No Rest for the Wicked (Post- Joker)

All of the current members of the Playhouse seemed to let Shouhei make his own decision, which affirmed that they definitely weren’t his enemies.  However with the organization in apparent disarray, lack of specific direction and plans, and the apparent tension between Unison and Revenant, didn’t make for a convincing reason to join.  

“...Thanks for lettin’ me do my own thing.  Just know that I ain’t gonna get in the way of what you folks’re gonna do.  Like I said, if ya got a solid plan, I’ll back ya up.  Right now ya don’t.  But thanks for the offer, Nightingale, Revenant.  Y’all seem like decent folks.  I could always use more buds in a city like this, especially ones with our powers.  Let’s exchange numbers,” he handed them his phone as it was set to his contacts list.

It upset him that an incredibly popular idol like Trinity couldn’t get along with everyone, but ultimately he knew that that was how the world worked.  Not everyone was going to like you.  He figured he needed to speak to her about things personally, and in private.  Thankfully Music Club existed.

In regards to Tempo, it amused Shouhei that Lupin’s other self couldn’t agree… with himself.  Shouhei hooked an arm around Tempo’s shoulder.  “...C’mon bud, let’s getcha some kebabs.  It’ll soak up that booze and make ya think clearer, hopefully.”

This was a lot for Lupin to take in. First, off the girl he was sort of interested in was actually a princess, she was working for a queen who unsurprisingly to Lupin is a complete asshole, Triboulet is actually being kind to him and there are people who are actually trying to help him cope with dealing with his persona. Lupin gets the feeling that the next few days of his life will be some of the most challenging days yet.

Tempo turned to Revenant as he said in a concerned voice. "Ok shit I actually met with a Lamecia and I just treated her like an average girl, should I be concerned?" Triboulet (Yes he is still out) made a quick remark regarding that statement. "Normally this is the part where a persona tells you its a bad idea to piss her off, but fuck it, she is expected to suck up to people's stupid antics, I am sure you will be fine pissing off the princess. It's her brother I am more worried about, like seriously how pretentious can you get naming your child Julius. That's just asking for him to grow up a douche bag." Tempo nodded his head in agreement. "I don't know why but the name Julius actually pisses me off,I feel like slapping him whenever I hear the name."

This was all bizarre to Lupin, then Unison came along and layed some advice on Tempo. "Thank you, I will try to keep that in mind for future interactions." Triboulet then added. "We will be a good addition I promise guys."

Tempo then started to go along with Dirge, Kebabs sound amazing right at this second for Lupin. Tempo then said to the rest of the group just to reassure them."Don't worry guys I am not going near that stuff again, it tastes like shit to me." Tempo was trying to stay balanced. When they got near the exit Lupin made sure to mention one more thing to Shouhei. "Hey Dirge before we go somewhere to eat I need a quick change of clothes, so can we stop at a restroom or something on the way there?"

I think we can all agree this has been one hell of a night everyone.

Lupin exits.
