Analyzing Character Data.
Character Data at 50%.
M'kay, firstly Junction's side plot uses slightly different character sheets than the generic ones used for most other plots. They're in the Junction section of the site but I'll link the ASSW one here:
https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t5856-assw-character-templateThe templates used in Junction have a few extra pieces to be noted down, such as your race name, original home world name etc. They also have a new gun type that isn't available in other plots as well as having something called a "racial strength/weakness". This is one specific strength/weakness that comes from your race, the racial strength/weakness can be more impactful than normal strength/weaknesses, but with all strength/weaknesses you have to make them balanced. So if the strength provides a big boon, there must be a big downfall in the weakness. You can look at other character apps submitted for the Junction plot for some ideas.
Now onto the rest of the sheet:
-In appearance you need to include your height and weight
-Alternate appearances are something for Endy, they aren't present in Junction.
-A little more detail in both appearance and personality in general would be appreciated but not fully necessary.
—Strength Name:Sword master
—Description: For some reason unknown to him, Zmatok is exceptional with one handed swords, be they rapiers, longswords, or just a wooden playtoy, he can handle it like a master.
-For your sword master strength, I wasn't sure if you wanted this as just a general descriptive thing or something that actually affects battle, as currently it wouldn't affect battle. If you wanted it to, you'd have to add something such as "Increases dex attacks by 10%" etc. (Also be aware that any strengths you have that affect combat you must have equal weaknesses that affect combat in an equal balance.)
—Strength Name: Scrapmaster
—Description: REDUCE!REUSE! RECYCLE! He can make useful items from what most people would consider junk, got a broken TV? Make a walky talky. Old pipes? Hello gun!
-For the Scrapmaster strength, having your character be a tinkerer as his backstory and general RP profession is fine, just be aware that you wouldn't actually be able to use these weapons that you create for real.
—Strength Name: Eagle eyes
—Description: Can score critical shots easier, as well as has an easier time hitting enemies with both melee weapons and ranged weapons
-For the Eagle eyes strength, you can't have a strength that affects two different things in one. So it'd either have to affect your crit chance or your hit rate. Also you need to actually add by what % that the strength is affecting you. Though for this kind of strength you wouldn't be able to have anything above 10%.
—Weakness Name: Overthinker
—Description: Salvage can easily distract him, and he has been known to stop fighting to get something he deems useful
-For the Overthinker weakness, I'm not 100% sure what you actually are trying to imply with this weakness. Usually combat on the site, at least for PvS (Player Vs Shadow), is a turn based fight that simply continues until you have defeated all enemies at which point you are given the battle rewards. So I'm unsure what you are intending this weakness to do.
—Weakness Name:overly emotional
—Description: If someone KO’s his ally, he will instantly go berserk, getting reckless and nullifying his eagle eye bonus until he calms down
-For the overly emotional weakness, this isn't really a proper weakness to balance out the strength. As it is quite rare that someone is KO'd, and even if so with this current weakness it doesn't actually provide a weakness, just simply removes the strength.
—Weakness Name: Fear of bugs
—Description: If an enemy resembles a bug, he will always be last in the combat order until that foe is beaten, due to him hiding behind his friends
-The Fear of bugs weakness again is a little weird to me, it could work I suppose, but in most cases combat order doesn't fully matter. Unless you're a support or a healer who is best up first or best last, most of the time order doesn't matter. Having the general fear of bugs is fine, its just the result that's a little odd to me. Also combat order can't be changed once combat has started and the order is set, so even if it did work how it currently is written, even if the "bug" enemy was defeated within combat. You'd still have to be last each rotation until that combat is ended.
-You need to add the dimensions of your soulbound weapon and gun, giving how long the harpoon is, etc.
-Finally, you need to expand upon your history a little providing at least two paragraphs. Also as shown on the Junction specific character sheet, you need to give a little information about your characters original home world as well as how he ended up on Junction. Even if the character himself doesn't know.
