Welcome to New Arcana!
Welcome, Welcome! You've probably guessed by now, but this is a text-based Persona RPG site for Atlus fans, by Atlus fans. If you're new to Shin Megami Tensei, this place can still be for you, so no need to dash towards the doors! Your first stop should be the introduction board so we can introduce ourselves. Then right after that, feel free to go through our vital information to get a good feel of the site. We hope you enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to post them here. Ciao!
Shin Megami Tensei and Persona belong to ATLUS. We own nothing, and have simply used their data to create a world of our own. They are the true geniuses behind the scenes.
Subject: Serenity's Lab Item & Weapon List Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:55 pm
"Hey! Come on in! Welcome to the Lab. Do you need anything? We have all sorts of tools made just for you guys. Have a look around!
Tool Items:
Item Name: Purpose | Price
Tranquilizer Dart: A dart that causes only 1 pierce damage. But 50% chance of inflicting Sleep. x10 Darts | 4,000 VC
Investigation Preservation Kit: A special kit that helps to ensure the remaining evidence is not tampered with in any way to guarantee the investigation's viability. Gives an extra chance to object-based evidence investigations. Usable only once per investigation. | 5,000 VC
Flash Grenade: Causes tier 2 dex light damage to all enemies with 20% chance of stunning them for a turn. | 6,000 VC
Blast Charge: A package of explosives enough to break through many kinds of sturdy doors. Used to bypass locks regardless of difficulty. Its use may set off alarms. | 8,500 VC
Suppression Shock Collar: A mechanical black collar fit around a neck. Used to suppress a Psyche-Terrorist's powers, including Soul Skills and summoning Soulbounds. Should a Psyche-Terrorist try to use their power, they will be experience an excruciating shock. Real world damage can destroy it. Allies can destroy it with a soulbound. Can be returned afterwards so as long as it isn't destroyed. [Unusable in PvS] | 8,000 VC
Booster Stim-pack: An auto-injecting syringe full of "potential" that will allow one to unlock their power further for a moment. Used when performing an attack. Allows user to attack with the strength they'd normally have when fused with their Tainted Persona or Last Life. Rogues get to use only one attack from their Overdose instead. | 45,000 VC
D.O.M.I.N.I.O.N.: The Demonic Oppression Minimizing and Iconoclast Negating Instrumental Omnidirectional Neopositivist (referred to much more succinctly as "dominion") is a three-legged device with a small sphere resting at the top. Innocuous and highly portable, it's one of the best examples of Cadet innovation and one of the most useful too, emitting electromagnetic waves throughout Domains which prevent almost any form of supernatural escape. Though it can't affect the holder of the Domain, once set up in one space of the dungeon it'll negate Traesto Gems for everyone else (including Cadets themselves) until shut down or destroyed... and if an additional 30,000 VC is spent to upgrade it then it can affect skills like Escape Route as well. It's impervious to real damage and can't be powered off by anyone but the owner, so it instead must be destroyed through soul damage, possessing 10% of the owner's total HP and half their PEnd/MEnd. It can be (de)buffed and healed as well, but naturally as a stationary object it can't attack nor can it dodge attacks, and all ailments except elemental ones will fail to have any effect on it. Once destroyed it can't be repaired and a new one must be built in order to replace it. | 30,000 VC (60,000 for skill negation)
