| The normally crowded park in Hayabusa was almost awfully quiet today, with only a few people loitering around, most of the usual visitors discouraged by the snow, which kept stubbornly falling, already having coated the ground with a thick white blanket. Yet, for unknown reasons, Kaihei had set his foot out of the dorms and went on to brave the wet and cold layers of snow. In his mind, it was still better to freeze outside than bare the loud antics of his dormmates and if asked he wouldn't hesiate to choose the former in less than a blink of an eye.
''I wonder if there are any animals in there....'' he wondered as he made his way towards the popular park, which he was planning to visit anyway. While he might be quite a tough guy, he still had to admit that he was fond of nature and its residents and it did help him calm his mind, especially after 'bouts with irritating people.
The simple fact that the park was mostly empty served well to up his mood too, as it lowered the chances of being disturbed by random weirdos. Eventually he came to a stop, standing under a tree, which was heavily coated with snow, almost resembling a christmas tree, without the decorations of course.
''This place is quite peaceful...'' he stated to no one in particular, as he stood there staring up at the tree in question, his mind absorbed in uneventfull thoughts. | |
