Sibling Festivity [Isabelle/Cecil]

There were far too many people around...too much sight, too much sound, too much talk and too little space, and Cecil had been exposed to it for far too long. He'd been forced to engage with it all for longer than he could really handle, and it was starting to fray at his nerves.
"Come on bro, keep up!"
Rydia seemed happy though. And he wasn't about to ruin her fun.
"Hold on!"
Taking a breath and pushing the building strain out of perception, he put on a more relaxed expression as he contemplated just why he suggested this trip in the first place.
Well...wrong question. He knew full well why he offered - he wanted her to know he cared, and really, felt he ought to spend more time with her than he actually did. What he didn't know was why he said here of all places. It seemed like a good idea at the time - lots to do, things to try, all sorts around for the both of them to enjoy - but it seemed like only one of them was really managing well here.

...no matter. The whole point of this was making her happy. As long as he managed that, he'd keep smiling through the increasing agony.
She was the important one. Not him.

As he caught up to his sister, Cecil found her already halfway through a meat skewer. "More? Am I going to get something anytime today?"
"Hmm...nope!" She finished off the rest of it in one and tossed the remains into a nearby bin. "My money, my food!"
"I paid for a bunch of that stuff!"
Rydia just laughs. "And then you gave it to me, so it was mine!" She smirks, and starts walking on, gesturing for Cecil to follow. "Come on bro, we're not done here yet!"
Sighing with a wry smile on his lips, Cecil continued on with his sister.

Isabella had decided to try out the festival that seemed to happen every day, it was a bit odd but hey if it was making people happy why not indulge a bit, she had a lot of money saved from her fights so she could just let loose, once thing she did not expect though was the amount of activity, festivals this regular she figured would be rather sparse by this point, but that didn't seem to be the case, then again when people want to have fun they will find the places they can manage that and go all out and enjoy themselves.

As for herself she was just enjoying the sights and little things to do, though as she wandered about she did hear a voice she recognized and she smiled as she looked around and spotted the two siblings she had met before, walking over she heard the complaints of Cecil and smiled as she bought herself a skewer as well as one for him and walked up behind them "Well well well fancy meeting you two here" she said as she walked up behind Cecil and handed him the skewer she bought for him before walking over to Rydia and leaning over to whisper to her.

"On a date with your brother I see? Shouldn't you be a bit nicer to him? I mean you are his sister and all but if you act all mean he might start to get sad that you treat him so badly..." she said before standing up strait again and looking at the two of them with a smile.

Cecil made an intense effort to hold in his usual cry of surprise as he jumps at the appearance of Isabelle. "Ayaaaahhh-hellooo there to you tooo...huh?" He takes the skewer, looking for all the world incredibly bemused. "...thanks...? I don't why you got me this, but...thanks?" He takes a bite.
The confused expression melts away to leave one of bliss and satisfaction.
This thing was delicious.

While Cecil is delighting in his newly acquired treat, Rydia starts to look utterly revolted from Isabelle's whisperings. "With...no. No. Oh - that is sick. No!" She looks at Isabelle as if to ask what the hell her problem was, before whispering back. "I don't know what you're thinking, but-"
"Rydia...don't. Please. I don't know what this is, but please." The skewer's already been wolfed down, and Cecil is looking at his younger sister with a pained expression at the seeming exchange of unkind words.
Expression wavering, Rydia gives a defeated sigh and looks Isabelle in the eye. "Just don't make him miserable again." She turns back to her brother, smiling confidently. "Don't worry about it bro, it's fine."

He doesn't look too convinced, but he lets it drop.

The pair start moving again at the younger sister's lead, the girl smirking as she brushes a few strands of hair out of the way. "So why'd you come to see us anyway? Not had girls coming over with gifts for my brother before. There isn't something actually going on, is there~?" The smirk develops into a full, catlike grin as Cecil develops a flustered expression that says he's all too used to this.

Seeing her reaction Isabelle only giggled to herself at how violently she refused the Idea, though when she said something about her making Cecil feel bad she found that odd, she hadn't been making him feel bad before, it was her..well her worrying him that did it, though as she spoke again she made mention of her and Cecil being in a relationship, or starting one, and with that Isabelle smiled and looked at Rydia.

"Who says I am here to see him? After all there is an old saying...the fastest way to a girls heart is through her brother..." she said with a smirk as she looked Rydia up and down, she let the comment hang in the air a moment before she started to laugh "I'm joking....though honestly you make it to easy to tease you Rydia" she smirked a bit as she looked to the two of them a moment "So...What are we doing hmm?" she said as she simply invited herself to join them.

Though she leaned down to Rydia again and whispered to her "Just make sure you don't hurt him ether...a family member can do more damage then a stranger...besides...your family...you should be kinder to him then you are to others..after all this teasing before now and he is still worried about you liking him? he's still wanting to hang out? give the boy some credit..." she said before standing up once more and smiling to them both again.

As Cecil gives Isabelle a strange look, Rydia flushes intensely, and it's not long before the grin becomes a little more strained. "T-That's not any kind of saying. Don't make things up like that." Cecil's prior expression passes as he snickers at the reaction, and she starts to pout, sending a look that wants to be a glare but just looks pleading toward Isabelle. "I do not! Sh-shut up!"
As his laughter dies down, Cecil speaks up. "I guess we've just been wondering around and seeing what the festival has to offer so far. Rydia's been using it as an opportunity to scarf on my wallet." She shrieks in protest at that comment, to his visible delight. "If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate it."

Rydia's still flushed as Isabelle whispers once more, her lip wobbling. "That's just the way it is with us, ok?" Her voice comes out in a harsh whisper. "Winding each other up's been a family pastime forever. We all di- do it." She lets out a hissing breath. "And for the record, he doesn't normally do this! You put ideas in his head that I think he doesn't actually care, and now he's doing all of this! He's not worried I like him, he's worried it's the other way round you idiot!"

"Ah...are you...?" Rydia shakes her head. "Alright. Um...Isabelle? You...never did say why you came over. I'm kind of curious too. Not, that, I ah, um, I'm ungrateful for the food or anything, but, ay, ah...why?...And actually, why the skewer too?"

Isabelle smiled as she seen the reaction from Rydia and she giggled a bit at her pleading tone as she asked her to shut up, but the best part was when Cecil gave his explanation of what was happening and all Rydia was able to get out was a little shriek of protest, and she couldn't help but smile. Then Rydia answered her whispers a bit later and she only listened with a gentle smile as Rydia explained, and she only nodded a bit as Rydia explained things, granted she also insulted her but Isabelle wasn't really bothered by it at all.

She then looked to Cecil as he asked her why she was there and why the skewer, and she gave a smile "Well I was down here to check the place out and I spotted you two, I thought maybe you come here often, and when I heard your grumbling about the skewer your sister gobbled up I thought you might be hungry, and I was already thinking of grabbing a snack, so why not get an extra?" she said with a smile as she looked to Rydia and gave a whisper back to her a moment.

"Did you maybe think...he was already worried about that to begin with? maybe he thought you didn't like him and he had been scared to ask, and maybe thought there was nothing he could do to change that? At least now your getting all the attention from your brother that you have been craving....if you spying on him last time I met you two is any indication....I mean...you came up and inturrupted him talking with a girl...that can be taken several ways...." she poked the sister again with the whole Brother issue yes, but she wanted the girl to think about how she was treating him...and honestly it was a tiny bit of pay back for the insult, nothing mean spirited, just some playful teasing.

But with that done she looked back to Cecil and stood up to her full height, stretching and towering over almost everyone around, with only a very few exceptions and she then smiled down at the two "So mind if I tag along then?...or was I interrupting something?" she asked Looking to Rydia with the last part of the question a sly smile on her face as she waited for the answer.

The confusion drains off as Cecil receives his reply. "Ah. Well, um, then...thanks." His eyes drift. "Kinda still hungry though..."

Rydia's eyes narrow, cheeks still flush as she speaks through gritted teeth. "He was supposed to socialise. And then he did. But if you think I'm not going to interrupt that when you get him to start tearing himself to pieces, you're out of your mind."

"Please stop." Cecil walks up, and pushes Rydia gently away from Isabelle. "I don't care what it is, just...please stop." He sighs, and looks over to Rydia. "I just want you to enjoy yourself alright? Please?"
As Rydia starts to look conflicted at the concerned expression on Cecil's face, he looks over to Isabelle. "You can come along, it's fine. Just...whatever it is, let it drop."
He could feel the tension building up again.

Shaking his head, he takes the lead this time, heading over to one of the stalls. Simple game - knock the cans off the platform with the balls you were given, win a prize.
They were probably anchored somehow, but that wasn't the point here.
Cecil puts his money down. With care, he takes each of his throws and...well, he certainly knocks them down, but four of the stack remain on the platform.
Shrugging, he turns to the rest of the group. "Well, that could have gone better. One of you going to give it a go?"

Isabelle looked to Rydia as she made her reply though before she could continue Cecil seemed to think the issue going on was something worse then it was, honestly Isabelle just wanted to make sure that Rydia was aware of what she was doing to her brother, but it seemed she wasn't, in fact, she seemed to think that it was Isabelle's fault that he was tearing himself apart, Isabelle hadn't had the chance to work Cecil through the issue before she rushed in, at least she clearly cared for her brother.

Though she looked to Cecil when he gently pushed Rydia away, clearly he was standing up a bit for himself, though it was clear he thought there was an issue between her and Rydia, granted maybe Rydia had an issue with her, but Isabelle didn't have anything against Rydia, Seeing the way he seemed to look though it seemed he was concerned and so she simply nodded a bit "Honestly it's nothing Cecil don't worry just a bit of girl talk" she said with a motherly smile on her face as she followed along with him.

Following along she seen the booth he was heading for and she looked it over, a smile on her face, she quite liked little games like this and so as Cecil took a chance she watched as he knocked a fair few down and nodded a bit before looking at him, "Nice attempt though Cecil" she gave him a thumbs up as she put some money down and picked up the ball, gripping it a bit tightly as she checked to see if it was a tough ball, though as she checked her muscles flexed in her arm, showing the hidden muscles in decent definition.

Finally after checking the ball she nodded before she took up a pitchers stance "Might want to get a prize ready" she said with a smile, as she tensed a moment as she focused on the pile she was aiming for, the smile on her lips growing to a full confident one as she moved fluidly and threw the ball, some muscles showing as she tensed and relaxed as she threw the ball and sent it speeding down to the bottles, as it struck it not only knocked the bottles over it sent them flying off the table they were set on, knocking them all down to the floor "I believe that means I win" she said as she placed her hands on her hips and looked at the man running the booth, that confident smile still on her face.

"...if you say so." He didn't quite believe it. Sure, he wasn't perfectly adept at handling people, but he can at least notice when Rydia wouldn't stop staring at Isabelle, her face so blatantly flushed red as she whispered at her.
He'd no idea what had her so clearly angry, but it had to be something.

Cecil scratched at the back of his head. "It's nothing that amazing."
As Cecil brushed off whatever praise he got, Rydia seemed to stare again as Isabelle flexed her muscles, flushing again as she tried to get a good look without being obvious about it.
It was an attempt that would never fool anyone observant or socially adept.
Cecil was neither of these.
The ball would give subtly in Isabelle's grip, seeming perfectly solid initially and then letting her fingers give in as a little more force was applied. It was enough to fool a lot of people not specifically looking for it, but the ball was softer than they'd have you believe.

But that didn't end up mattering in the end.
The stall runner's face turns from smug confidence to abrupt shock as the stack is blown away, a look shared by Cecil.
"H-How did y-you...?" Rydia seems positively luminescent as she witnesses the same scene.
"How did you do that?! In one throw?!" He looks between the remaining balls and Isabelle with a slight awe.
To their credit, the stall runner simply straightens up and asks Isabelle what she would like to take as her prize.
The man could hardly say no at this point, leaving the woman with free reign to choose what she saw fit.

Isabelle smiled as she looked at the things on offer and she smiled quite pleased with the result of her throw, and as Cecil asked her how she did that in one throw she laughed a bit as she took a large rabbit plushy, it looked so cute and had the most cutest overly large nose and a look of contentment on it's face, honestly how could she not want it, it even had a smaller plushy of a kitten sitting on the bunnies head looking just as pleased and happy as the bunny it was sitting on.

"Oh..I have worked out quite a bit...I am not as soft as I seem you know..." she said with a smile as she placed the large plushy down and gave a small flex of both her arms, showing the muscle hidden under her soft skin, showing off for just a moment before she stopped flexing for Cecil and his sister, once she stopped her skin looked just as soft and yielding as it had before "After all a girl has to look after herself" she said as she placed bit more money down and grinned.

"Rydia....what reward from this booth do you want?" she asked giving her arm a bit of a flex once more as she decided to mend the little argument they had, hopefully this would be enough to show her teasing was only meant in good fun "and Cecil if you want something to let me know...." she said winking at the two of them as she stood up strait and stretched a moment, some of her muscles showing off through her soft skin once more as she got ready to throw looking at the stall owner with a confidant smile on her face "And don't worry.....I only plan to get two more things...." the smile on her face a bit predatory now before looking to the other two with a motherly smile for a moment as she waited for them to pick before she threw again.

"I...wouldn't have exactly said you were soft...?" Geez, that wasn't half a lot of muscle. More to the point though - even when she wasn't showing off, just her sheer height could make her quite the imposing figure, and even if the true extents of her strength weren't so immediately apparent, to call her weak by any means would be laughable. "You don't half work out if you can do something like that, though."

Rydia almost seemed to squeal as Isabelle questioned her.
"I- that one! That one there!" She blurted the words out as she pointed to a mid-sized plushy fashioned after a fox, and then seemed to shrink back meekly as her face glowed flush.
Cecil swallowed. He scanned over and..."That...?" It was a little keychain dog of surprisingly good make.
The stall runner looks at the items behind him, and..."I'll give you what you're after right now if you promise to leave this stall alone for the next month. Deal? Do we have a deal?"

Isabelle smiled a bit as she looked to Cecil "Well I train myself, never know when it might come in handy....If you want I could train you too" she said as she looked from Cecil to his sister Rydia as she blurted out and pointed to the plushy she wanted, and she nodded as she then looked to Cecil who also indicated what he wanted and as she turned to ask the man for a couple of more balls so she could win them the man owning the booth suddenly started to talk to her making her lips curl at the offer.

"Well...okay but if I come back in a month....and you haven't changed the balls in for ones that would actually do just a tiny bit better...I may have to win a few more times....." she said with a giggle before having the items given to her and she gave them to the two siblings a large smile on her face as she gently patted them each on the head as she handed them their respective gifts "So what did you have in mind now Cecil?" she asked with a smile and wink to the both of them.

As much as he'd pass off the offer normally...he had to admit with what he was doing now, it could well be worth it to do so. He had no idea the sheer amount of work it took to get to the level she'd reached, but he could at least make some progress. That said...
"Just how do you train?" Best to know what he's getting into.

The stall owner just grumbled under their breath as they handed the rest over. Goddamn crazy amazon...she better not, or they'd have a problem.
The whole thing worked fine without freaks like her screwing up the system.

Cecil sighed and guided away the hand that came to pat at his head as he pocketed his prize. "Please don't do that...just because you're taller doesn't make me a kid."
Rydia's reaction however, was to half-pout, half-scowl as she swatted at Isabelle's hand and practically ripped the plushy from her hands. "Come on, what do you take us for?! Quit that!" Despite her indignant tone, she still holds her prize close.
They made quite a pair as they voiced their protests. Their demeanours might be different, but it was easy to tell how they were related just looking at the similarity in their expressions.

Cecil closed his eyes and shut his head a little at the wink while Rydia sputtered. "I'm...not really sure, specifically. I know there's more to do, but I'm a little short on what." He shrugs. "Guess we could wander about and see what looks interesting."

As the two swatted away her hands she giggled a bit "Sorry about that, I'm normally a hugger but I didn't know if you would have wanted hugs...but if you would rather have hugs I can give those instead" she said cheerily as she smiled down at the two of them, "It's not that I think of you two as kids, I am just a naturally physical person is all" she added as she giggled a bit at the expressions on their faces, they were almost like matching book ends, it was adorable.

At Cecil's mentioning on not knowing what to do she nodded a bit to the suggestion of just wandering around "I have no problem with that, as for training...I do weights, jogging, cardio, stretches to keep limber...and Boxing" she said with a smile to answer his previous question as gave another quick flex of her arm "Some times I compete too, but really I do it to make sure I stay in shape, swimming also helps to keep me in shape too and it's a great full body and cardio work out"

Cecil's face said he didn't want hugs.
Rydia's face said she was going to pretend she didn't want hugs.

"Think the pat on the head's worse than the hug..." Mainly because of the size difference, not that he was conscious of that. With how much bigger she was, and the general way she presented herself, it was hard not to feel childish from such a gesture, let alone look the part to other people. Thanks god she wasn't older, otherwise that'd be a final nail in the coffin.
As she held onto the plushy, Rydia found she couldn't quite meet Isabelle's eye as they walked. "Never asked for any of this anyway."
Sighing and shaking his head, Cecil just shrugged. "It's not a thing you really just...do, anyway. Sure, maybe if you're close, but it's just not something you do like that most of the time. Not that kind of gesture."

Cecil perked a little at the mention of what she actually did. One thing in particular, really. "Boxing?"
Rydia looks curiously to Cecil, and then laughs a little, smirking. "Well then...what's got you interested, bro?" The smirk breaks out into a full, wide grin, the girl almost able to taste the reaction already. "Besides, don't you think swimming would be better if you're gonna do this? Hit the water, see the sights...?"
"What are you..." You can practically see the moment when it all clicks in Cecil's head, the boy wincing and burying his face in his hand. "Come on, Rydia...one time! One time with a stupid joke! It's not even a big deal!"
"Then why are you getting so worked up about this, hmm?"
"Because I take these things seriously, what do you think?! You don't just ogle people like some lech!"
