| Cecil was bundled up today, wrapped up in a previously screwed-up hoodie with disheveled strands of hair hanging in front of his face. He'd borrowed a sanitary mask from Tomomi, and he couldn't help but be acutely aware of its presence. He looked for all the world that he'd made not effort in his appearance - and honestly, he hadn't. God, he wished he had though. His hair was desperate for a comb, and it bugged him to no end. He tugged down on his hood again, hoping for just a little extra coverage from the fabric.
If you were looking for thieves, then it was going to be hard to find them in any place where there was little to steal. So if you wanted to find one at work, only made sense to try the stores. There were places to steal from all about, and people with the money to shop at them to take from if one where so inclined. Here and there people were tucked way, many seemingly homeless. They probably got about as well, saw some things. Nobody really paid attention to them, after all. That meant acknowledging their existence, and all the uncomfortable questions it could raise. It wasn't like some of them probably hadn't tried their hand at larceny themselves. It probably seemed like a solid bet however the attempt played out.
It was worth a try, even if he did end up having to go out of his way for it to pay off in the end.

| Despite the Revenant's search, nothing of interest would have reached his ears. Just idle talk, people selling their products or announcing some form of sale. No talk about thievery or the Terrorists. Cecil would have people try to sell him something in more than one occasion though...
Cecil fails to find anything to progress the investigation...
