A white haired youth with cyan eyes, standing at 5'8''. Regularly Katsu opts to wear Seven Stars uniform, although with a red tie and gray pants every now and then. He always wears brown loafers. When not on school, Katsu opts by a more casual look, with a white long sleeved shirt and black pants, as well as regular sneakers. Sometimes he can use a black shirt with a bird motif or something that resembles dragons. Katsu also wears a wristwatch on his right arm and sometimes is seen using reading glasses: he has a sleight miopia and is hard for him to read without them.

Alternate Appearance:
With his mask, Katsu gains a piece of clothing that resembles a black military overcoat with black pants and black shoes, all over with white linings that resembles cracks and a white jacket that is long enough to reach the floor and a collar coated in white fur. His mask is seemingly made of steel with intricate patterns that, upon closer look, resembles a bird and dragon pattern.

Personality:
Seemingly nihilistic and cynical, Katsu gives off the impression of being rather unpleasant and even borderline arrogant. He does not try to avoid social interactions and may be described as "edgy", but in fact Katsu believes that social interactions must happen in a more natural way and so he tends to avoid the ones that feel "unnatural" to him. His hobbies include reading, writing... Anything that could be related to "creating something".

Katsu, even though he tends to be pessimistic, claims that normally mankind tends to make a lot of mistakes and says that "by expecting the worst case scenario, anything that deviates from that (as long as it is not even worse than the one pictured on his mind) is a good outcome" and that can be seen as a somewhat "faith" on mankind. He is a good and loyal friend and tries his best to live up to his friends' expectations, but tends to be slightly aloof at times. Neverthless, he is a good guy.

The Background

History:
Katsu was born to an unnamed mother who died of childbirth... His, to clarify things. As such, as a nameless baby, he was sent to an orphanage where he spent about five of his childhood years there, before his true father managed to actually find him. Story was: his parents met while on a party and it was an one night stand... or so they thought. His mother knew a little too late that she was pregnant and didn't manage to find Katsu's father. After overhearing the news about her by a acquaintace of them both and that she gave birth to a boy, he did his best to find Katsu and adopt him, which proceeded... In a oddly smooth process. Then, Yakumo (Katsugiya's father) did his best to raise his son to be a good person: the world was enoughly bad and it never hurts to be a good person in order to make things even a little better, isn't it? His father was a good man and did his best to encourage Katsu to follow his dreams and it was him who instilled the passion for arts and crafts on his son.

However, a financial crisis ruined Yakumo's business (he was a small businessman running a delivery service which sufficed three small cities) and he decided to start things anew, by going to the United States, where both he and Katsu could find a better array of possibilities waiting for them. When they moved, Katsu was already fifteen. There Katsu learnt more about the world and got a real chance to start everything anew. It was the beginning of a new chapter of his life... And Katsu was going to fully enjoy it.
