Blood, Honor, and Litter (Case File 37 investigation - Morning)

First time for a proper mission - and not only this, but, something that could save a life! It would be difficult to say he was excited, but at the same time, he was glad to have the opportunity to do more than hunt demons. He didn't know Mad Dog, or Ronin, but, if she was in danger, Tomomi agreed with the idea of saving them. So, here he was, out early in the morning to try and figure out what was going on. Despite not being at work, the boy dressed himself in his litter picking attire, taking deep breaths and putting his hoodie on like a normal person, rather than just hung over his shoulder. Deep breaths.

Making sure to keep his hood up, hair over his eyes and mask over his mouth and nose, Tomomi walked into the streets of the Backlight, as he tried to think of what story he could use to investigate safely. Let's see... Thief... Thief... Thief... He could ask about someone stealing something from him, but, the risk was being told to just go to the police. He could sound interested in helping someone hunt her, but, that would put his own neck on the line, and was far too scary. Still, at least it was as early in the morning as it was, the sun only just breaking the horizon. As much as he hated those sorts for how much they scared him, today was a day to act brave, and panic later. Someone's life could be depending on him.

That mindset settled, he concluded he'd play the story by ear, and looked around for where to start.

The early morning in the Backlight District was as busy as ever, with the shops opening and the morning rush coming in. Despite this it was a relatively placid if cold day. As Tomomi passed the shops and busy people going about their business, if he kept his ears open... he would hear absolutely nothing about thieves, hitmen, or Psyche Terrorists aside from the occasional comment about the TV broadcast that graced people's lips so frequently in recent times.

Tomomi finds nothing by searching in the general Backlight District.
