Unlike the Centuar Seshat would not tire. Her attacks of blinding light were unrelenting, and after her savage spike on the creature's skull it would follow up with a nasty upward explosion of bright light.
—Strength Name: Professional Courtesy —Description: Some might use the words "repressed" or "vanilla" or "wet blanket", but Susan considers herself well-disciplined, polite, and composed in all circumstances. To a fault, really. Her obedient nature and adherence to structure rarely ever see her cutting loose or acting inappropriately enough so that it's ingrained into her psyche to be on her best behavior.
Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan.
—Strength Name: I'm the One in Control! —Description: During the struggle that occurs after withdrawal from Persona Overdose Seshat is still physically attached to Susan. While that means that Seshat can pull her around the opposite is true: Susan can pull back. In dire straights she can exert herself to guide a rogue attack from Seshat to somewhere more desirable.
Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
Personal Weaknesses
—Weakness Name: Not According to Plan —Description: While she may seem like an aloof and cold businesswoman Susan is incredibly easy to fluster. She works very poorly under pressure and isn't the best at coming up with ideas on the fly, only before or after the fact. It isn't difficult to get her to stutter and stammer at a loss for words when dealing with a situation she isn't accustomed to.
Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan.
—Weakness Name: Rip Off the Bandage —Description: When Susan enters Persona Overdose Seshat will partially merge with her in a bid to consume her as Artificial Personas are wont to do. To free herself from Seshat's bindings Susan must struggle both physically and mentally, and the process leaves friction burns, paper cuts, bruises, and even pulled muscles in her violent fight to gain control of herself once more.
When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.
Skills:
Persona Skill List
Skill 1: Dia | Recovers a small amount of HP (30%) to one ally. | 4 SP | Tier 1 Skill 2: Patra | Removes Panic, Fear, or Distress from one ally. | 3 SP | Tier 1 Skill 3: Kouga | Inflicts moderate Light damage towards one enemy | 6 SP | Tier 2 Skill 4: Dekaja | Remove stat increase from all enemies. | 15 SP | Tier 2 Skill 5: Pathway of Light | Every travel turn taken within a dungeon will recover 10% of SP for each party member being supported. | Passive | Tier 3 (Must have used your Persona Overdose to defeat three enemies in one battle or have used your Persona an additional 30 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 6: Samarecarm | Revives one fallen ally with full HP. | 40 SP | Tier 3 (Unlocked once using your Persona an additional 30 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 7: Healing Wave | All team members [no matter location] will recover 15% of their HP every three turns during battle/dungeon crawling and 15% health once the battle ends. | Passive | Tier 3 [PvS Phase combat exclusively](Unlocked once using your Persona an additional 30 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 8: Remote Heal | Allows user to cast recovery skills on party members without needing to be within their exact location. [Must be in same dungeon/topic] | Passive | Tier 4 (Unlocked after using your Persona an additional 50 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower)
Special Ability
Ability Name: Persona Overdose Persona Name: Seshat Description: Rogues get an ability called “Persona Overdose” that can be used once per battle. In this mode, for three turns, the Rogues get access to a completely new skillset, swapping it for their previous one for that time limit. The new skills are unlocked as the Rogue gains skills normally, and they can be anything, so long as the skill has the same tier as the tier of the skill in their normal skillset. For example, your first skill is Tier 1 in your normal skillset. That means your first skill in your “Persona Overdose” skillset can be any skill as long as it is Tier 1. You can also change your strengths and weaknesses in this mode as long as you have the same amount of strengths and weaknesses as your original skillset does. Your available skills in “Persona Overdose” also are unlocked at the same time you unlock your normal skills. So if a Rogue only has five skills unlocked in their regular skillset, they can only have access to the first five skills in their Overdose mode. Once the three turns are up, their skillset reverts to normal, and for the next three turns, your active Persona skills will be randomized each post, as well as the target for said skill, meaning you will not have any control over what your Persona does for the duration of the three turns.

Persona Overdose Skillset:
Skill 1: Regenerate 1 | Recovers 2% of max HP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 1 Skill 2: Invigorate 1 | Recovers 3 SP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 1 Skill 3: Analysis | Used to detect an enemy's stats and weak points | 15 SP | Tier 2 Skill 4: Third Eye | When you scan a target, there will be a warning if the attack will be Repelled, or Absorbed. | Passive | Tier 2 Skill 5: Escape Route | Automatically exit or enter a Dungeon no matter where you. Yourself or All Allies. | SP 55 | Tier 3 (Unlocked once unlocking your fifth skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 6: Null Panic | Protects user from Panic. | Passive | Tier 3 (Unlocked once unlocking your sixth skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 7: Heavenly Wind | User empowers their teammates with an enhancing aura right before their next attacks. This will make their next attacks unavoidable. | 25 SP | Tier 3 [PvS only] (Unlocked once unlocking your seventh skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 8: Double Hustle | Showers the team in an aura of speed, allowing them to perform two skills/attacks in a single post. [Does not include self and has 5 posts cooldown] | 50 SP | Tier 4 (Unlocked once unlocking your eighth skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower)
Soul Skill Name: Rewrite Persona Name: Seshat Tier: Tier 1 Cost: None Type of Damage: 3SP when actively used, no Passive cost Description: Seshat, being the Egyptian Goddess of Writing, has full control over the written word and imparts this onto Susan. Susan can generate written words on surfaces she touches, marking down what she wishes to instantly, and can change the written word that already happens to be there as well as erasing writing. This change appears natural with no sign of tampering or forgery although her ability to do this relies on her realistic perception of things and does not affect anything else about the medium the word is written on. For instance, if Susan is not aware that a document has a watermark it will not be changed, if she changes the serial number on a dollar bill it can be wrong and be flagged, and changing the numbers on a credit card does not change the data contained in its magnetic strip. This ability can interact with electronic devices but only makes permanent changes if Susan is able to interact with and save the source code, so she can't change things like websites willy-nilly for everyone but she can make a website on a screen that someone is looking at look vastly different until they reload the page.
Because Susan can forge her own money to an extent she gains an extra 15% of the VC she earns from all sources.

The monster managed to heave out of the way of Seshat's fierce strike, the beam of light frying a hole in the ceiling tile and taking out a fluorescent light instead. It attacked straight through Susan's manifestation as if it weren't there, slashing at her suit and ruining it. The tattoo on her face would glow brighter and shatter, the pop of energy surprising Susan as she reeled backward. This was the first actual attack she had felt. The pain managed to settle her nerves ever so slightly, bring her mind into focus. She wouldn't be distracted again nor would she lose herself to the moment.

Susan shrieked as she came under fire, punctured by several rounds as she covered her head in a futile effort. Yet... she did not die. Gunfire and she did not die. Was this what separated the Cadets from people...? Did the terrorists wield the same...? That would be dangerous. This power in the wrong hands could be devastating, it was no small wonder why the government wanted the irregulated stamped out with a vengeance. Susan removed her suit coat, now absolutely ruined and filled with holes. Dare she say she was absolutely furious. That was a Tahari brand suit coat, damnit! It cost more than what some people made in a week.

The Centaur gave one last cry. A death knell that marked its departure once the final attack smote it. Its remains dissipated. Once the very last of its flesh, clapping could be heard. Julius seemed pleased of the outcome. It was to be expected. The first battles were always do-able for every newcomer Cadet. Alex didn't seem to be present, perhaps he decided it wasn't worth his time at this point. Julius spoke to her as he walked towards her and pulled out a pill bottle full of drugs to hand it to her, "You performed admirably. But you may need some assistance in keeping your power in check. Take this. There may be... side-effects. But it is potent enough to do its job. Do you have any questions, Cadet?"

The businesswoman was left heaving for breath after her ordeal. Her body was racked with pain and her mind was equally taxed and weary. As she sucked in air and trembled in the aftershock of her adrenaline surge her brain slowly tried and failed to process exactly what had happened to her. Susan wanted to become a Cadet. Then she drank some punch. It hurt quite a bit and a monster tried to kill her but that was okay, her own monster killed it first. For some reason she had a gun and the Prince of the city was clapping for her. The meek woman would spin and wobble on her feet, trying to take everything in with a look of panic-stricken horror on her face. It had all happened so very fast... "My coat..." she droned in a lost voice, bending down to pick up her discarded garment. She turned it over in her hands, inspecting all the damage the demon had caused. It was full of rips and tears from when it shot her. From when it shot her in the chest. Several times. And it barely even hurt.
"Mwwwwwt MwwwWWT MWWWWWWWWWT!"
Seshat did not quiet its murderous rage at the death of the Centaur. Even as Julius gave Susan her kudos it continued to smash and claw at the body of the Centaur until it disappeared, then the ground beneath. Violent bursts of light would strobe at random intervals as it tore at the tile screaming obscenities in some long lost language. Susan was caught staring at it, frightened at its ferocity as it looked over its shoulder at her... staring intently with its missing face. Julius's approach went unnoticed until he was straight in front of her, handing her a pill bottle and claiming that she could not control the monster that her psyche had formed. "Y-yes sir," she acquiesced, taking it as a scolding. She absentmindedly attempted to put her coat back on in some far-off thought of being modest before the Prince. A little too late considering her hole-filled attire and messy appearance.
"S-sir, pardon my informal tone but I have more questions than any one person is capable of answering in an evening. ...b-but I shall do my best to be reasonable."
Any sane person would have said "no" and accepted what just happened. Not Susan. There was no such thing as a dumb question, only dumb people who asked none and learned nothing. A million-fold questions were chewing at her.
What did you have me drink? What are the side effects of this drug? Why do I need drugs in the first place? Should I take them with or without food? Where did the demon come from, both mine and the other one? Can the terrorists do what I have just done? Who was that boy and where did he go? What happened to me when I lost my face? Why do Cadets receive no combat training prior to trial by combat? Does OSHA know about this? Is it insulting that I continue to address you as "sir" instead of a more regal title, what title would that be? When is my first assignment? Do I have to quit my job? What benefits does being a Cadet have?
Many of these were highly inappropriate and things she would need to learn on her own, but a few were very prudent and relevant to the situation. As scary as Julius could be she would not be swayed from asking questions. "How... how often sh-should I take this medication, sir? What would happen if I... i-if I miss a dose? A-and what side-effects do they cause...? ...sir." Of all things to ask her personal health was the most prudent. Susan should really have asked what she was about to drink before she gulped down all of it but was afraid how she would be looked at if she did not. In the background her black bandaged servant shakily stood and twitched, lumbering toward the two of them with slow, loping steps...
Of all the Cadets that joined, perhaps she was the most shaky of them all. Perhaps after seeing so many reserved and confident recruits spoiled him too much. It was natural that it took time to process. Julius remained as courteous as much as he could, not that it was any difficult in the first place. "One pill a day will suffice. You may also take them when you feel your power is becoming... chaotic. As long as you don't use your Persona, you may go for a considerable amount of time without needing it. How long that time is up to how long you can handle it. The side effects vary for each person. I'm sorry that I'm not remarkably reliable in this department, but we offer necessary assistance should you need it."
Research in Personas was still in its infancy ever since the Eternal Divide. But what knowledge was eked out, it was much better than being completely ignorant. Of course, it wasn't like Julius would even allow his Cadets to be screwed over like that. In the corner of his eye, he noticed the ethereal being approach. He began to grasp the hilt of his saber while keeping a wary eye on it. "Can you dismiss your Persona?"

"Yes sir. I understand..." Susan would accept his response with remorseful gloom. So... it seemed that as long as this... thing crept in the back of her mind she would need to control it with drugs. It wasn't very pleasant to look forward to, just another sword to add to the piercing chandelier of sabers hanging over her head. One more fret, one more worry, one more anxiety. Well... that was the cost of her decision. There would be no changing it now. If... if all the Cadets had to take medication like she did then it couldn't be so bad, could it...?
The woman peered around Julius as he turned his body, his hand gripping the hilt of his weapon. She looked on at the dark abomination, lumbering on all fours as it approached her like predator with a throaty hiss to match. "...I can dismiss it...?" she muttered breathlessly. It continued to approach, writhing its body as it stood on two legs, a slow, purposeful gait. "S...stop that..." Not good enough. She heard the sound of cracking as its arms flailed about, popping unseen bones. "I-I said stop." She was still too unsure of herself.
"....Rrrrrrrrr....Grrrrraaaaaaaaaaah...."
The beast began to tear at its own bandages as it limped toward the pair. "I am ordering you to go away...!" The first time Susan had truly raised her voice and it still did no good.
Seshat screeched a horrible wail and leaped at the Cadets with murderous intent, flinging itself across the ground in erratic bounds.

This was disturbingly peculiar. He watched carefully as the Persona refused to follow her orders. It was a troublesome case, to have a Cadet who couldn't fully control her powers. It meant more training and supervision. Nothing that couldn't be provided, of course. But, the task at hand required his immediate attention. When the creature lunged, it would suddenly feel a sudden pressure forcing its entire body to land to the ground face first, short of reaching the Cadets. The ground would quake with power as a shimmering blue light seemed to gleam from Seshat. It could not move no matter what it did. That source of power came from Julius, or rather, his Persona.
"That will suffice. Cadet, take your pill now."

The abomination landed with a loud snap, cratering the ground as it did so and chipping off pieces of the polished tile to dance and spin along the ground.
"Ssssssseeeeeeeeffffhhhh..."
As stubborn as Susan herself was it would refuse to be beaten even when it was so obviously against impossible odds. It scratched weakly at the ground hissing wickedly, floundering against the Prince's command. She could do nothing but cower behind Julius, awestruck at his awesome power. At his command she nodded desperately with mouth agape, fumbling a pill into her hand as she tossed it back. It went down hard and scratchy with her dry mouth but she managed. As soon as she did so Susan could feel the churning vortex at the back of her head begin to subside.
"Phaaaaaaaarrr..."
After all that trouble Seshat merely eroded from existence. The businesswoman stood shaking for a while, her face growing hot as she could feel wetness grow behind them. "I-I....I'm so sorry sir!" Susan cried out in a choking sob. Yet again she had managed to screw everything up, assaulting the Prince of Endymion and General of the Cadets no less. This was it. She could sink no lower than the pathetic mistake she already was. "I'm sorry I- *hic* -I'm so sorry sir, I didn't mean to I- *sob* swear! I'm sorry, I'll fix it, I'm so sorry...!" With a rush of emotion the hectic evening had finally caught up with her. The unexplained phenomena, the terror, the triumph, loss, everything had bundled itself into a nice little blow and exploded inside Susan all at once. She shuddered violently, continuing to fail at controlling her herself and apologizing to Julius with every non-gasping breath.

When the Persona dissipated, so did Tsukuyomi as Julius allowed it to disappear back into his subconsciousness. The threat was over, but his involvement with Susan for this evening was not. He seemed relatively impassive of what happened, showing he had full control over the situation. He addressed Susan calmly and patiently as he patted her shoulder to help calm her down.
"It's your first time summoning your power. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Not everyone has an innate control with their Persona. But as a Cadet, I expect you to learn how to control it. You will have help as long as you reach out for it. Do you understand, Susan?"

Even if he said that she had nothing to be ashamed of Susan still felt like such a disappointment. Even after a decisive victory against the snarling hell spawn he had brought forth to test her it was clear from first speaking with him that someone as weak-willed as her was not who he was looking for to fill the shoes of a Cadet. And she had proved that to him when she couldn't control her inner self... and then started bawling in front of him... unacceptable behavior from a supposed paragon of the city. But Susan knew she wasn't strong enough when she walked into Seven Stars. She could be strong enough. That was why she was here this evening, to prove that she could meet the challenge and become more than what she was. The first step had been taken and it led to a fall and a scraped knee but that's simply what happened when you had never walked before. Susan was here to learn how to run. She refused to believe that anyone was born with such skills the Cadets wielded. H-hopefully she also wasn't the only one to break down into tears during her Cadet trial, too...
The woman's shuddering and wailing quieted enough for Julius to speak freely, his touch calming in the security of his leadership. Susan was no longer crying at the end of it but still far from composed and shaking like a leaf. "*sniff*...Y-yes sir. Thank you, sir..." she trembled, wiping at her puffy eyes. Susan took a sighed a deep, shaky sigh as she collected herself. "I-I apologize, sir, I let my emotions get the better of me. I will strive not to disappoint you again." She could not find the strength within herself to look him in the eye, she was undeserving of it. Instead she cast her gaze to the physical remnants of her mistakes: the shattered tile and swaying ceiling light. "...May I be dismissed, sir...?" she asked in a whisper.
OoC:
Susan will exit the thread this post if she is given permission to do so.
Julius could already imagine Alex curling his lips in disgust at this woman if he was here. But it was a good thing he wasn't. The Prince nodded approvingly at her. It was at least a first step. She was able to summon her Persona. The prospect of getting her into training began to make him think of the possible candidates who could help her get used to the job. A certain Cadet from the Church might be a prospective choice. After all, she was one of the leading rookies who was expected to be trusted with more responsibilities.
"You may. But have faith in yourself, Cadet. Everything becomes naught if you can't."
