| The silence one could achieve walking deep within the back alleys of the Slums was glorious. It drove even the sanest man mad within a few hours! It was simply divine for someone like Harmony. He adored the thought of someone being driven mad... Watching someone be driven into the euphoric bliss of insanity! If only he could relive the day he too lost his sanity! Ooooh...
He'd let out a longing sigh, the small noise echoing along the empty walls. It was wonderful being this perfectly alone! He relished the idea of loosing all sense of being part of humanity! The looks on those around him if he simply forgot what composure was! The idea tantalized his mind, it was a tempting offer... But no, the hunt! The chase! He was forever bound to humanity lest he die within this blissful silence!
He'd spin happily, as if a child in a candy store. The endless ideas that would only serve to drive him further into the Labyrinth of the Moon! Could he even choose in the first place? The idea of choosing just one possibility out of the countless ways to drive him further and deeper...! Aaaaah, it was so impossible! He'd go mad from just choosing alone!
However, he'd stop. His mind and body would fall silent as he heard something in the distance. Not a person, no, he knew perfectly what their foot steps sounded like. It was something else... Metallic, a machine? With that, curiosity sprung forth and compelled Harmony to find the source of the silence shattering noise. | |
