Part/Full Time Job: She's a painter! While it isn't officialy her job, as she doesn't have an official one just yet - it's what she pursues the most in terms of career. She wants to become a full-time painter once she graduates, and in the meantime, she sells her paintings online.

Appearance: Korie is a teen of average height, and slender figure. Her locks of hair are umber-brown in color, descending all the way from her crown to the small edge of her back. Her eyes give off the true meaning of a pair of cold, icy-blue hues. Around her neck, a necklace could be found - it has short and small golden locks, with a pendant of a lone, and an indentical in color arrow. She will always be found at a presentable state, wearing clothes that fit her body perfectly - and with her hair combed and kept straight. The only detail that might seem off about her outfits is the fact she always wears long clothes. Whether of if it's just always so cold to her or not is a question she hasn't felt the need to answer just yet. In the (very!) rare occassion in which Korie does not wear long sleeves, many scars could be be seen across both of her arms.

Alternate Appearance: In her alternate appearance, Korie takes on a more... Confident posture, if that's even possible. She stands with more confidence and pride than ever before. In addition to that, she also wears a tight black body suit. The same notable, gold necklace could still be seen around her neck - which more of it is revealed when wearing this outfit. She wears long and dark boots with heels, which let her rise in height as well.
As to Korie's mask, it is a rather simple one– black in color as well, but... For those paying attention, they could notice the much obvious shape of it– one of a dove.

Personality: This teen’s personality can honestly be summed up as formal and fearless. Her language could be called careless just as much as it is formal. She is respectful with her actions and speech towards those who are more veteran than her, yet you could say she cares little to none at all about those who are younger, or not as talented as her, the ones she considers to be... "Less" than her. Quite the superiority complex, huh?

Not one to admit it personally, she owns her fears. She owns her weaknesses, those so-called fears. They are nothing but things she must adapt to, the sooner, the better. It's not always an easy or fast process, but it's something she takes seriously. Korie is not the person to let those things control her, yet she is still rather impulsive. "Who isn't?" She'd probably excuse if asked about it. Manipulative by birth with a natural talent for lying, one might even call it a second nature of her's.
She's temperamental and hotheaded more often than not. At certain times, she's not even sure of when she's supposed to stop– or if at all.

Insults and curses are woven into her casual speech, usually kept under locks and keys. When not under pressure or being pushed, this girl makes sure to be calculated, words taken into much consideration - many times halting before speaking; until someone sparks something within her, which might cause an eruption of some sort, rarely being a silent one.
Due to these habits of offering a fairly aggressive first-impression, Korie does not score many friends, or classmates that end up wanting her around them. She's snarky, and sarcastic- she doesn't belong here - or there. She doesn't fit in this wide, big world.

She's realistic nonetheless, aware of the fact she cannot live without others to torture and associate with, thus, at times-- she might be, even if very naturally yet unfitting, kind. It's a rare, hated nature of hers - but one that she had accepted, knowing there is no other way.

The Background

History: Korie is a single child who was born into a perfectly normal family. Both of her parents are still alive and well, both of them have normal, and ordinary jobs... And both of them are normal. Their lives have been normal, nothing too exciting and special– they had nothing to worry about their entire lives. Not something... Important, at least.

Korie, on the other hand? She's the exact opposite of her parents. She is anything but ordinary and normal, and although sometimes she wishes she was that way-- life doesn't just work like that. Just wanting or asking your life to be a certain way doesn't work, unfortunately. Since she can remember herself, Korie has always been drawn to drawing and painting. There was just something that pulled her into being an artist - something she is more than likely not even aware of just yet. She hasn't come face to face with it, but she has accepted being an artist. A painter. ..Being someone who is so not usual and ordinary. Artists are "special" after all. Their careers are not as safe or simple as other people's–but unlike most parents, Korie's parents never expressed anything against it. In fact, her mother was so supportive of the path her daughter chose, she quit her job and began pushing her into having her paintings published and seen by people who could buy it, or even better, showcase it. It has happened a few times by now - and it got her into good schools, and even helped pay the bills whenever help was needed.

..And then it stopped. People stopped taking interest in Korie and her paintings, as if something had just... Faded away. Her talent, maybe? Or was it just her muse?

Later on, Korie found out the latter can be fixed. ..How, exactly? Not the kind of a solution her parents would appreciate or approve of. She found that pain gives her a direction - a path - her muse back. What kind of pain? Any of it, but the worst kind of it gives her the best paintings. She has started to cut herself, and has been doing so for around two years now. It's not something she is proud of-- it's not something she will ever admit doing, but... It gets the job done. It gets her to paint, and most importantly, it gets her paintings sold.

She is fully aware of the danger in self-harm, she just... Can't let go of it. Not while her parents need her– and not for as long as she's an artist. If that's the only way she can become a world-reknown painteress, then so be it. Pain apparently does deliver beauty and her blood creates art.

I want a length on the spear. I can approve it afterwards once you do that. Since she cuts herself, you might want to mention scars on her arms in her appearance.
