**Note: These descriptions can also be found under the board itself. Same goes for other areas and the Velvet RoomZela Academy
The Academy located on the smallest island at the end of the archipelagos of Azores. It can be reached via the underwater subways or over a bridge that connects the school to San Malarus. Being the smallest island, it has only the school and dorms that are fenced at the edge of the island which while is not too high up, is certainly rocky and hazardous near the bottom. The school accepts any and all students, and has no set uniform, but fair guidelines on what can and cannot be worn. This does preserve individuality among students, though this does pose the risk of upper class students acting rude towards those that are known to come from Standasen specifically. In the front of the school is a large path leading to it, and the dorms on either side right outside of the entrance to the school. The back of the school contains forests and trees that are fenced off from students and kept mostly as a sort of forestry preserve, and is against school policy to go in there without special permission.
San Malarus Island
Being the island closest to Europe not including the school, specifically the UK, it has the most European influences and is the most technologically advanced next to the resort island and is also a residential area. It contains a large radio tower that doubles as broadcasting news, advertisements, etc. On the other hand, the European influences show with brick roads, and a mixture of middle and upper class working. It also is the island that connects the bridge on one side to Zela Academy on the other. People there tend to be fairly well off and live modestly here.
Lunapa Island
The area is mostly tropical. The forests are massive and not really frequented by tourists. The houses there are more akin to huts and treehouses, showing to the traditional living quarters that the islands used to have. It has some modern influences like a system of pathways rather than roads, and being the smallest island and has little room to move, cars are not driven on it. It also has the most animals, populating around the island, some even live in the tree system. This island is home to those who still enjoy the simple life of these islands and most usually work in farming or architecture with making various treehouses that people live in. There is only one stop by the island due to the fact that more people tend to live in other areas; the stop being right outside the pathway leading into the main village. This island is the closest to San Malarus.
Penecia Island
A dedicated resort island located in the middle of Azores between Malstu and Lunapa. It is where the bulk of tourists come when visiting this archipelagos and has the most attractions, including a theme park, many hotels, beaches all around the island, and a venue for bands to play at. Large river areas also run around and through the island which allow for boat travel. It is located past Lunapa and before Malstu. It is mostly a tourist attraction but there are residential areas, which are naturally the most expensive out of all of Azores. People living there tend to be very wealthy.
Malstu Island
This is an island that is not lived on by people. It contains a volcano taking a lot of the space of the island and is mostly used for tourist attraction along with small bits of ruins around the island. Pathways are made and small tour carts are there and there is even a river stretching around part of the volcano. The volcano itself is vast and very deep, and has been dormant for some time now, soon to be around twenty years it hasn't erupted.
Standasen Island
This island is one of the largest islands, however it is rather cluttered with different architecture. Some is very modern, which even that doesn't look very good while others are normal rural homes, and much of them are either half-made or broken shacks. This island is the cheapest, yet less fortunate of the bunch. The base of it is below sea level, so it has a much higher risk of flooding during high tide and rain. The best things there are probably athletic and sports related, cause that is usually the best they have there. Skate parks, basketball courts, and even one football stadium still managing to be intact after all this time. There is a station/dock that is on the end of the island pointing to the prison, where several small ships lay for prisoners to take, and some smaller boats for single police officers to go to, and the police do not tend to bother with those of this islands, many thinking of as a lost cause unless government help is given. This island does have beach areas, but like the prison, it is not frequented by visitors, so they might as well be as beach-less as the prison.
Azores Prison
The island being large, is an island completely full of prisoners. They are taken from the various islands to Standasen, where they are then sent over by boat to the prison. These prisoners are kept in various jails and cells all connected to one another with high security in mind, making up a prison that takes up the majority if not all of the island. Though even if someone were to escape, this is on island not connected via underwater subway, and the only method to this island is by boat or worse, swimming. Since even the other islands do not have enough space for prisons, this island is dedicated to all prisoners, organized by what severity of crime they committed. There are some rooms around the prison for employees who work there most hours of the week.
