The Biography

Appearance: A young woman standing at 5'7", with medium length blonde hair, normally kept up in a pony tail when at work. While at work she wears a traditional chef's attire, minus the hat since she thinks it looks ridiculous. Her casual wear tends to vary from day to day but most commonly she can be seen in a blouse, with a jacket on top if it gets chilly, with a skirt and a nice pair of shoes. Alternate Appearance: When in her Carnage form Franziska's hair gets quite a bit longer and turns a shade of green. She also dons an outfit that resembles a cross between a witch and a chef's attire. To start she wears a large black frilled hat with the pointed top instead replaced with the puffy bits of a chef hat. The Background

History: Franziska was raised alone by her loving father as her mother died very early in Franziska's life. Her father supported himself and his daughter through his work as a sculptor, in which he was a master of his craft. It didn't matter the material or how detailed or abstract the project was, he would get it done masterfully and the attention this garnered guaranteed steady income for himself. As she grew up she wanted to follow her father's footsteps in his craft. Unfortunately while she had the eye for detail required, she lacked the patience for such a slow and deliberate practice. This did not discourage her though, and she would continue to try out various crafts such as painting, composing, etc. Eventually she did find one craft that she excelled in, the culinary arts. Her father supported her choices and helped her through culinary school. Once she graduated though she felt quite empty. While she loved her father, he had a reputation and she couldn't help but shake the feeling that her accomplishments were only achieved through sharing a surname with him. Wanting to make a name for herself independent of her father, she changed her surname to her Mother's maiden name and moved from her homeland to Diamond City, the place she believed she'd have her chance to make a name for herself and make her own mark in the world by opening her own restaurant. When she did get there, she found that making her own path wouldn't be quite as easy as when she had her father bankrolling her prior, but she was undeterred. With her credentials she was able to get a position as the sous chef at a smaller restaurant in the city, where she became rather infamous for her short temper and foul mouth. While she could no longer live as extravagantly as she did at home and her dream of opening her own restaurant was much father away than she had originally hoped, she felt more accomplished doing this work than she ever had before. One day while returning to her apartment after work, she had accidentally taken a wrong turn and ended up face to face with a stray shadow that had made its way into the city. She froze up at the sight of it and was too afraid to move when she caught its attention. The beast charged at her and she was prepared for the end, when a sudden flash of light blinded her. "I'm sorry Milady, it's quite unlike me to let a morsel like this escape me." A voice spoke to her. When everything became visible again she saw a robed man pin down the shadow with his bare hands, which to Franziska's surprise had long talons at the ends of the fingers. Before she could say anything the man covered the shadow with his robe, followed by the shadow squealing and then a crunching noise before the shadow went silent. While freighted by the initial display, she eventually came to realize that the man meant her no harm. In fact he had a proposition for her. In return for allowing the man, now known as a mirage to Franziska, to siphon off the excess energy that she gives off, he could act as a guide in her culinary endeavors and in emergencies help her out like he did that night. "Trust me milady, I may not look it but where I come from I'm somewhat of a master chef." While a tad wary, she did feel indebted to him for saving her life, and an idea for fast tracking her dream of opening a restaurant occurred to her. With a Mirage partner she could participate in devil diving. Assuming that they did well, she would be able to achieve her goals in a few years compared to the decades it would take before. With her mind set, she accepted the Mirage's terms and the two became partners from that day forth.

Mirage Appearance: Marie-Antoine wears a large black robe with golden designs covering his back and sleeves and a large black wizard hat on his head. He has a relatively human looking face with a long mess of green hair on his head and yellow eyes that lack irises and pupils. He lacks a mouth and nose though that doesn't seem to hinder his ability to talk or his sense of smell. His hands have large talons on the ends of his fingers, though he rarely uses them offensively and never has trouble picking up objects or interacting with people without cutting them. A more disturbing part of his anatomy is usually hidden by the robe, but on his belly he has a large toothy mouth that he uses to consume... pretty much anything.

Persona Background: He claims to be the very same Marie-Antoine Carême that served as Chef extraordinaire for the french royal family in the 1800s, though there's no evidence supporting this claim. Regardless of that he believes very strongly that he is and its hard to argue his claims when his culinary abilities are as good as they are. Originally sustaining himself through consumption of weaker shadows that occasionally broke through the surface. Ever since he made his pact with Franziska he no longer needs to consume shadows for survival, though he occasionally likes to indulge himself on a defeated shadow or two.

Marie-Antoine reverts back to his Mirage state and using a cauldron begins cooking up a stew for 3 turns. The aroma increases skill potency for all allies skill for remainder of concerto. On final turn Marie-Antoine reduces the stew down to its essence and infuses it into the party, granting either Rakukaja, Tarukaja, or Sukukaja.

One thing I do want to point out is that you can use your Concerto from the back row, but the only one affected by it will be you. You can't target party members with buffs from the back row. If that changes your build, feel free to indicate that. There isn't much possible from back row. That said, it's not out of the question for you to be switched in to active party depending on what your party decides to do.

You'll need to pick a specific buff unless you're planning to randomize it when using the Crescendo skill at the end of your Concerto. Also, group buffs are T3, and your Crescendo skill must be a T2 effect. You could only give a buff to one target if you're making it one of those three.
