how it works. When you do Awaken (which is an event a combat tutorial) you'll begin to hear your Persona but not before that moment. I thought I should ask because starting Awakened IS a new option now, though not a very common one and I had to be sure.
