| It's afternoon. The sky is auburn red and rush hour is on action. Workers and students taking the trains to their homes. Some took the taxi so they can't feel the struggle of fitting themselves in a congested train, but instead the painful patience waiting for the traffic to flow smoothly. However, in the middle of Vista Square, a peculiar teenager who is standing in the middle crowd is looking up on the skies. The boy was just doing nothing. Is there something bothering him? or is there something strange about the skies? Nobody knows.
- OOC Note:
Ummm the next paragraph contains spoilers about the TV series "Riverdale". Read at your own risk or whatever
"No, it couldn't be Miss Grundy" the boy muttered to himself. "If Miss Grundy was a serial killer, she needs to have a motif when killing her victims. Shooting someone in the head is not a motif. Also, the reason why she has a gun in her car because she experienced domestic abuse from her former husband. That's kinda understandable." He then looked around his surroundings as if he was looking or searching for something, but in reality that's just his way for reaching out his brain for further answers. "How about FP Jones? He doesn't have a motive. But since he is working with Hiram Lodge, it could be possible. Hiram has a solid motive for killing Jason and it's because the Blossom family was the reason why he was imprison. So maybe, Hiram told FP to do the dirty work for him. However, if FP did it, there's something that is not clear on my mind. What is it again?" the boy concentrated harder but, nothing popped in his mind. He gave up and just did a loud sigh, "It's no use, maybe I could come to a conclusion when I watch more episodes"

| Ankou, for the love of- You shall be studying once you are home. This must happen. Yes, I get that, but only studying? With leave to eat any meals awaiting you. Missing meals would be detrimental.
He wasn't even sure why he was out here at this point. He didn't have much good reason to be out, and he didn't have any particular aims in the area. Honestly, Cecil probably would be home before now most days. So why...? Oh, yes. Spiting Ankou. Never any peace from his persona.
It's better to take breaks during your work if you want to retain the information. You shall use it as an opening to end work altogether. Why was arguing with himself so hard? He knew all his own thoughts, all his own habits, and now he was wielding that knowledge as a weapon. It's still better than spending the entirety of my free time on-
"Shit!"
He didn't know much of what happened, but one thing was clear to Cecil - he'd lost track of the world around him in the midst of his mental argument, and now he'd managed to crash into someone and send them both flying to the floor. Hopefully they fared better than he had in that fall...he was pretty sure he'd just taken a hard hit to the head. "Ughhhhh..."

| Kevin just realized what he had done and looked around for people that might be giving him that strange look and he hoped nobody actually heard that. Fortunately, no one gives a damn and the crowd just kept on going. "Good thing, nobody heard that" he muttered to himself. However, "What should I get for dinner, tonight?" he talked to himself again. "Dad wouldn't be home anyways, so I might grab some dinner in the local fastfood chains befor-." All of a sudden, Something or someone bumped him from his back, he doesn't know if it's a thing or living thing. The surprising force sent him directly to the ground. "Ow!"
Kevin noticed that his journal where he writes his poems dropped in the ground. This journal is very important to Kevin because this is where he writes what he feels. It is actually a diary but written in poems, so it is very private and he wouldn't let anyone read it. But right now, he is more concerned about the person who bumped him. Kevin regained his balance first and brushed some dusts off his clothes, then ran to this person instead of getting his journal first.
"H-hey! A-are you o-okay?!"
Kevin asked the blonde boy in front of him, he seems to be someone at his age. Maybe a schoolmate? After all, most of the teenagers here studied in Seven Stars after it opened a few days ago. Curiosity filled Kevin's mind. Kevin is really a curious creature and will do anything to know anything he wants to know. But for now, ask questions for later. He needs to get this guy back up from his feet. "Umm... uhhh... do you need a hand?" Kevin asked as he extended his left hand to him, if he needs it.

| "I'm...I'm alright...I think..." Cecil groans as he pushes himself up and looks in the direction of the voice. "Yeah, a hand would be appreciated..." He reaches out to the offered hand...only for his hand to pass through it, to his eye. In reality, it had just come short. He tries again, his hand missing again as it passes to one side of the one offered to him, before he finally manages to grab it on the third try. He comes to his feet unsteadily, and his other hand comes to his head where he feels something wet. Bringing it back into his suddenly untrustworthy vision, he finds a daub of red on his fingers. "Great...how bad is it?" | |

| Kevin already knew something went wrong with his fall. He missed three times, it means his vision got distorted with fall because his head got hit really hard and bad. He got nervous for someone he didn't even know. Kevin heartbeat raised when he saw a red spot on the boy's head. He really did fall that bad. "H-hey! Y-you're... bleeding" he shouted pointing at the spot where the blood is. This is really bad, he managed to injure someone by just obliviously standing in the middle of the crowd. If only he wasn't that absent-minded.
"Okay... my dad trained me to do this" he whispered to himself as he took a deep breath. Kevin needs to take this boy to the nearest hospital but, that isn't possible right now. It's very far away and he needs first aid right away. Calling the ambulance is one of the option, but that would make things complicated. As you can see, Kevin's lack of social skills gave him the anxiety to call a stranger even for help. However, the police, Kevin's father is a police. Kevin knew he can get first aid from the police and his father's post is not that far from here. Plus, his dad is not a complete stranger. So instead of calling the police, he called his dad.
"Kevin... you know that i'm bu-"
"Dad, there's an emergency here!" Kevin interrupted his dad's statement
"What!? Where are you? I'll go there, right away" Alexander asked.
"Vista Square, not far from our home here" Kevin answered.
"Okay, I'll be there" Alexander hanged up.
Kevin looked again at Cecil. He needs to be comfortable. "Don't worry, first aid is coming right away. Sit in this bench for a while" he told him as he led Cecil to a bench to sit on while they wait for his dad.

| Cecil gave Kevin a darkly amused smile. "Yeah...I...I think I figured that out. You see?" He holds up his reddened fingers. "Look at that pretty splash of red. I really did take a bad hit." He absentmindedly places the bloody fingers in his mouth, sucking of the red droplets, before drying his fingers on himself and using the hand to reel in the trailing cables of his earphones. He was rather lucky nobody'd stepped on them. With Kevin's help, he staggers over to the bench without his damaged balance getting him injured further, and flops onto it as if without a care. He rubs at his head, avoiding the wet spot, groaning in pain. "Thanks for that...though, ah...I think you forgot something." Trying to point, and finding his arm not really too steady, he braces one arm with the other and manages to point a steadied finger back where they came from, toward Kevin's Journal. It was...at least roughly in that direction. He wasn't quite sure if he'd managed to compensate enough for the quirks of his vision to give something accurate to the guy next to him. | |

| "Umm... uhh... no problem" Kevin replied, trying to hide a blush. Prolonged social interaction, well can be pretty awkward for Kevin. Anyways, Kevin really appreciated the thanks. He doesn't get thanked that much, since he doesn't have that much friends to help after all. But, hearing that word is such music to his ears. Now, Cecil seems to be trying to point at something. Though not really accurate, he was pointing at the ground and his journal was there, untouched. "My journal!" he ran for the journal then, retrieved it. He was relieved that no one touched it. He won't bear the hardship if someone managed to read the contents inside it. After retrieving the journal, he returned to the bench. "I almost forgot this, thanks" Kevin thanked Cecil with a smile, he appreciated it. Now, they're equal, they just helped each other. "This journal is precious to me, I can't lose this" Kevin said, flipping the pages through the journal but, also making sure that he is not taking a peek. "Oh, it's not because it's a diary or anything but..." he stopped at the middle of the pages then took something from it, it was a picture. "It's the only picture of me and mom before she died from labouring me. Whenever I look at this picture, I feel mom's embrace. I feel safe. That's why I can't lose this picture, no matter the cost. Of course, I can't lose the journal too. It's too private hehe..." "Oh my..." Kevin just suddenly realized something. "Did my mouth go running again? I am very sorry about that. I shouldn't bother a stranger with my troubles" he added with a sheepish smile while scratching the back of his head. To be honest, Kevin felt kinda awkward. But, he felt much better that he finally managed to tell that to someone. Not too long after that, a man in uniform arrived at the scene. He is someone in his mid 40's but still managed to look young. It is none other than Kevin's father. "What happened here?" "He just had a bad fall, that's all" Kevin summed up the situation. Alexander crouched in front of Cecil as he tries to take a closer look on his wound, examining it. "He did had a bad fall but it is a good thing that the wound doesn't need to be stitched" he said, Alexander used to be a combat medic when he was in the military. That was until, Kevin's mother died and quit the military because he can't bear the idea of leaving his son alone. Alexander took out the first kid from his belt, then took the cotton balls and alcohol from it. He soaked the cotton ball with alcohol "We don't have betadine, so this might sting a little bit hard. But, stay still" He told Cecil as he rubbed the wound with the soaked cotton ball. After that, he covered the wound with a gauze and securing it in place with a medical tape. "That should do the trick" he said as he finished the job. "Your friend here is okay now, but yes he's a little dizzy. That's normal, he might need to rest here for awhile" he told Kevin. "and... uhhh..." Alexander grabbed Kevin and lured him a little bit further from Cecil. "What the hell were you thinking!?" Alexander asked Kevin. "I-i'm sorry D-dad, my anxiety kicked in" Kevin apologized. "You made me worried about you, I thought you were the one in trouble" he scolded Kevin. "You should've at least told that there is an injured person or called the ambulance" Alexander sighed. "It won't happen again" Kevin said. "Anyways, i'm going back to my post and don't leave your friend until he's okay" Alexander told Kevin before leaving the scene. He returned to the bench and sat right next to Cecil. He suddenly felt so tired now that adrenaline rush is gone. "I'm glad you're okay, now" Kevin said. "My name's Kevin, by the way" he introduced himself. "I noticed. You look like someone in my age. Do you study in Seven Stars?" he asked him. | |

| "Not a pro-oblem?" The smile on Cecil's face turns to a more confused look as the person next him starts to answer question he never even asked. His gaze drifts to the picture, and as Kevin elaborates there's a pang of something Cecil thought he was long past having to struggle over, outside of his notice in the backside of his mind. Blissfully unaware of the tumultuous feelings that were stirring with him, Cecil's face merely fell into a more solemn, understanding look. Cecil sighs, somewhat wistfully. "No...don't worry about it, it's fine." He waves off the apology...admittedly, somewhat clumsily, bracing one arm on the bench as he does. "If there's something you need to say, you need to say it, I guess."
His head turns quickly to the new voice - perhaps a little too quickly, the blonde clutching his head as everything steadies. He takes his hand away, and finds himself uneasily facing this new man that the person with him seemed to know. What was it he said before...his dad? He watched as the man set to work, a small hiss of pain escaping his lips as the cotton ball ran over the wound. He makes no more sounds as the rest plays out, watching and feeling...somewhat uncomfortable as he finds himself ignored even as he's being spoken about. He was right there! ...he wouldn't call attention to that, but he was!
Cecil took a moment to reply after Kevin returned, taking careful breaths as he gathered himself. "I'm...agh...I'm Cecil. And...yeah, I go there. One of the lucky few, I guess." He chuckles weakly. "And ah...sorry about all this. Having to tell your dad you have new friends 'cos some stranger wasn't watching where he was going..."

| Oh a schoolmate, Kevin suddenly felt excited as he gets to know Cecil. "Really? I study in Seven Stars, too. Currently a third year" Kevin smiled sheepishly. "Nice to meet you, by the way" he added. Kevin took some deep breaths, catching up his breath from that nerve-wracking situation. "Don't apologize" he replied. "After all, I felt like a new person after helping a complete stranger. I mean, I don't even have any social skills.". Kevin laughed weakly at his lack of social skills. "Maybe, I should have called the ambulance instead of my dad. Fucking anxiety hehe...".
It went pretty silent for awhile. Kevin doesn't know how to keep a conversation longer. But, he can't just leave Cecil for now. So, he waited for a little bit longer. "Ummm... are you feeling better, now?" Kevin broke the silence. Then, he stood up from his seat. "I know my Dad said I shouldn't leave you until you're okay but, he will be mad too if I got home late. So, I need to go. Maybe, I'll see you again in school". Kevin is sure that Cecil will be okay on his own, though it's a dumb decision to leave a dizzy person behind. Kevin also felt really awkward after that silence and he needs to find a reason to run away. However, he can't shoulder the feeling of awkwardness after that silence, so he ran away from the scene anyways.

| "Yeah...nice to meet you I guess...I mean, this whole mess aside." Of all the things to do...walk into someone and bust up his head? Really? If anyone would do it, it was him. Cecil shakes his head, before leaning back and cradling his head again. Baaad idea. "You did better than I did...say what you want, but I've got no excuse for this." He sighs. "At least I'm not still on the floor over there."As Cecil attempts to speak up, he finds the already slowly coming words drying up as Kevin continues on and sets off moving. "...could at least let me answer..." He tries to get up, but gives up on that shortly after finding he still didn't feel confident on his feet. Reluctantly, he pulls out his phone. It rings for a couple moments, and he can't help but feel tense until a familiar voice comes through from the other end. "Well, speak of the devil...where are you? Rydia's going to be all over your food if you're not there to have it." The joking voice came through clear, but notes of concern Cecil couldn't quite pick up on underlied the his tone. "Yeah...I...think I'm going to need a hand with that.""...what's wrong?" "Took a fall, hit my head...having trouble walking right now."There was a brief silence over the line. "Alright. Tell me where you are and I'll come get you." "Thanks. And ah...sorry to worry you, Dad.""Hey, save the apologies for once we've got you back and eating! Now come on, where are you?" Cecil looks around, trying to gather where he'd ended up in his aimless wandering. "Well..."--> [EXIT] | |
