Rory, at first glance, is simply unassuming. Standing at 6', and weighing 157 pounds, he looks like an average 20 year old. His hair is lime green and short, but messy, and his eyes are the same color. He's slightly more pale than the average person, though it's hardly noticeable, except at night. He wears several earrings, along with rings on his fingers, and armbands. Most of the Jewelry is in fact knock-offs, though they're the best knockoffs he managed to find, to the point that some of them are near unidentifiable as fakes. He tends to wear very casual clothes, with striped shirts, and white undershirts. Though, all of his shirts share one thing, a chain hanging off the left shoulder, ending with a charm. The pendant he wears is the is the ONLY real piece of jewelry he owns, and thus his most treasured possession. He prefers plain khakis, and simple sneakers. Most people expect pickpockets and thieves to dress shadily, but obviously, if you don't want to be caught, you shouldn't look shady.

Appearing dressed as a Wizard, Rory's mask is more like a helmet, that obscures all his physical features. It's steel, and silver colored on the face, though gold colored on the sides and around the back. He wears a white, pointed hat.He wears a primarily white coat, with red markings on the cuffs and hem. He wears gold armor right under his shoulders, and a white belt with a gold buckle. Said belt has two pouches for the storage of items. His coat HAS a hood, though it'll never be used, due to the fact he already has a hat. Under his coat he wears a plain black shirt, with white dress pants, and black dress shoes.

Personality: At first appearance, Rory might seem to be a laid back young adult. He speaks in an incredibly casual tone, and seems to never get incredibly worked up about anything...outside of his 'work' hours. When he's trying to sell something, he becomes more energetic comparitively. He'll talk up an object he's selling to an insane degree, and seems to have the unnatural skill to sell any old garbage...to most people. He follows a moral code, despite what one might think. For one, while he sells knock-offs, he'll never outright sell defective products. After all, that'd just give someone a legitimate reason to return something. As long as it works juuuuuust within the paramiters he described, he can make an argument. That said, while he normall comes off as a bit slow on the uptake, he's more clever than he seems, and it's really just an act to get people to think they're getting one over on him, and not the other way around. He seems particularly bitter towards rich people, or people who don't work to get where they are. He has an interest in magic, and mythology, and had the world not gotten...devided...he was planning to move away to Greese as an adult to study mythology abroad. Unfortunately, it didn't go that way. He has a dislike for authority, though only when it's aimed at him. In general, he at least understands why rules exist...and no, he's not going to lie about the problems with that, he's well aware of them. It's also worth noting you should never play cards with him, as he'll cheat in anyway he can. He likes sweet things, almost always having a candybar on him, or something else with sugar in it. He's particularly doting towards his Younger Brother, who he tends to lie to about where he gets his cash. He feels no remourse for essentially scamming people, and tends to run on the logic that if they were stupid enough to fall for it, then they don't have a right to complain. You know what they say about fools and money...

The Background

History: A long time ago, before the Great Divide, the Thyme family was quite rich, and influential. Starting off as a simple tech company, they rose to a large tech empire with their quality PCs and accessories. Rory Thyme was the CEO's eldest son, and lived a comfortable life, never wanting for anything. He spent his childhood being taught everything he'd eventually need to know to take over the company. However, this didn't quite go as planned. Everything changed when the Demons Attacked. His parents died, and the company was destroyed for the most part. He had no access to any money, and was orphaned. With nobody to take him or his brother in, and the World still recovering from the divide, he was left homeless.

He spent time on the streets, slowly losing what he had left, with nearly nothing to his name by the time he was offered a job. Deceptively simple, he just had to sell off a simple trinket, and he'd get 25% of the payoff. With no other way to feed himself, or his younger brother, he accepted, though, the sale went wrong, and Rory managed to escape with all the cash and minimal wounds in the end. The incident gave him ideas, though. A way to make Money that was...semi-legitimate. He continued selling off 'quality' merchandice, and reaping the rewards. It wasn't fabulous, and he certainly had lowered himself further than he'd initially been willing, but cash was cash.

However, not everything was easy. In a place like Endymion, one had to be especially careful, which hindered his business. As such he slowly gained a dislike for authority, as it stood between him and making the most profit. Though, it wasn't as though he could do anything about it. With just enough cash flow to afford a cheap apartment, and the pressure of avoiding police, he lived his life the best he could, trying not to dwell on the past. Despite his efforts though, it's a difficult task-if not impossible.

The reason why the pickpocket won't work is that VC is a separate unique/supernatural currency that the character wouldn't instinctively know they have on them. If they did it would out them as some kind of persona user or cadet. So I'm gonna say no to the pickpocket strength and weakness, as social link strengths/weaknesses are not applicable since the characters don't end up grading the thread. Everything else is good.

Gotcha. Edits made. Changed Pickpocket skill, and changed the wording on One Man's Trash to make it clearer.
