Wingman's Solo [ Blake/Shouhei ]

Shouhei couldn’t believe his night so far.  One of his coworkers at the host club, Haruhiko,  managed to coerce Shouhei into hanging out with him.  The premise was simple: Haruhiko wanted Shouhei to be his wingman for the evening, as the prospect of “gettin’ it with American chicks” was the consolation for it all.  The two had gone barhopping throughout the Backlight Districts, and despite Shouhei’s younger age, was slipped multiple drinks already by the appropriately aged Haruhiko.  At least Shouhei was getting free booze for his troubles.

This was their last stop for the night, Heaven’s Door.  

“Chin up, Shou-chan, this’ll be the lucky one!  See!  There’s one now,” Haruhiko gave a hearty laugh and slapped Shouhei on the shoulder.  He ambled his way on over to a platinum blonde but spun on his heels quickly and shot Shouhei a wink.  “Wish me luck!”

“...Ya need it, jackass,” Shouhei gave a cheeky grin in earnest and shook his head.  That being said he shuffled and nearly stumbled his way to the bar.  Perhaps he should start sobering up and order some water.  With a sigh of relief he plopped himself onto one of the stools, grateful he no longer had to play the wingman (and could have a seat).

Heaven's door was nothing fancy, but it was a pleasant bar with a smooth tune playing in the jukebox. It was dimly lit by the light bulbs and the few neon decorations, there were two pool tables and darts(Which nobody ever used, seriously its gathering dust by now). Currently not many bartenders around, Blake herself was not attending anyone, just cleaning some stuff before the next client walked in. Two Asian guys, one immediately went for some blonde bombshell present while the other just sat down at one of the stalls. The woman would set her task aside and approach Shouhei, she offered him a smile before she spoke.


That was good enough, right? Hopefully she didn't overwhelm the guy. Or gave a wrong impression. Whatever, she probably did good, she has been doing for a couple years now.

"I'm Blake, by the way." She added, introducing herself.

“Greetin’s!  Blake, boy, am I glad ta see ya,” Shouhei’s words slurred out and he offered the server his own smile- his expression a bit lopsided due to the booze.  “Thanks fer keepin’ me comp’ny… it feels nice ta be waited on fer a change.  Name’s Shouhei, by’a way.”

"Its a pleasure to meet you Shouhei." She nods at him. He was very inebriated, clearly. The two must have been bar hoping all night before they landed at Heaven's Door. She could just try to push more alcohol o him and make lots of bucks but. "Do you need anything to sober up or do you just want to keep going?"
