As more and more of it's body was torn away by Dale's onslaught, the beast let out a small wiper of pain, before it's tendril opened and let lose an ear shattering screech.
Pained Howel |The creature screeches loudly, 20% chance to cause panic to all enemies. Doesn't allow the enemy to summon or use persona based skills if successful. Wears off after 3 turns. | 5sp | Tier 1

Skill 2: Poisoned Dagger | Inflicts a small amount of Pierce damage to one enemy that has a 10% chance of poisoning. | 8% HP | Tier 1
Skill 3: Media | Recovers a small amount of HP (20%) to allies. | 8 SP | Tier 1
Skill 4: Poison Boost | Increases odds of instilling Poison by 35% [10 Base] | Passive | Tier 2
Soul Skill Name: Sculpted Munitions Persona Name: Enkidu Tier: Tier 1 Cost: Passive Type of Damage: N/A Description: Each turn in a topic, Dale generates 1 Clay round, up to a maximum of 10. Clay rounds behave as Basic Rounds, but crumble after use and when given to someone else, rendering them useless. They do not carry over between topics, and cannot be sold even if somehow kept intact after leaving Dale's possession.
Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Ruthless Optimisation —Description: Due to the ‘niceties’ of his current lifestyle, Dale has been forced to get familiar with the intricacies of fighting people, developing a brutal and opportunistic style of combat with the focus of taking down an opponent as quickly as possible – by any means necessary. Dale is capable of attacking twice with his soulbound weapon.
—Strength Name: Cybernetic Resilience —Description: To put it simply, Dale is made of metal. Strong metal. That means he hits like he’s made of metal, and more importantly to his survival, takes hits like he’s made of metal. Dale takes 5% less damage from physical attacks, and typically hurts to punch.
—Strength Name: Variable Fuel Converter —Description: Dale has a variety of systems designed to enable him to ingest organic materials for power. And while he doesn’t need to worry about the likes of toxins or disease, he has had to have a lot of countermeasures implemented to prevent damage in case he consumes materials that are corrosive, or otherwise hazardous. Dale has 15% lower chances of being Poisoned.
----- —Racial Strength Name: Robust Firearm Design —Description: The Rampart doesn’t appear too impressive at first, at least where Dale’s from. It looks, for all intents and purposes, like a basic heavy energy pistol. But when you get to handling it, it’s very easy to see why it’s the sidearm of choice for anyone who could afford to use it. The Vydrata Rampart has three firing modes. Standard shot (revolver), rapid-discharge (machine-gun) and energy lance (sniper). The firing mode in use is indicated by the lights on the side of the gun – blue for standard, orange for rapid, and red for lance. So long as it is not currently being fired, Dale may switch firing modes on the Rampart however he pleases.
—Weakness Name: Entry Not Found —Description: Dale’s knowledge is critically lacking, be It law, social norms, or just common objects. He started off with a very baseline of necessary knowledge, and when you’re meant to be in a lab chamber for your entire life, you can get away with removing a surprising amount from that baseline. Dale has a 15% reduction to his Pmstr.
—Weakness Name: Inadequate Thermal Regulation —Description: While Dale is fine at most temperatures, severe cold has a more pronounced negative impact on him compared to other individuals. Dale receives 15% more damage from Ice based attacks.
—Weakness Name: Outside Scope of Design —Description: Even if Dale has managed to exceed the expectations of his initial design, the fact remains – he wasn’t designed to do the things he can. As such, he’s missing a lot of the countermeasures that would mitigate the issues involved in performing these feats, making all of these superhuman feats very physically taxing. When in Orgia mode, Physical skills are half cost instead of free.
—Weakness Name: Hyperactive Threat Assessment —Description: Dale is paranoid. Quite paranoid indeed. He got that way within a week of being out, and it served him all too well since then. But that doesn’t mean the way he’ll jump at shadows is in any way good. It is 15% easier to inflict Fear on Dale.
----- —Racial Weakness Name: Hardware Compatibility Issues —Description: The Rampart was originally designed to work with a very specific type of high-capacity power cell, which allowed a ridiculous amount of usage without any concern of power. Not the cheapest, but if you could afford a Rampart, then you could probably manage. They were also compatible with a variety of other, more common cells. You didn’t get as much output, but you still got usage in line with typical standards, so it was still worthwhile. Dale, thankfully, has been able to find power cells compatible with his stolen gun on Junction. Unfortunately for him, however, they definitely don’t have the same form factor as anything back where he’s from, and the mechanisms for reloading are not the easiest to work with.
The Vydrata can only fit five rounds. Once all the bullets have been expended, Dale will have to spend a turn on reloading his gun before it can be fired again. Should he try to use the Rampart’s rapid-fire mode while he has less than three rounds remaining, he will instead fire however many rounds remain, but otherwise the behaviour is the same.
Action:
Partial Reload. Loading all Clay Rounds. Shots Remaining: 4/5

The beast would capitalize on the opening created by Dale's reload and fire a condenced ball of it's black ichor towards him.

Dale quickly leaps out of the way of the attack as he slams in the rounds. As he continues to keep moving and Enkidu roars defiance in his mind, he flicks the gun back to rapid-fire and lets loose a volley akin to the one that started all of this off.

Dale's hail of bullets ripped into the corpse turning it into a bloody pile of black slime and viscera. As the thunder of his rifle's shots echoed through out the tunnels, Dale would find himself alone with his thoughts... and a low murmur coming from deeper in tram system

It...it was staying down.
I told you you were hurting it now. Not getting back up any more, is it?
Right...there was that, too. "Come here, Chip..." Putting his gun back away, Dale kneeled down as Chip bounced into his arms, rising as he placed him on his shoulder. He looked at him, for a moment, before looking about. "What are you...where are you?"
In your head, Dale. At least until you and Chip bring me out again. I'm basically you. What you are inside... The you that isn't scared. Put it like that.
For some reason, that made perfect sense to Dale.
Nobody around. Just a noise. After what just happened...as much as he wanted to go, it was worse not to know what was there. Silently nodding to the canine on his shoulder, he summoned his axe to hand, and crept toward the noise.
Tracking:
Clay Rounds: 3/10 [1 Loaded] Shots Remaining: 1/5
Action:
Readying soulbound and cautiously investigating the noise.
The empty halls creaked as Dale walked... The ocasional moan would pierce the quiet and echo for miles through the winding tunnels.
Eventually Dale would come to a split in the path... Left where he could see the lite of another station, or right where he could hear the moans grow louder...

Dale took slotted in the new rounds that he had found himself with as he crept forward, alert for any danger. "It's...that way. Are you...?"
Readier than you are! What are you waiting for?
"Things might be at the light."
We're checking the noise. That's why you came!
"...yeah." "Chip...Enkidu. Watch out."
Dale approaches the source of the moaning, a nervous grip on his axe.
Tracking:
Clay Rounds: 4/10 [4 Loaded] Shots Remaining: 4/5
Action:
Reloading, keeping soulbound ready, and heading right.
Potentially Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Asset Acquisition Algorithms —Description: While not the most adept, Dale’s learned how to spot opportunities. Things like loose items easily snagged. Like some nice new shoes on someone looking the wrong way. Like precious food guarded by someone a little too far away. Dale’s gotten skilled in a few things – pickpocketing, sneak-attacking people, and knowing if he could make a clean getaway if he ran like hell. He might be seen, but he’s rarely caught.
Potential Relevance:
If he needs to get out of there, he knows exactly when and how, along with when he could get a good hit in and if there's something he could snag. At the same time, he's hyper-aware of everything going on around him, and easy to spook. Something happening suddenly will likely provoke an involuntary response if he's unprepared.
Dales's choice would prove faitful, as it would not take long for him to discover the source of the moaning... In the distance he could see a figure cloaked in the dim light of the tunnel. As he got closer the imposing being would become clearer, as would the sounds of the struggle it was in.
"GYRooooo"
It's unholy moan would grow in volume and pitch as it's sunken black eyes fell on Dale, or at the very least where Dale would be hiding.
Yet, before Dale could turn to flee, or raise his rifle...
"Gyo..."
The hole in both the creature appeared with no sound, no light and no projectile. The beast's body fell limply to the ground with a wet slap, splashing it's thick black blood along the walls of the tunnel. It would not be until the dust left behind by the sudden disappearance of the creature's midsection had settled, that Dale would see the other figure in his path.

Why run or get his gun ready? Dale could do both, and as the the massive thing turned to him, Dale was just about ready to do both. Then there was a hole in the middle of it. That was both relieving and confusing.
Looking beyond, Dale saw the...'android', it looked like. They looked like a human in some ways, but were obviously not in others. Best guess. If they did what he just saw, then they were also very dangerous. And yet, within his mind, he could feel Enkidu spurring him on. Encouraging him to learn more about this person, instead of running away. So, Dale asked the first thing he could think as he and Chip looked at the person who had just made a hole in the thing. "How did you do that?"

...talking to the new face with a robo-dog on my shoulder?
The young looking woman would look towards Dale as he spoke... yet not at him. Her piercing dark eyes bore through him, as if she looked at someone beyond him, through him as if he were as transparent as glass. She held this stare for a moment before approaching him, slowly, but with purpose.
"..."
She would not speak, her face cold and distant as she approached, whatever weapon she used to destroy the creature was nowhere to be seen...

DON'T! RUN! This is what you came to find, and it's time to see this through!
But they could-
Step aside, then! But if they wanted to, they'd have done that to you already. And they could. Easily. Nothing to lose!
...
Dale doesn't make a hostile action. He doesn't freeze or run, no matter how much he wants to. He makes sure he's not in the way if they're leaving, and faces them down... As best he can, anyway.
Dale held his ground with baited breath as the woman approached. Should he be waiting for her to react to his presence, or attack, or acknowledge him in anyway, he would be slightly disappointed, as she simply walked past him without a second glance...
However.
Once past him she would stop and turn to him slightly, casting her gaze at him.
"This is not a place for you brother. While you carry Void it is still yet weak...When you are strong enough to conquer your void as I have, perhaps you may come Below... Until then leave this place, it is not safe."
Unless Dale attempted to stop the woman... she would walk until she disappeared deep into the tunnels

...you at least learned something. Get moving. We need to know what void is.
He doesn't dare touch her, but he still calls out. "What is Void?" He waits. And then, whether or not he gets a reply, he sets off for the other station he saw lights from after the mysterious junc-son leaves.
Tracking:
Clay Rounds: 7/10 [4 Loaded] Shots Remaining: 4/5
Action:
Trying to find out more, then going the other way he didn't go at the split path he came here from.
"How can one be expected to play a game if they do not know the rules... The power of Ego must be triggered, and yet, it arose from nothing. That nothingness is Void."
By the time Dale turned around, she was gone.
The trip to the other station was uneventful. When he got there a group of confused onlookers watched him climb back up onto the terminal, mumbling to themselves as they observed from a far.
One in a green coat would ask Dale if he was alright, if he needed assistance or to call the police...
Whatever his choice. Dale's adventure was over for now.
However, in the back of his mind, he would feel a small tug, almost a gravitational pull... Trying to drag his mind downwards.
