| Mallory had come to school today, and had surprisingly been well behaved throughout the rather boring, methodical lectures. Then the bell rang for school to finish, and with an excitement that was rather unnerving, she made for the library, excited to get dug into a new book, and learn something new.
As she got into the library, the first thing she did was go straight to the science section. In truth, Mallory's speciality was in dismantling, but that didn't make her terrible at other forms of science - at least, that should have been the case. That didn't stop her from trying to apply different aspects of science that had no right to be mixed out of her own curiosity. And so, despite being more of a mechanic than a scientist, Mallory went straight to the biology section, grabbing a book on human anatomy, and sitting down to read, eyes scanning the page with wild excitement. Yes, this was good...
After a little more than an hour, she was done. Not with the book, but with the section she was interested in - the ligaments. "Now... To apply this to a car..." The girl muttered to herself as she left with a look that she had recently rehearsed in the mirror. | |
