All the World's a Maze (Gideon/Lupin/Shin Awakening)

Gidd took a sigh of relief as the smoke cleared and revealed the admittedly gruesome sight of the monster's remains before they dissolved into the air. There was a moment of awkward silence the three shared. Before any of them could break the silence a fourth party arrived, expositing something about awakening to a power and the like, before leaving an open brief case full of fire arms on a trash can and leaving. Gidd more than a little dumb founded by the sequence of events. "Okay so tonight has been quite the night..." he reflected to himself. Taking another deep breath, he shifted his cape as it was getting caught on his backpack. "Darn thing gett- Wait a minute since when do I have a cape? And is this armor? What the!?" It only just occurred to Gidd that it wasn't just a shield that was materialized onto his person, but an entire outfit!

As he fiddled around with his cape and armor, it then suddenly dissipated, presumably since he no longer needed it for the time being. "Another to the list of weird happenings this night I suppose...." he then turned his attention to the case left behind by the mysterious stranger, containing the fire arms and a map. Recalling he mentioned something about a Platinum Playhouse, a name vaguely familiar to Gidd, though he didn't keep up with the news enough for it to mean anything to him. Though the mention of being able to fight government lies did intrigue him. Using his phone he took a picture of the map with the intent to check it out later.

As for the side arms the case had 3 in particular, one fancy looking white pistol with the words "Holy Diver" inscribed on the barrel of the pistol, a oddly shaped black gun that vaguely resembled the Red9 gun from one of Gidd's video games, and a familiar looking black pistol, a glock he believed it was called. His dad used to own one and kept it in a safe in his room. Seeing as he had a passing familiarity with it and not wanting to mess around with the 2 other guns that seemed foreign to him he picked the Glock up. "I suppose if I run into another monster again this could help."

He made sure the safety on the gun was on before sticking it into his backpack. He took one last look at his fellow victims of this weird night to say his goodbyes. "Well this has been quite the night, but I have to get home before my mom kills me for being out so late. Take care of yourselves and hopefully none of us get eaten by monsters tonight!" He then made his way for the main street in a hurry to get back home.

Lupin looked please with himself after dealing all that damage to the thick metal boy with dirt guns. Oh what a feeling. After the dust settled there was slience. Lupin wasn't sure about the others but he felt like something was different that suddenly things made sense why no one was talking about certain topics. Why the government is so strict. It was all controlled by the rich. Lupin was feeling emotionally overwhelmed, for all he knew the rich and their greed for power caused the divide what killed Sourire this is all the elite's fault. Lupin felt something he hasn't felt for awhile anger. Before Lupin can make a move a stranger has appered before him, giving Lupin and his friends guns and mentioned the Platinum playhouse, Lupin dosen't know much about them since you know secret orgainzation and all of that, but if someone from there is willing to help Lupin might aswell investigate.

"Hey wait up" Lupin called out to the stranger trying to get his attention before he left. With that failing miserable Lupin takes a quick look at the gun that was handed to him. "It's nice looking gun isn't it, just look at the detail. Lupin was shocked to still be hearing Triboulet's voice. "Hold up you still here? "Yeah Lupin I am part of you now or technically I always was but you don't need to worry about that. "Oh great just let me talk to the demons in my head. "Whats those that mean when I was conceived within your mind."

Lupin just ignored the comment and proceeds to examine the gun even more. "Holy Diver, oh shit look at my clothes, got to love the yellow and purple strips." Lupin said this in a happy tone. Lupin to note of what Gidd said and tries to get his attention and said this to his two friends. "We should meet up after school tomorrow and discuss what were are planning to do. Meet me at the front of the school ok afterschool you two."  with that being taking care of Lupin made his way home after saying his goodbyes. "Have a good night you two."

Lupin grabbed the map hoping it would be fine thinking the other two had already seen and decides to take it. What's the deal with this playhouse group. Whatever Lupin does next he needs to plan it out carefully.

"Don't tell anyone about this ok." Lupin said in somewhat of a nervous voice.

It was over? The thing was dead it seemed. Shin did not relax just yet. A part of him was worried it could still fight somehow, or would explode, or do something that would make Shin an unhappy camper. But soon enough the legs dissipated as well, leaving them with only silence among the three. Before Shin could actually catch his breath, another individual arrived from where the monster emerged. Shin griped his saber and was prepared for more combat, but to his surprise the man was not out to get them. This night, and this place, leaving the teeny teen on edge.  

But the man said he was preparing something for them, and displayed a briefcase with guns of all things in them. The two others seemed to trust him well enough, taking the guns inside for themselves and leaving Shin with the last one inside. Hesitant, but he reached inside and took the remaining gun for himself, mumbling "I've never used one of these before..." Though it was not like he ever used a saber, or a persona before this night either. He took a look at the map as well dedicating the directions to memory. Only now did he realize what he was wearing. He kind of liked it. Using what little glass remained intact as a mirror, he nodded approvingly at himself before the fourth man gave them advice on what they should do next. With that he hopped off, leaving the three of them as quick as he arrived.

Once he left them the world seemed to shift behind them again, and Shin could see lights in the distance that he could not see before. He even thought he heard the sounds of civilization beyond the alley now. His clothes reverted back to normal as well, Shin kind of missing his hat and cape. The three seemed to have no reason to stick together now, one departing on his way, and the other who Shin met before told them to met up later. Telling them not to tell anyone else Shin mumbled "Yeah..." and was the last to leave the alley. Standing there once he was alone he looked around, examining the area and then taking a closer look at the gun he was handed. Tucking it away, he decided to head where the map was leading them to check out this playhouse thing as soon as possible. After the initial shock and confusion, Shin was starting to grin to himself. This was exactly what he wanted in his life.
