Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] K4nZvf7

Heather huffed, looking at her watch. She knew it was a mistake to trust random losers to actually show up for her work. Gawd, it was like people hated getting payed, or something. She'd scrounged up pocket cash out of the kindness of her heart, and nobody bothered to come help her ass make a simple safety video! It was for the good of the children, how could anybody hate the kids? Especially if it was helping them know how not to get rekt by some demons...or by random people online. She thought people'd be all over something like this. Maybe she should've lied and said that it was more exciting, and then suckered them into it. Did it really count as a lie? She didn't think so. Helping with something like this was an honor! She needed an A an-

"PEDRO YOU KEEP THAT HEAD ON OR SO HELP ME!"

Her attention was drown to a man in a costume standing nearby, who seemed to be trying to pull off his mascot head.

"What? But it's so hot..."

"Keep it on until they kick your ass, god! I didn't make that costume for you to take it off early!"

"My apologies for my lateness citizen! I was----"

It'd taken Shizuka quite some time to find her way around Vista Square, but when she finally found her destination and spotted the client she'd immediately rush up to them, beginning to issue a speedy apology that'd abruptly stop mid-sentence along with its speaker. Skidding to a halt, the Cadet's eyes would slowly drift over to "Pedro" and she'd seemingly find herself lost in a trance. Her apologetic and embarrassed expression shifted immediately to complete and utter blankness save for the judgemental look contained in her piercing gaze as she looked the man over. The costume was just accurate enough to be baffingly suspicious while being designed just poorly enough to create a sense of "what-the-fuck" unlike any other, her abyssal stare swirling and shifting with streaks of contempt and pity while she pondered over whether or not she'd read the right request. After a long and awkward silence, she'd decide it was time to speak up.

"Ah, I see. Is this strange manchild bothering you miss? Don't worry, if need be then I can escort him off the premises and into a jail cell." Seriously. There was no sane and safe person who'd wear something like this; she'd literally only returned to the city a few days ago after years of absence and even she knew that.

Isabelle smiled when she had spotted the people she would be working for, she hadn't walked up right away she wanted to see the kind of people they were, though she had to admit the mascot costume was adorable! she just wanted to rush over and give him a big hug, that and by the sound of things he was getting a bit of harsh treatment from the woman that was with him, and as she sat there she looked at her watch a moment, it was about time she arrived for the work they asked for, and so as she got up she heard another voice and she looked over to see some girl talking with them.

She only smiled as she made her wave over to the group clearly there was apparently some mistake as the smaller girl seemed to be accusing the man of being a nuisance so she decided to clear things up on her own "Considering that this is the guy that is helping make this thing I don't think him being taken away is really gonna be a good thing..." she said as she walked up. a smile on her face as she looked to the shorter people she would be working with, well the one girl and the two that set up the job anyway.

GioGio had been busy on the morning, unable to attend to his cadet duties. He had to care for his brother who had caught a cold until the medic arrived, however to alleviate his boredom he had a PSA he had signed up for. Did he think it would be good? It would probably be terrible. Did he need money? Not really. However it was a source of amusement, for a man who would dress as a maid to confuse people doing a trashy PSA with an enthusiastic and hammy delivery would be greatly amusing. Wearing one his finest suits and rings, while having shades on his face he entered the room. His posture was straight and his movement was smooth and graceful.

The first thing his calm eyes noticed was the man in a Jack Frost suit, it must be hellish inside that costume, then his eyes drifted to the Asian girl with a style eerily similar to a certain someone. Finally his sight met the goth girl, the one running the show.

"Scusi, my car got stuck in traffic. I am, however, ready as i can be." He addressed the Goth woman.

Not even when you own one of the most potent cars made by men you can escape the banal and worldly problems everyone else faces.

PostSubject: Re: Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission]   Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] EmptyTue Aug 14, 2018 9:50 pm

The girl rose a brow. Three...yeah, looked like everyone was there. Now they could start this trainwreck. "Oh great, you guys showed up. I was worried Pedro'd die of heat exhaustion first. Then I'd like, have to hide the body, or something?...I'm kidding, if that wasn't obvious. I'ma be running a tight project, but I'm not gonna let any of you die! Seriously though I'ma need you guys to sign some liability waivers. Anywho, I'm Heather, and this is my assistant Pedro. Like you prolly remember from the add, I'm putting together a safety PSA cuz SOME people are gettin' a little too...what's the word I'm looking for? Bold? Let's say bold. So, like, we;re gonna be teaching people to stay out of it! And, like, you know. General safety stuff." Heather walked over to a small box she had prepared, and opened it up. Inside were four different costumes.

Costumes:

"So here's the deal. Two of you gotta pretend to be Cadets...or you know, pretend to be OTHER cadets, for some of you. Suzie has to act like a total idiot and have safety explained to her. For a really great PSA we obvi have to follow in the footsteps of the greats and overextend past our initial focus. Online safety, stranger danger, not being a dumbass and staying around at night. Oh, and you gotta make sure it's current right! I want internet trends, and relatable slang flying around, y'feel me? If you dab that's like, an auto fail though. Gotta be smart about it, relate to the kids while making them think they decided to like you on their own! That said, there are fidget spinners in the bottom of the box. But like, it's literally scraping the bottom of the barrel. Oh, yeah. And make sure you tell people to ALWAYS report PT activity, you feel me? Don't need kids trying to be a hero, or something. Oh, and make sure they know about drugs, too. Cover all the bases. And if somebody does a rap for it that'd be bitchin'. I'll get the camera rolling in a minute, make sure you're ready, m'kay? After we get that stuff done, we can move on to the fun part, beating the crap out of Pedro with baseball bats...R-E-L-A-X, they're foam."

Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] ANDpUqf
"Helping...?"

For a second the clarification would fail to click, partially because of how quickly she'd jumped to a conclusion, but mainly because a giantess had just walked up beside her and it was difficult not to get distracted by her enormous height. Shizuka would stare up at the woman blankly for a few seconds until eventually the golden-haired man approached and clarified it further, instantly making her feel stupid as the lightbulb lit up inside her head, leaving her fidgeting awkwardly with her eyes darting between the two. "Oh... Hahaha, my bad. What a silly mistake..." Internally screaming at what was admittedly not that big of a deal, Shizuka turned to Gio and used the chance provided by his question to shift the subject somewhat, though this wouldn't stop her from awkwardly stumbling over her introduction too. "I'm... I'm Shizuka. I'm sort of new here I guess, and it's my first time doing one of these pee-ess-ays, so I... look forward to working with you both." She sputtered out while sheepishly rubbing the back of her head. Thankfully, however, it seemed their client wasn't keen on waiting and after the man's arrival she'd swiftly start explaining the instructions and dishing out advice on how to perform. It seemed simple enough, albeit a bit worrying in some aspects, mainly in the suggestion that they'd need to pander to ongoing trends. Still, she knew enough about being a Cadet that she figured she could play the role of one adequately without knowing how best to circumvent the "dab", or whatever the kids inside the city were up to these days. After all she'd...

Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] AkvcR5y
"...o-oh... I see. Good choices."

It didn't matter. While she was standing there lost in a train of thought, the others had already decided on their roles, taking both of the Cadet ones. That left Shizuka with the role of the ordinary civilian: the role that was completely foreign to her in almost every sense. She bit her lip lightly, but she wouldn't protest given the decision had already been made, resigning herself to performing the task as effectively as she could in light of recent events. Ultimately the stakes weren't that high anyway, right? All that mattered, for the most part, was that they enjoyed themselves... though she still couldn't help but feel a certain sense of dread emanating from the wig and associated objects. It was clear she'd have to make due with whatever clues she could gather from the box's contents; it wasn't ideal, but then again, adaptability was her specialty and she'd proven that in far deadlier scenarios. If she had to prove it again today then she'd reluctantly eagerly do so.

Her first step would of course be putting on the wig and sticking the lollipop into her mouth. From there she'd move on and take several other items out of the box: the box of candy, the cellphone, the DRUGZ, and lastly the book on popular celebrities. Quickly skimming over the last one while her fellow actors made their own preparations, she'd shut it silently with no visible response and from there move onto stuffing the bottle into the box of candy, closing it and placing the phone inside her pocket. After all was said and done she'd be more than ready to begin, although she was still lacking in many areas, unable to do anything further to improve beyond reciting impromptu lines in her head (which she did).

The cameras rolled and the figurative curtains opened. With a surprisingly genuine skip in her step, "Suzie" would hum happily as she twirled and spun and danced over the pavement, Shizuka having switched to the persona of the childish girl with almost-eerie efficiency. "Oh boy, oh boy! I can't believe those nice circusgoers gave me all these sweet snacks for free~! Clowns are so nice: such trustworthy laughs and smiles!" She practically sang, setting down the box and tearing it open with a vicious eagerness. As Suzie reached into the box, however, her eyes would crawl down to meet the first object she snatched from it, a strange bottle which she'd not-so-subtly turn to the camera so that the audience could read the label. "Oh me, oh my~. I've never seen this kind of candy before... It must be some kind of rare brand! Thank you random strange clowns!" With a giddy grin, Suzie would immediately move to devour the contents of the bottle, unscrewing the lid and preparing to pour it down her throat. This would naturally mark the moment at which Chad and Cassie would intervene which would be responded to with absolute sycophancy, persistent nodding of the head, and mock-thoughtfulness and gratitude at the revelations.

Following this, Suzie would proceed to casually forsake the salvation granted to her by Chad and Cassie, moving onto the phone and walking through the streets without paying attention to her surroundings. "Man, I keep hearing about this cool new app! It, like, totally installs itself onto your phone for you. It's amazing~! Kinda like a virus, but it can't be bad if it's popular. I bet I'll become just like famous pop sensation Katty Kurei if I download it and do whatever the people on there tell me to do! Hehe!" And this was where she'd presumably get stopped yet again; the lecture would follow suit and Suzie would agree with whatever was said regardless of who was saying it, what they were saying, and why. Then right after the Cadets exited stage left she'd hop right back onto her phone and continue walking around without paying any attention to the environment she traversed. This would continue for quite some time until either Chad/Cassie told her to keep an eye on where she was walking or she ended up skidding to a halt by herself and looking around the area in confusion.

"Oh no... Now it's getting all dark out and I'm super duper very lost! I should've kept my eyes on the road, oh dearie me! Now how will I get back home?" She pondered aloud while looking away from the device with all the tools and applications needed for such a task, waiting for her fellows to come point it out for her, hopefully mentioning something about calling 911 or pulling up a map or something. Ultimately Shizuka's performance as a naive youth would end up surprisingly solid for what it was, but the quality of the film would, in the end, depend on how the others decided to act and play off of her. Whatever the case, she could only hope she hadn't embarrassed herself too much, recalling now after it was nearly all over that she'd be attending Seven Stars herself soon enough...

"I'll proudly pay the Cadet Cassie!"

That pink wig was extremely familiar to a certain pink haired little girl he knew who should have her pride knocked down a few levels. But he wasn't there to be bitter at his fellow cadets, he was there to exalt the beautiful rule of the queen! Okay that was a lie, he was there to have a couple good laughs and flaunt his looks, but that was not necessary for the others to know. Swiftly he put on the pink wig and the cape while proudly wielding the shield.

"In the name of (our gorgeous) Queen Isla, i must stop you right there, Civillian!~☆" A girly voice escaped the young man's lip, he took a proud stance while sticking his tongue out and doing a peace sign with his free hand. "Ueeeh! Don't you know? These Clowns are bad business! Despite the efforts of our (pretty) Queen, there are still baaaad guys out there, so never accept candy from strangers, especially from green haired sickos, and report them too!... Good thing you had me, the Queen's favorite and shield of endymion to save you, nyahahahah~☆... Oh and also Chad." He had one hand in his hip through the speech, he'd pout and perform exaggerated movements for the camera. Once that was done he'd hop off scene while laughing proudly.

"No!no!no!" He would appear again, stomping on the ground with girlish steps and yet again pouting. Squeezing his own cheeks he would lean closer.
"Little Suzie! You can't trust everything you see on the internet! Pwease be careful, imagine how much the our lovely queen would be sad at losing one of her children?" He would take both her hands at that moment "Each time a civilian dies or rebels, she sheds a tear in sorrow for losing one of her beloved citizens! So if you see an app promising that you will be famous, report to the nearest cadet and don't download it again, okay~☆? Nyo~ho let's go again Chad!"He shot the most cheerful smile he could muster at that moment.

"Do not worry little Suzie! I, Cassie the Shield of Endymion will protect you!" Gionatan would stand in front of Shizuka with the foam shield on the ground and 'ready to protect' while also shielding the silver haired lady with the prop cape. "You shouldn't be up this late, isn't that right Chad?"

He was having way too much fun with this all, he was basically playing a cartoony version of Cecilia and while he had little ill will towards the girl it was still hilarious. The Goth mentioned something about doing a rap, maybe he should try it...

"Alright friends! Now it is time for a little song i made about our gracious Queen!"

"Well I wrote this song for the Endymion youth
I wanna teach kids the Isla's truth
If you wanna reach those kids on the street
Then you gotta do a rap to a hip-hop beat
So I gave my speech an urban kick
My rhymes are fly, my beats are sick
My crew is big and it keeps getting bigger
That's 'cause Isla is my Sister
Woo!"

"She's a life-changer, miracle arranger
Came during the divide
Saved us all as she is divine
I spread the word, that's my gig
And I rhyme better than Notorious B.I.G
All the other MCs, I wish them well
But if you rebel, you burn in hell!"

"Isla is our Sistah
She's a hottie MC, you see
She's an honest, caring, peace-loving sistah
Like me
If you do drugs and you think you're cool
You need to come to Seven Stars school!
Put those drugs in a garbage can
Stand up tall, you're a Isla's man!"

Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission]   Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] EmptyTue Aug 28, 2018 3:22 pm

Isabelle looked at the choice of costumes and honestly she didn't care which one she grabbed and so she reached in and simply grabbed the costume meant for the male Cadet named Chad and she smiled a bit, this think would barely fit her body, and the shirt that was with it would barely cover her chest, great...well she picked it and she decided to put it on.

Now most would probably think she would cut a dashing image but rather then this
Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] Gourry_Gabriev

she looked more like this
Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] Fate_testarossa__naga_the_serpent__slayers__by_setsumight-dbxs039

But ill fitting Costume aside she smiled as the action began and she watched from out of camera range as the small girl did her part then the other guy did his, As she watched she had to reposition the "armor" as the chest piece barely even covered anything, the pots and pans were not sitting right as clearly they were picked simply because they were metal, and the tapped up cardboard and pillows had to be moved so the tape wouldn't rip from the strain of trying to hold in several places where she had a bit more muscle then one who was smaller then her would have, not to mention her just being a bit bulkier, and finally their was the sword, it looked tiny in her hands, smaller then it usually would anyway due to her height, the helmet fit at least, if only barely.

Though as the guy playing Cassie mentioned her name she stepped into frame, which had to be adjusted thanks to the height difference, and she nodded "That's right Cassie, one must be careful when strangers give them candy or food, their might be something wrong with it or they might be hiding things like drugs in them." She gently took and held up the bottle from Suzie and holding it so the label was clearly seen "Things like drugs are dangerous and can harm your body, if someone offers you any just say no" She nodded sagely as she put the bottle away keeping it away from the much shorter "Suzie" "If someone does do that and you are alone, it's best to not accept it and to walk away, that's the best way to stay safe, The safety of the citizens is always the first thing on the minds of all cadets, And remember, Report all Suspicious Activity and if you See a PT, don't be a hero and try to fight them, call the Cadets, your safety is our greatest concern!"

She stood there stone faced, playing the strait man really, though considering her more then likely comically (or even more likely scandalously) ill fitting armor, she probably seemed even more hilarious then serious, though she was trying to put on a masculine tone to her voice but that probably only added to the joke seeing as she was quite OBVIOUSLY female the costume not really able to hide that fact,  and she would step back out of frame doing a very soldier like heel turn to march on out.

Once again at the mention of her characters name Isabelle stepped into the scene, and once again the angle had to be adjusted to accommodate the size difference, "Yes Cassie. Little one, it's very important that you don't download things without making sure they are safe, maybe ask others or your parents to see if the thing you want to download are safe, but most importantly if a simple app says it will make you famous, don't believe it, if a simple app could do that, wouldn't everyone be famous? You are a smart little thing, so I know you wouldn't fall for something like that. And remember, Report all Suspicious Activity and if you See a PT, don't be a hero and try to fight them, call the Cadets, your safety is our greatest concern!" and once again she turned and stepped out of frame, doing the same turn and march out as before.

Finally was the last bit and as the guy called her characters name once more she stepped into frame, "That's Right Cassie, It's safest to stay at home when it gets really late out however if you find yourself lost, don't forget that your [hone can be used to find your way to the police station, or if you see a cadet ask them for help, explain that you are lost and they will help you get home safe and sound" she stood and pulled out the sword standing beside the smaller "Suzie" "Now then...lets get you home little one. And remember, Report all Suspicious Activity and if you See a PT, don't be a hero and try to fight them, call the Cadets, your safety is our greatest concern!" she finished as she posed with the sword held in a defensive manner to protect the shorter girl.

Then the worst thing possible happened....the guy playing Cassie started to rap, and...it wasn't very good...then again considering Isabelle's status as a PT she had to find it funny that she was even participating in all this, but to be honest if it meant less people being caught by demons that want to hurt them she was fine with giving a helping hand towards that goal. however she let the other guy do the rapping she wasn't one to sing really, though as the guy finished up she took a step forward and took a heroic pose "And remember, Report all Suspicious Activity and if you See a PT, don't be a hero and try to fight them, call the Cadets, your safety is our greatest concern!" she would finish as she stood there trying to look heroic with her badly fitting armor that probably showed more skin then it protected.

PostSubject: Re: Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission]   Safety Dance! [Case File 29 - Side Mission] EmptySun Oct 21, 2018 2:19 pm

"Alright, well, that was the worst fuckin' train wreck I've ever seen." Heather finally spoke. "But, like, in a good way! You all sucked in your own special way, and I'm totes sure that the kids won't be able to look away. I wasn't TRYING to make a comedy, but like, I'm chill with this. It's probably gonna pass. Maybe. Could. I don't fuckin' know." Heather shrugged. "I mean, I guess if I could complain about one thing it'd be the stilted acting from the Giant, but I think the rap saved this mess, so...it's all good. Come on, Pedro. You don't need to get your ass kicked today."

The person in the demon costume seemed to perk up at that. "Will...will you pay me, too?"

"Ha! No. Later losers, I'll wire you those funds later. Real Hollywood Big Shots use Pay-Pal, you know!" With that said, she dragged the costumed man away with her.

It was only once she was a fair enough distance away that she'd sneer. Right, a PSA. She had Cadets acting like fools on camera, she didn't need any grades at that point.

A more observant person might have asked an extremely logical question about the strange woman.

'How do you even know what a Jack Frost looks like?'

Mission Cleared...?
