“But seriously, you’re thinkin’ of a restaurant host. I work at a host club. We uhh… cater to normally female clientele… because they’re… lonely. We keep ‘em company, we listen to ‘em, we entertain ‘em, and we drink with ‘em. Nothin’ sexual comes out of it though. Ya sure ya wanna hang out there now?” | |

| "Oh! A gigolo bar!" That was the term, wasn't it? "We should go there, only order food without services, and leave!" The look on the owner's face will be hilarious! He let go of the reins and shouted "Let's invite the whole class! Wonderful!" It was going to be great.

| “...Nah, man, I still don’t think ya get it, but whatever,” Shouhei mumbled quietly, but shook his head. He would explain to Yuri another time about his job, hell maybe just take him there personally. By himself. Without anybody else, especially not anyone from their class. Thankfully Yuri changed the subject as Shouhei somehow successfully managed to turn his horse. Once more he pet it graciously for obeying him.

| "A lover of music, huh? That's nice." One time, Yuri heard a song. In fact, he'd heard several over his life. He'd never danced, though. For Shouhei, it probably was part of his job. "I do spend much time reading, especially about the world pre-Divide. I'd like to return it to that. Even inside Endymion humanity faces demonic threat. People could travel the whole world easily. I suppose that's a tad off topic, though." He had to clean up all these demons, yare yare. He was excited for the next night to come. By now, crows were picking apart the dead possum from earlier. Absolutely disgusting. He was glad to have it out of his site once more. Yuri looked up ahead to see white horse trotting up to them, and turning to walk back beside the two. | Shouhei remained mostly quiet concerning Yuri’s reflection on reality and his pursuit of justice. Personally Shouhei could do nothing about the demons and terrorists plaguing this world, but at the very least he would work to become a performer and contribute in his own way. He knew firsthand to never underestimate music and morale, ever. The only words he could offer were a simple, “If you can make it happen I’ll sure as shit support ya.”
Once Yuri mentioned the horses Shouhei realized that the only reason he was handling his horse so well was probably because it was merely following the other horse’s lead. That started to annoy him. He wanted to become as adept at riding a horse as he did a motorcycle. Truth be told, he did find some enjoyment in horseback riding, but it hit its peak when his steed was sprinting its fastest. Maybe he was just an adrenaline junkie.

| If anyone could make it happen, it was indeed himself, so he'd hold Shouhei up to that. "Thanks for the offer. I appreciate it." Shouhei then displayed an interest in learning to ride better. Perhaps Yuri's choice of activity was a good pick, as it always is. "Alright. I'd love to. I don't know how often you might head all the way out here, but feel free to ride mine at any time as oppose to renting one from Lexaco Ranch, if you're ever inclined to do so. Don't worry about making me worry where they are, if someone tried to steal them they'd kick them." He could then find the thief by the trail of blood. | |
