Disarmed and Curious [Julie/Dale]

Julie looked back at the man still hanging up in the tree. "Takes while, weeks maybe. Don't know exact. Doesn't grow fast, but does grow." She wobbled around a little, looking at a few of the trees. "Always enough food though, many different bush, tree and plant have food. Place is large, many plants here."

She looked around a little until she apparantly found something she was looking for. "Here, look." She bounced over to a tree that was filled with apples. "This apple tree. Can eat apples. Or this one." She bounced over to another tree which was again filled with apples. There were many more trees with fruit growing on them in the biodome, enough food for all the creatures that lived here.

"See? Lot of food, enough for everyone. No shortage. Try it."  She bounced happily as she looked at Dale, hoping he would try one of the apples that were hanging from these trees. "You know apple? Apple is nice fruit. Sweet and juicy." Julie quickly bounced up into the tree and snatched an apple from one of the branches before quickly absorbing it into her body. "Hmmmm, tasty."

Dale watched nervously as he saw the apple dissolve in Julie's body. "I...know what apples are." He didn't know they were called apples, but he'd seen them before, and that's what mattered.
He looked across at the trees the slime had pointed out, noting the fruits hanging from them. "So...they come from there..." Freeing one foot, he pushes off of the tree he'd embedded himself in and goes over to another, eyeing the fruits hanging from them suspiciously. He jumps up and grabs one of the apples, looking it over before biting into it. "...it's real...!" There's a sudden twinkling in his eye as he eats the rest of it in its entirety, before looking around again, paying closer attention to the trees. "There's more...!" So many of the things he'd seen before, things he'd eaten, just hanging off the 'trees'...

He takes off into the woods, jumping up to grab new fruits whenever he saw them.
He'd be coming back later to see if there really were more.

Julie looked up as Dale makes is way over to one of the apple trees to try one of the many apples that were hanging from it's branches. She chuckled lightly at his response as he bit into it, seemingly for the very first time fresh from a tree. "Yes, more. More everywhere. Always come back, will be more." Julie seemed rather happy to notice Dale being so excited about something simple as apples.

As soon as he starts to take off though it caught her a little by surprise. She didn't expect him to just leave like that out of nowhere. As she looked at him take off she noticed him grabbing fruit from all around the place, seemingly quite happy about it. She let out a soft chuckle before she turned around, heading off into the woods herself as well.
